Why are Teachers so important to SchoolRP?:
Teachers are very important in a school based roleplay server because of their role in guiding students through various educational activities that reflect real world school environments. This makes education a vital part of the roleplay experience. Additionally, teachers communicate and enforce rules from the School Leadership Team also known as SLT, ensuring that students follow the school's rules and expectations. Their presence adds realism to the server, as real people (rather than AI) are providing lessons and interacting with students, effectively providing a real school experience. Moreover, teachers provide both academic and emotional support to students, often hosting educational and engaging games that enhance learning. Finally, they play an essential part in organizing and participating in school events, hosting extracurricular activities, and helping create a more enjoyable community within the server.

What's your character's full name?: Mizuto Kazuma
What is your character's nationality?: Japanese
What is your preferred subject to teach?: Design Technology (Culinary)
Describe your character:
Mizuto, would stand at 6'0. He towered over what seemed to be only half the students in this school. he would have black, straight hair that brushed over one of is eyes in a consistent swoop. The deep, black hair seemed to have a faint red hue when the sun beamed straight on it, framing his black eyes. Eyes that would remind you of a void, pitch black holding a stern, sharp gaze at all times. His body was built with an immense amount of muscle, something that would usually bring fear to someone and yet he was a calm, gentle giant. His left arm was decorated with a sleeve of cyberciligism, consistent and dark that spread over his shoulder and slightly over the front of his chest. Despite such an intimidating look, the male was a kind, quiet soul. He merely observed. He was always precise with his work, and yet was a laid back type of guy. There was never a reason to raise his voice with aggression, as he saw a simple conversation would make due. He was one who never saw violence as the answer, highly against people harming each other. The male, when he wasn't silent, seemed to be quite the comedian who enjoyed both telling and hearing jokes, he was also a HUGE food lover, his days are spent working out and crafting meals for himself to enjoy, and his plans include him becoming a chef for a high rated restaurant in the future.
What is your character's outlook on students and co-workers?:
Mizuto is a laid back teacher, he'd joke around with his coworkers and students any chance he would get, of course making sure not to cross the line with any jokes. If a student was feeling down, he would try his best to raise their spirits, whether it be through jokes or an activity, he didn't like to see people feeling down, it reminded him of his childhood. Mizuto would also attempt to make his classes as fun as possible while also keeping it related to the subject of learning, Mizuto loves having fun and knows that classes could be boring at times, so he'd throw in competition to lift people's spirits and hopefully get more people involved.
What is your character's motivation for teaching?:
Mizuto has always loved cooking, his parents were never around to teach him many things in life, cooking was one of the only exceptions, his father would take him out hunting whenever he could, and his mother would teach him everything to know about cooking. The basics, family recipes, the history behind all the different foods they made together, his favorite type of meal is anything Italian really. He's always admired the Italian culture and foods, especially the foods. Which then brought him to want to share this passion with others, he wants others to see the side of cooking that most people do not see, he wants others to appreciate cooking as well, it doesn't have to be as much as his passion for it, but he'd be happy if they developed even a slight interest in it.
Roleplay Scenarios
A student in class is struggling to understand the content, what would your character do?:
Mizuto would carefully observe the student to identify the areas they were struggling in the most. He would then approach the student and explain the material in simpler terms, breaking it down step by step. To help build up their understanding, he would also guide the student through a short activity related to the assignment, helping them grasp the concept more effectively.
A student is continuously being disruptive in class, talking out of turn, and making jokes with classmates. What would your character do?:
At first Mizuto would calmly tell them to stop before continuing his lesson, once they start up again, he would tell them to take a time out before announcing to the class that if anyone else decides to interrupt class, he would be taking away any fun activities that he had planned for after the in class assignment, any games and such. He'd then ask the ones causing trouble to stay after class and explain to him why they felt the need to disrupt the class, he'd then ask them what he could do to keep them interested in the class instead of disrupting it.
Provide at least 2 interactive class ideas related to your preferred subject:
Mizuto would set up a cook off as one class activity. He'd attempt to split the class in two, and have both sides attempt to create a dish that is more appealing than the other, the winner would get a prize, he would write down the names of the winning team, and bring them treats during the next class. This would bring a fun yet competitive class, and give them a reason to stay involved with the class and hopefully start to enjoy cooking more overall.
The second activity he would do is challenge the class to collectively choose a meal to learn, he'd put in a voting system and grab a few ideas from the class as options before having them vote on a certain meal to prepare, as they are preparing it, he'd give certain history of the dishes of that meal and fun facts about it to engage the learning portion of the class.
