Why are Teachers so important to SchoolRP?:
Teachers are very important to SchoolRP because they are a big part of the server and without them the server is not very fun, and it would defeat the whole purpose of the server being called "SchoolRP". Teacher's give something for players/students to do, teachers create a learning environment where students can learn useful things to graduate and get a successful career! Classes that I've attended tend to be quite eventful and not boring, and they create roleplaying opportunities for players/students. Even outside of class teachers happen to be everywhere and create a safe environment for students to roam!
Do you acknowledge that if you are inactive you may lose your role?:
Yes, I do understand.
Do you agree to undergo teacher training if your application is successful?:
Yes, I understand and I am grateful for the training

In-Character Section
What's your character's full name?:
"My name is Eirian Hietala, it's a pleasure to meet you and have this opportunity." He'd say a politely a gentle smile on his face.
What is your character's nationality?:
"I am part Welsh and Finnish. My First name is Welsh, and my surname is Finnish actually." He said nodding slightly his hands crossed as he slightly leaned back on the chair.
What is your preferred subject to teach?:
English
Describe your character:
Eirian Hietala is a 6'5 blonde light skinned male with an eyepatch over his left eye;
his right eye is a dark brown color. His hair sits in a half up half down style if his back is turned to you, you would see a ponytail. He wears an eyepatch because he was born with a weak eye. Eiran acts rather calm, collected, often makes dry jokes that only he finds funny yet catches his students off guard during serious lessons. He's not one to speak about himself to his students wanting to keep that part of himself private. He finds himself rather average because he really doesn't have any outstanding features.
What is your character's outlook on students and co-workers?:
{!} Eirian's outlook towards students is something like "they have so much to learn." He expects that his students would put in effort to learn the materials he teaches and hopefully use the knowledge he teaches them in the future. Eirian tends to be patient and firm; he never raises his voice and is very understanding. He heavily encourages students to try to understand things on their own but if they ever needed help, he would always be more than happy to help. He's very respectful to students but respects the students who are hard workers a little more because of their dedication to learning. When it comes to reoccurring students, he learns more about them and gains a deeper understanding of them leading him to becoming subtly protective over them.
{!} When it comes to co-workers Eirian tries to keep a respectful and polite demeanor towards them, he values their opinions especially when it comes to superiors because they have more experience than he does. He takes the opportunity to learn from his co-workers about new things that happen in the world, graciously accepts advice from them and loves to talk to them. Whenever he's around his coworkers he does appear more relaxed and not so serious as they all are mature adults though he still tends to keep to himself and not say things that could possibly start drama as he would much rather have an environment where he doesn't have to feel tense because of a silly misunderstanding and is not one to be pushed around.
What is your character's motivation for teaching?:
Eirian is motivated by genuine interest in students growth and understanding. He keeps his distance for privacy, but he still tries to be approachable, invested, and attentive to their needs. Teaching for him is about connection, guidance, and inspiring curiosity, rather than asserting authority or maintaining detachment. He hopes that students use what they learned to get themselves a stable job in the future and that they gain just that right amount of independence so that they won’t have to rely on everyone else around them. He likely believes that understanding a subject deeply can empower them in life beyond school. He wants them to reach their full potential, overcome challenges and gain confidence! The students who tend to struggle motivate him in a way that makes him want to find new ways to teach so that these students can learn quicker! Eirian values the joy of learning new things himself and wants students to experience that.

Roleplay Scenarios
A student in class is struggling to understand the content, what would your character do?:
Eirian would stand in front of the class as he lets the students work on their own. If he notices a student struggling with the assignment, he would quietly observe the student letting them have a moment to perhaps figure it out on their own. If the student still does not understand he would walk up to them and quietly ask them if they needed assistance with the work.
{!} "Are we alright over here or would you like me to help you, you seem rather confused." He'd listen to the student's concern and slightly nod before asking what they do and don't understand. Whatever the student tells him he would think for a moment before coming up with a solution he thinks will help the student, putting it in lighter terms or explaining a little bit more in detail. He knows his students won't always immediately get it and that everyone learns differently, he doesn't get annoyed or irritated he remains calm and continues to try helping the student. However, he doesn't want to hover, so he lets the student know that if they still need help to call him over or approach him as he is always happy to help his students.
A student is continuously being disruptive in class, talking out of turn, and making jokes with classmates. What would your character do?:
Eirian would pause his lecture, staying quiet and staring at the student before saying to the student, "I appreciate you wanting to speak but if it's not about the subject I ask that you stay quiet so everyone else can pay attention to what I am teaching them.” He remained calm but there was a hint of seriousness in his tone. He quickly moved on from the disruption and continued to teach.
If the student continued to cause interruptions and be disrespectful to their peers Eiran would ask that the student leave the classroom if they were going to continue to be disruptive as it is very rude to be interrupting his lecture, not so much for him but for the classmates who most likely came to class to learn and gain knowledge or class points.
On the final offense he’d sigh and remove the student from the class but not before speaking.
{!} "I appreciate you attending my class, but it seems as though you are not here to take this seriously so I'm going to have to remove you from the room. Thank you for taking interest in the class and goodbye." He'd quickly turn his focus back to the rest of the students and moved the topic back to the subject for that class.
Eirian is not the type of man to raise his voice at people as he finds it adds unnecessary drama and aggression. He simply believes that the student's would respect a teacher and listen, so he doesn't find the need to raise his voice. He does however make sure the student knows that he's not joking and that his point is getting across with firmness.
Provide at least 2 interactive class ideas related to your preferred subject:
{★} One of the interactive class idea's related to English that I have in mind would be to have the students write a poem about an article, book etc. They would get a theme to write about and afterwards Eirian would ask for any volunteers to read their poem out loud, if no one wanted to, he would encourage the students by saying stuff like "It's alright no one is going to judge your poem." or "You all worked hard on them why not show off your work!" He would like to create an environment where students can show off their work without having anxiety or worries about anyone judge them.
{★★} One of the other interactive class idea's I have in mind would be something like "finish the story!" Every student would write one sentence in a book, though no one is allowed to talk to each other, and Eiran would start it off while everyone went off of what he said, he would give the students a number and from there they would all write whatever they wanted. At the end Eiran would read out loud what they all wrote, it can definitely go any direction whether it be mediocre, sad, happy, chaotic etc.! This would be one where it would probably take two classes, but it seems fun!
