Do you have Discord (If so, what is your discord username?):
meddlingscoob
How old are you? (Optional):
20
What is your time zone?:
EST
Describe your activity on the server:
Throughout the two years I have been playing on the server, my activity remains practically the same with me being consistently online at least eight hours daily. While my attention is divided between multiple accounts and characters, being online for so long each day allows for me to give a good amount of time to each one with ease. Whenever I am online, I'm typically in some sort of interaction. Whether it be some form of detailrp or the most simplistic roleplay to date, I'm near constantly around people whether it's my first time meeting them or a long time friend. I'm online at very random hours of the day, both when the server is at it's peak player count and even when it's time for the daily restart. Being around at various times helps me get even more involved with people outside of my time zone.
These are my two other accounts playtimes:

Do you acknowledge that if you are inactive you will be demoted?:
Yes, I'm aware that inactivity will result in removal from the faction.
School Employee Role you are applying for?:
Receptionist
In as much detail as possible, describe the employee role you are applying for:
Working as a receptionist brings on multiple tasks with the majority of them being desk oriented. Receptionists are typically found around the front desk area of the school, which is where they greet and interact with students who may have any questions regarding anything about the school, such as directions, how classes work, and so on. Along with that, people with this role are able to assist students wishing to trade stickers for rewards, hand out visitor passes to those coming in for meetings, and answer any calls to the school’s hotline. If needed, both high school and college students can be requested to meet at a certain spot over the intercom, and detention slips can be handed out which brings them to later monitor the detention room at the end of the school day.
What experience, in general, do you have in roleplay?:
I have been active on SRP for about two years now, and throughout all that time I have found myself experiencing many different types of roleplay. While I still have these roles, my most memorable times on the server are interactions I’ve gotten while on my volleyball and detective tags, which have both granted me with a wide variety of roleplay with other people. From rivalry situations to interrogations to spirits causing havoc, I’m confident in saying that I know how to get myself into interactions and navigate through situations.
Outside of SRP, I have no other experience in roleplay. Everything I've done on the server is the extent to what I've done, which has grown drastically over the past few years I've been active within the community.
Why do you want to join the School Employee faction?:
After being on the server for so long, I’ve come to a realization that I’ve never properly looked at the school faction in it's whole for all that it is. I’ve been a part of many other things that SRP has to offer, and I believe it’s time I give this side of the server a try. While I love the student half of interactions and will continue to seek them out on other characters, I believe I’d enjoy providing the employee half to others, and would do well with the role I've decided to apply for. On top of being able to provide interactions for those who play students, joining the employee faction would allow for me to expand on a character I've been wanting to for a bit now. This truly seems like the only right next step.

Situations

During a work-shift a student starts cursing at you for being pathetic, how does your character react?:

Should a student begin to act in such a way during school hours, it would of course be Tiānyǔ’s responsibility to resolve the issue in as much of a composed manner he could manage. A singular warning would be given out, in which would be the inclusion of mentioning detention should they continue. All while the warning is given, he would try to talk them down in a relaxed manner, an attempt to make them see the behavior they’re using isn’t worth the trouble they would receive if they continue. Which, of course, if the student goes on with the behavior they would be promptly given a slip.
You notice two students are physically fighting in the hallway, – multiple punches have been thrown – how does your character react?:
Catching sight of a physical altercation between two students would bring Tiānyǔ to quickly make his way over, radio in hand and being used to request for another staff to show up if there’s a crowd, and announce his presence in hopes that alone would prevent further punches. Without laying his hand on a student, he’d try his best to get between the two and get a good look at both in case either decided to run off so they could be intercommed later on. While de-escalating the situation, he would also try to get an understanding of it and ensure each student felt heard despite their actions. Once things had calmed down and both students were safe, he would follow through with appropriate disciplinary action.
Another school employee is clearly acting inappropriately, doing something very dangerous on the job, how does your character react?:
Tiānyǔ would be able to pick out an employee acting inappropriately with ease. There’s a time and place for everything, and the limits to what can and cannot is known to him. If the co-worker isn’t posing a threat to anyone, but is otherwise causing trouble, Tiānyǔ would request for them to talk to him in private so that he could explain the issue. Whether that resolved the problem or the conversation went ignored, Tiānyǔ would be sure to speak to either a head of department or SLT about it so that the employee’s behavior would be on their radar and kept track of.
When in the employee break room, how does your character act?
While being out and about with students requires much more of a front to be given, Tiānyǔ’s time in the employee break room would allow for him to relax all while keeping a calm and professional demeanor. If others were around, he’d make sure to get to know his co-workers through conversation while enjoying a cup of water and a snack. If the space were empty for the amount of time he was in there, he’d enjoy some time to himself, recharging while basking in the peace and quiet while still getting a snack before returning back to the front desk to continue with his shift.
Provide us with at least three detailed /me's of your character whilst on your chosen role:
/me
made his way to a pushed-in chair that sat at the front desk, pulling it out and sitting down with his attention turned towards the powered down computer. Turning the device on, a password was typed in and the mouse was utilized so that a page featuring received emails could be seen. Slowly but surely, Tiānyǔ began going through each message, reading and handling them as needed. Some were forwarded to whoever they needed to be while some sent straight to his junk folder. As he went through, click by click, his gaze was sometimes drawn towards the main entrance of the school in hopes a student would seek assistance. It seems they never do when a distraction is wished upon. .
/me watched as the student approached the desk, a friendly smile kept up on his face while they strolled up and kept that way throughout the interaction. As they mentioned their wish to trade in reward tokens, he began to turn towards the container in which the prizes were kept, nodding along to the words. With the request of a specific musical instrument given, Tiānyǔ collected the item and returned back to the student, offering it over after ensuring they had the required twenty-five tokens.
/me noticed that the desk he worked at had begun to have old papers and coffee cups pile up. With the downtime between computer work and the majority of students in classes, he decided it was time to clean the space a bit. He began with collecting all the dirtied cups and disposing of them all before his attention turned to the more time consuming task. Going through each paper that was littered around, they were eventually sorted into their respected spots for safe keeping.

Backstory
Tiānyǔ Wang was born and raised in Shanghai, a well populated city which sits along the eastern coast of China. Him, alongside his twin brother Línhǎi, were happily welcomed into a small, loving family which had a heart the size of the metropolis they lived within. With a Chinese mother and a Japanese father, both languages and traditions were taught from a young age. The two brothers were brought up being taught to respect the cultures and constant changes that quite literally everything around them faced, ongoing modernization within the city that couldn’t be ignored.

Truthfully, there was never much to Tiānyǔ’s life outside of his family and education. Everything in his life was considered perfectly normal, and he enjoyed it that way. He and his brother were inseparable all throughout their lives, and it wasn’t until their high school graduation that a change of such was brought upon the two. Tiānyǔ wished to remain within the peace, to continue his education and get an easy job. On the other hand, Línhǎi wanted more, taking note of the constant change that sat around them. Both of them went into university, though their reasons were different for once. Tiānyǔ applied for business courses at Tonji University while Línhǎi went for a law program.

The separation from one another began there, the two slowly drifting further as their workloads grew and relationships with others became more relevant. Of course the two remained in touch, though it was clear their lives away from the other were finally beginning. Tiānyǔ focused on his education and graduated with a bachelor’s after four years, which not long after he had found an easy enough desk job and settled in his own apartment, maintaining a life surrounded by work and a small group of friends. While his life remained simple, his brother had become a police officer in the city, keeping an edge in the back of Tiānyǔ’s mind.

Years had passed with how things were, and by the time the twins were thirty-five, the more adventurous one had moved to Karakura with a job opportunity that couldn’t be passed up. Growing painfully bored of how things were in Shanghai, Tiānyǔ decided to follow suit and packed the little he had, quitting his job to make way into Japan. While he wasn’t ready to get into anything grand such as the line of duty, Tiānyǔ decided to search for a job similar enough to his previous, bringing him to browse Karakura High’s employment options and going for what seemed best fit for him.
Motivation for Joining KHS (Character perspective):
“In all honesty, I need a change of pace that’s within the line of work I can manage. I’ve just moved into Karakura, and already I’ve noticed that most children around are in need of some sort of. . Guidance? While I of course can’t go and give advice to all of them, I can offer at the very least a friendly face and assistance at the front desk of the school. Should a few of them ask for help, I’ll gladly give them what I can while maintaining my other duties. That’s all I could ask to provide for the students here, if I’m given the opportunity to.”
Why should you be accepted over the other applicants?:
There’s so much more to a role such as the one I’m applying for than many people realize. Of course it grants the ability to be put in specific situations that no others would be able to get, but most people end the interactions they seek there. I know for a fact I would be active within the role, just as I am with my others. Given the opportunity, I believe I would be able to strive in the position and have the ability to offer positive experiences to everyone I’m able to reach.
