Main Account - Kinyuun
Alternative Account - Kinrufu (Applicant Account)
Do you have Discord (If so, what is your discord username?):
Yes, I have discord as it is the easiest way to communicate within the servers community. My discord username is Kinyuun. Please feel free to reach out to me regarding any questions or concerns revolving around my Shopkeeper application.
How old are you? (Optional):
I am currently 20 years old.
What is your time zone?:
My timezone is Eastern Standard Time (EST). During summer due to daylight savings, my time zone is Eastern Daylight Time (UTC-4).
Describe your activity on the server:
My activity on the server is entirely dependent on what is occurring in my day to day life as I imagine is the case for most adults playing on this server. I would say that I am an extremely active player within the community, ranging around two to eight hours of activity a day depending on my availability. Outside of this, I take occasional breaks from the server when needed for mental health reasons, though this is fairly rare and something that I only do if absolutely necessary. When I am online, I'm extremely active within the teacher faction or roleplaying around the map of Karakura, however I'm looking to expand my horizons, which is what has led to me filling out this application! When I am not online, I am frequently checking discord throughout my day to stay up to date on the things that are necessary for me to handle and be informed of. I would like to note that I am a working adult, typically working shifts that range from four hours to eight hours in a day. In total, I work around 30-40 hours a week. Even though I work full time, I am still an active member on SchoolRP and log on when I can, ensuring that I am available when needed.
Below are two separate time tables that I am typically available during, often ranging depending on what times i'm being scheduled. My real life schedule changes rapidly due to my living environment, so take these activity spoilers lightly. However, they're as accurate as I can make them. As stated, I work a full time work schedule, meaning that my schedule may change depending on what my day to day entails. To further explain my activity, I typically only work in the morning or in the evening, never both unless its a special circumstance. Please refer to these timetables under EST, or Eastern Standard time.

Shop Information
What shop are you applying for?:
I am applying for ownership of Rotasu Music
Why do you want to become a Shopkeeper?:
Throughout my time and activity on SchoolRP, many factions have caught my eye. Though despite this, my dedication has been surrounded around Faculty Factions, specifically the Teacher Faction. Though I admire Teacher greatly as it’s my greatest accomplishment on the server, I’ve been eager to expand myself in ways that offer more variety to the community outside of school hours. Throughout every faction and the way they’re laid out, the one that has called to me the most out of any faction outside of Faculty would be Shopkeeper and is a faction I've sought after for many years during my activity. Though I withheld applying for some time, I figured it would be best to wait until I made a name for myself within the community, which I personally believe I've accomplished since. Shopkeeper is a role that I’m immensely interested in and strive to achieve. This is due to several reasons.
First and foremost, I remember when the Shopkeeper faction was first introduced, back when the Karakura map was first released. I worked alongside friends and notable players in many different shops, some of the most notable from the early times being Happy Pills, Soubway, and Noms Cafe. I’ve gathered a valuable amount of experience in the shop keeping faction since then, working alongside other players and Shopkeepers in order to create a unique atmosphere for customers and players alike. Considering my involvement outside of being a Shopkeeper myself since the early days of the factions release, I believe I hold a fair amount of experience regarding the intricate ways the faction is run in comparison to others who may be applying. As far as current times go, I’ve been an employee as well as a manager at the Shop in which I'm applying for, Rotasu Music since my return to the server in May of 2024. With that in mind, I already hold an extreme amount of experience in the specific shop in which I'm applying for. I’ve helped and assisted the previous owner of the shop with things such as handling and accepting applications, hosting interviews, training new oncoming employees, openings, restocking, price adjustments to stock, shop events, and more.
The Shopkeeping role is one that requires a fair amount of activity, dedication, positive reputation amongst the community, and a unique feel that stands out from other shops. All of these qualities are ones that I've strived to meet over my years of involvement within the community and are qualities that I believe make me stand out in comparison to other applicants. However, this is just one of the many reasons why I wish to become a Shopkeeper. I have a fairly large amount of experience when it comes to being in a position that requires commitment and dedication, as well as leadership experience in order to ensure the environment you’re involved in is one that is unbiased, positively reinforced, and again, unique. Many of this experience comes from my real life, being a barista trainer, receptionist, and a previous cosmetology student. I have an extreme amount of experience with working with schedules that are favorable for both clients and customers, as well as creating a positive atmosphere for both employees, trainees, and again customers. The qualities that I speak of are qualities that are the most favorable when it comes to holding the Shopkeeper role, which is part of why I believe I’m an admirable candidate for Rotasu Music.
Overall, I’d like to be a Shopkeeper for one simple reason: Community. I’d like to further engross myself within this amazing community as expanding my skills outside of the Teacher faction is something I’ve strived to do for quite some time now, which I believe will be upheld greatly within Shopkeeper. I believe I would be able to offer players the opportunity to engross themselves within Music Roleplay, creating a home for those interested in being part of such a community. I’d like to give new incoming players the opportunity to have experience in working in a Shop, allowing for those whose main source of income comes from the Fishing locations an opportunity to grow both financially as well as socially within the community by offering them a place in our home, the shop. On another note, I’d also like to offer those who feel lost outside of school time an opportunity to find more roleplay opportunities within our shop and grow their reputation and experience as a player. In addition, I would love to hold unique events that make Rotasu Music stand out from others, as well as offer a place of comfort and ease by welcoming anyone and everyone that walks along the pier and into Rotasu Music.
What do you plan to do with your shop, and what makes it unique?:
A place full of tremendous opportunities revolving around tuneful melodies, Rotasu Music draws in the alternative customers and the common folk walking along the pier into the vast building through the fresh scent of flavorful espresso, green tea, and the unique scent of unused instruments filling the air, waiting to be loved and enjoyed by the citizens of Karakura. The atmosphere that I would like to be perceived within the location of Rotasu would be extremely inviting and curated for a punk rock indie scene, couches and sunken conversation pits waiting to be used and loved to help the people grow and connect with one another through common interests in both coffee and music. The interior of Rotasu Music would shift from a typical shelf driven environment to one that creates a welcoming atmosphere for those who wish to enjoy the space to lounge and enjoy while tuning their guitars and polish their flutes as they sip on a warm, fresh Americano pulled from the pristine espresso machines upstairs made by our very own Baristas. The walls and ambiance would be one that's curated towards a more alternative crowd; one that screams 'ROCK ON!'. This environment alone is what I believe would make Rotasu unique and stand out from the other shops and restaurants in Karakura.
In addition, there are various things that I would like to hold within Rotasu. Whether that be various events, meetings for individuals interested in music, or simply creating an inviting atmosphere for people to relax in after a long day of work, I would like Rotasu to be the place that the people on the server turn to know and love. Rotasu would be more than just a music shop; It would be a safe space, maybe a home to some. The various unique attributes that I'd like to bring to Rotasu is a lot to type up under one simple question, so I'd like to break it down a bit to give anyone viewing this application a full understanding on my intentions on how I'd like this shop to become one that is loved by all in Karakura.
What will Rotasu Music look like?
The First Floor Interior
I would like the first floor to be the most commonly used areas for the public to come and go as they please when the store is open. I would like the environment to again, be a warm, cozy environment that invites individuals to study, discuss music, and maybe connect others who enjoy similar things whether that be bonding through coffee, music, or anything that meets their forte.
The Second Floor
For the upstairs part of Rotasu, I would like this to mainly be the area where the Cafe is located. While downstairs is curated around music, upstairs will mainly be focused on a dive bar kind of cafe environment; an area for those to relax after a long day to study, get some work done on Rotasus provided laptops, or simply a place to sit and enjoy the AC and escape the summer heat. Not to mention, a place for those who feel unwelcomed anywhere else to sit and enjoy the rock filled ambiance. I'd like the upstairs to have a cafe bar and window, while the rest of the cafe is riddled in seating arrangements for those to sit, relax, and enjoy the space. I would like to offer the possibility of "free refills" for those who choose to sit and enjoy the cafe to get their work done. With a piano located in the corner, local pianists can come and show off their skills to people who want to sit and enjoy the space for themselves. Here is how I'd like that to be pictured.
The Basement (My Personal Favorite)
The Basement is probably one of the most unique parts about Rotasu in comparison to any other shops. Previously as a manager there, this space was mainly just used as an area for workers to relax in after a long shift for the two years that I had been working here. If I were to take ownership, I would like the basement to include several things. First and foremost, A stage. Now yes, I'd like a stage outside as well of course. But what's two too many? Besides, the one indoors exists to create something special, something unique, something almost unfathomable. This is the place where all of the underground music scenes in Karakura may be born, escaping the world and putting heads together to let loose and let individuals express themselves in a way they may not be able to anywhere else. I would like the various bands and music clubs in Karakura to have a safe space to perform their setlists in a 'House Show' environment with enough space to truly embody a culturally accurate music scene. A place where mosh pits can exist, perhaps a small rave, or even a peaceful vibe where phone flashlights turn on and individuals bob their heads back and forth to a slow guitar song. In the back of the basement, I would like to have a recording studio for these said bands to record their music to post on onrain for all of the world to enjoy. The basement will be the heart of the music scene in Karakura, and where I'd like the creation of the record label "Rotasu Records" to be made.
The Exterior
The exterior is extremely important; it's what creates the welcoming environment I've spoken of previously. It's what draw's people into the location to take a peek at what valuables we have to offer. As for the building itself, I would like to maintain a similar exterior to what is currently seen to pay respects to the previous owner as the building style is one that I've grown to appreciate extremely. I would like the exterior to have a grand stage open for performances in Karakura as it currently does; perhaps just a bit larger. Whether it be music groups, theatric groups, clubs, or possibly even fashionistas, I would like the stage of Rotasu to be one that creates long lasting memories for players and citizens of the city alike. A stage that makes individuals shine to the public, a stage that creates a name. A stage that resembles the message that Rotasu is trying to portray: creativity. As for the patio, I would like there to be various cozy seating areas for those walking along the pier to sit and enjoy their cafe made drinks and string their guitars for the first time, again as it currently does. In addition, I would like to also maybe add an outside ordering area for those simply strolling to enjoy a sunny day to grab a quick beverage or an instrument before they dive in the sea.
What will you sell in your shop?:
As the owner of Rotasu Music, I would continue to sell what the store represents the most: Music related items whether it be hand held props or furniture items that allow for the player base to use to their preference depending on how they’d like to use it to further engross their roleplay experiences. Considering the shop already owns a variety of items, I would like to continue to sell the items already offered within the shop and sell them at a reasonable price so players with low incomes can still afford instruments and items that they desire while keeping more intricate instruments and other music related items at a higher price.
In addition, I would like to keep the integrity of the Music shop alive by keeping the Cafe located within the shop open as well and sell a variety of Cafe related beverages. This is simply due to the fact that coffee and drinks bring those around together and give players a viable reason to spend their time within the shop. There’s nothing that pairs quite as nicely as music and a cup of coffee. With that in mind, I’d like to continue the legacy of that warm atmosphere through melodic tunes and the scent of espresso in the air by selling Coffee and other coffee related items such as those that are necessary to have for an Espresso machine, beverages, and more. In addition, I plan to fund my own real finances to the shop as well by adding more to the stock based on player preference and customs that I already own. Some of my own items that I would like to sell in the shop include the DJ Soundboard “Mix-A-Lot” and the Syrup Bottle Stand “Flavorful Syrups” as well as other planned customs that may make their way into the game's resource files.
To further expand on these ideas, let's break it down to make things a little bit easier to read and understand what I'd like to sell. To make this list transparent, the majority of things on this list are already sold and offered at Rotasu while others are either customs I already own or things I'd like to sell in the future:
