Describe your activity on the server:
The recent months on SchoolRP has been my peak, though I have played SchoolRP for a while, around 4 years now. I have had quite a few breaks over my time on SchoolRP however it has all been due to real-life complications. The recent ~7 ish months I've been playing the server a ton, gaining new friends and trying out factions for the first time (Which has been amazing). I am available most of the day, however if I do have things planned I will have to prioritize that over the server.

I will NOT be available on weekdays from 8am -> ~3.30pm | CEST

What experiences do you have with roleplay?:
GangRP / DetailRP:
Starting off with SchoolRP, I started off loud, I learnt the rules pretty quick due to me gaining new friends almost instantly, getting taught how to roleplay correctly and how to associate and get new friends. However, soon after it got a tad boring as I was stuck in the same type of friend groups, it got really repetitive! So, after a few months of playing SRP, getting to know the community and more I got into GangRP, which is where I stayed a while. GangRP taught me a lot about the community, what types of players exist, how the server is "different" depending where you take your stance. After a while of GangRP'ing, my actions improved a ton, which is also why I got into DetailRP, adding appends upon appends into my roleplay situations. Now, after learning DetailRP that way I was really confident in it, I started joining different gangs, associating in events and more, which was amazing!

FamilyRP:
Personally, this is ONE of my favorite types of RP, familyRP. Basically, I've been in a few different families, which all has been amazing. I started off with not being in any family on SRP, however I joined almost as soon as I started with GangRP, I joined a family together with a few friends. It was amazing, I was able to show off my DetailRP, use it for situations and expand the RP situations because of it. To this day, I am in multiple families.

FactionRP:
FactionRP! Something I recently started getting into. In December of 2025 I made my application for Chef, which got accepted! Ever since I've hit my quota on time every single month. As I got accepted, I instantly started interacting with people I never had been talking to before. Honestly, was amazing starting out as a chef. Recently, I have been slacking off a little bit, however that's mostly due to school interfering with in-character school times. Which. . also adds onto why I'd love to join EMS; There isn't a specific ~2h time period where you have to work.

SportRP / JockRP:
Last but not least, sports, teams, whatever you wanna call it! I recently got into a team, about a month ago. I joined Baseball, which so far has been amazing, it truly has. There is a lot of different things I've both done and things I've learnt during the time in a team. This contributes to DetailRP again, during my time in the team, I've got to showcase my DetailRP and roleplay with other teams, which is where JockRP comes in!! This is amazing, in my opinion, honestly such an upgrade from GangRP. I've started to JockRP with my team, and other friends, where I mostly focus on having fun and having interesting roleplay situations.

What is your motivation for applying?
I am highly motivated to join EMS, though there are several reasons as to why. I love DetailRP, I do it on a daily basis with friends and strangers! This is where I believe my favorite part of EMS would come in, doing the actual roleplay with patients and co-workers. Over my years of playing SchoolRP, I have been to the hospital a ton of times. Most of the times, I've been interested in the roleplay they've done, the DetailRP and how the different EMS workers interacts with not only others, but their co-workers as well. Another primary reason as to why I'd love to join is the amount of friends in EMS that's been encouraging me to apply for the faction, which also makes me believe I'd be a good fit. I've been wanting to apply for EMS for quite a while now, however I've been waiting for the right 'moment' to do it, where I believe it is now!

Which role are you applying for?
I will be applying for Doctor.

What knowledge do you have of the roles within the Hospital Faction?
Within the hospital faction is several different roles, they all have different task, yet most of them serves a similar purpose of helping the patients in different ways. Some of the roles are Doctor, Paramedic, Psychiatrist, Deputy Director and Director. Those are the ones I believe are the most important for the hospital to be functional and running well. There are though different roles that has an impact on the hospital!
DoctorPsychiatristParamedicDeputy DirectorDirector
Doctors have several different responsibilities, however there are some things that doctors does more often than others. Doctors mostly do physical treatment, this includes doing X-rays, surgeries, check-ups, casts, MRI, prosthetics or even small wounds and cuts. Doctors may also give out prescriptions, along with medications in the pharmacy!A psychiatrist mostly focuses on doing the mental side of patients, their well-being, therapy sessions, helping out with PTSD, anxiety, panic attacks and a ton more. Psychiatrists can also do physical treatment, yet they tend to stay on the smaller side like small cuts, bruises and IV's, the more basic level of treatments. They can also give out medications!A paramedic has several different responsibilities that is pretty similar to doctors, yet they also have the ability to do some of the psychiatrist stuff! Such as helping with panic attacks if needed and no one else is around. A paramedic is able to go on patrol with or without KPD, along with answering 110 calls if a patient needs transportation with an ambulance.A deputy-director does several different things in the hospital, they can work along-side higher-ups, however they also have to treat patients if it's needed. A deputy-director can help the director in decisions, or take his place in incidents if needed. The deputy director can also get CCTV footage from the hospital. A deputy-director can also give out medications.A director's role in the hospital is to oversee the staff, the employees. The director can handle the bigger, major incidents where it can get really messy. The director can sometimes get help from the deputy-director to help in decisions and possibly help if the director isn't available in the moment. The director can also treat patients. They can also give out medications!

Do you acknowledge that if training is held whilst you are online, you are expected to attend or you will be punished?
Yes, I do acknowledge the fact and I believe it's completely reasonable.

In-Character (IC) Section
SECTION 1: PERSONAL DETAILS

Character’s Full Name:

Looked up at the interviewer, her face stress-free, almost as if she knew she would nail the questions without any problems. As the interviewer finished their question, she spoke up with a confident tone. The words flowing out of her mouth like water.
" Xi Shiyu is my name, I must give you a thank you for having me here today. I appreciate you taking your time to listen to me this wonderful day. "
Xi Shiyu ended the sentence with a polite nod towards the interviewer, the smile on her face blending in, almost as if it was a part of her natural look.

Character’s Gender and Pronouns:
She tilted her head slightly, moving her hands to neatly lay in her lap. Xi Shiyu fixed her posture, leaning back onto the chair behind her to assist with holding her back straight. Xi Shiyu indeed had an amazing posture, she didn't have to think about holding her back straight at all. It was muscle memory!
" I'm a female, I prefer the pronouns she/her. Anything works though, as long as I am not called he/him, as I find that really un-polite. "
Xi Shiyu moved her hands onto the table in front of her, her hands holding onto each other. Her thumb caressing the piece of jewelry on her finger.

Character’s Age (if accepted):
Xi Shiyu tilted her head once again, her mouth gathering the words to soon speak, her words coming out flawlessly with a very confident tone.
" I am thirty two years old, starting to get a tad old in my opinion. . I do feel pretty young still! Hopefully my young spirit will live with me forever. "
That same old smile remained on her face, yet she wasn't smiling overly much! Her cheeks rested well with a tad of joy in them.

Character’s Academic Background:
Xi Shiyu checked the clock on her wrist, turning it away from herself once again before putting her hands down onto the table again. Her face beaming with joy, Shiyu was finally gonna be able to tell the interviewer of her amazing time in school.
" In my opinion, this is my favorite part. School was a tad stressful for me, however it was amazing in the end. I got out of high-school with top grades, every single one of them being the highest possible, gosh I was happy back then seeing I ended up with those grades. . Anyways, I'll get back on track! After getting out of high-school, I applied for the same medical school as my brother, Xi Ya-Ting. The school is called Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. A little while of waiting, and I got my acceptance letter! But it didn't stop there. I kept my studies, and physical work. . And at the end, I graduated university with my medical license. My scores almost perfect!
As Xi Shiyu finished speaking, her face was still beaming with joy, whilst still remaining professional! She really did seem happy about her school years. Almost as if it was something she would tell her future children.

Character’s Nationality:
Xi Shiyu rose her eyebrows, her hands moving from the table onto her legs. Her fingers tapping her legs softly and repeatedly. She looked up at the interviewer, her eyes glancing at their face.
" Oh! I'm from China, Shanghai. I loved it back there, it was amazing. However, I might be getting a bit too attached to Karakura. . It's really pretty here, almost better than in my home town! "
Xi Shiyu let out a small giggle, which quickly died down. Trying to remain professional for the sake of the interview. Yet, she couldn't help but leave a smile on her face, showing the honesty and sweetness of her words!

Character’s Marital Status:
Xi Shiyu sucked in on her cheeks lightly, not really noticeable from the interviewer. Her smile died down to somewhat of a slight frown, taking a deep breath before speaking up
" Sadly, I am still single. . The world hasn't given me too many chances to experience the full reality of love. The time will come soon though, I'm sure of it! "
The last few words of her sentence seemed to have a slight bit of joy, trying to put some happiness into them. She was hopeful, she just didn't know when the time was!

Character’s Religious Denomination:
Xi Shiyu looked around the office, her eyes glancing over each furniture piece and items scattered around. Her eyes locking onto the interviewer as they began so speak up.
" I'm a Christian, I do not mention my religion often at all, only when known people ask me. "
Xi Shiyu let out a slight gulp! Unsure if that last sentence was something to leave in or not.

Character’s Spoken Languages:
Xi Shiyu let the smile return to her face, the smile fading in on her cheeks and then onto her eyes. Her eyes seeming to glimmer as she spoke about her loving languages.
" Oh! I speak Japanese, and Mandarin! Japanese is a language I recently learned, a few years ago to have an estimate! Mandarin is the language I grew up with, I tend to try and speak it occasionally though, I don't want to forget about it too much . . Not speaking a language for a while causes you to forget how to speak it fluently. However, I can assure you mandarin will stay out of public spaces, I know it can be tough listening to a language you don't personally understand. "
Xi Shiyu let out a respectful nod towards the interviewer, her eyes closing for the moment of the nod. Her hands moving to rest in her lap. Awaiting the next question of the interviewer, if it wasn't already done!

Character Backstory (Optional):
Xi Shiyu was born in China, Shanghai. She was born in a family of four total family members, including her! She family consisted of her father, mother, brother who is called Xi Ya-Ting, and herself, Xi Shiyu! Xi Shiyu was born last in the family, her brother being fourteen years older than her. As she grew up, her life seemed ordinary, yet there was one slight difference compared to other families. Xi Shiyu's family was more on the stricter side! Her mother, along with her father wanted her to be perfect, they wanted her to grow up with perfect grades and get into the best medical school in China. Well! Starting off with her high-school life, Xi Shiyu was always pressured to have the best grades possible. She couldn't have anything under the max grades, if so, her social life got harder, due to her having to study more and more. Even though Xi Shiyu was pressured each exam, she managed to do them flawlessly, each exam passing by as if she was driving a supercar on a highway. Xi Shiyu had always looked up to her brother, Xi Ya-Ting. Xi Shiyu could vent to Xi Ya-Ting about pretty much anything, their bond being really strong! Her brother, along with her parents demands, made Xi Shiyu land in the same path as her brother, she had to go to medical school and get an amazing salary! High School flew by for Xi Shiyu, getting out of school with top grades, being one of the best students in the school! Xi Shiyu sent in her letter to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, praying she got into the university, her life dependent on it! After weeks of anxiously checking the post-office for acceptance letters, she finally got a reply. She brought the letter home and sat down in her room, opening the letter with shaking hands. And there it was, the letter reading out that she was accepted into Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine! Xi Shiyu had an amazing university life, filled of friends and studies, even though she might not have been the most social person! She studied heavily, along with practicing and mental exercises. After years of university, she passed! Finally getting told she had passed university, she got handed her medical license. Soon after, she called up her brother, telling her about how she had passed, how her life would be perfect seeing her career would be amazing! Xi Shiyu honestly thought a good career was the key to happiness and a perfect life! Xi Shiyu soon started working in a hospial of her home city, Shanghai. Xi Ya-Ting offered her a plane ticket to Japan, Karakura. Giving her a chance to settle down in Karakura, encouraging her to get an interview at Karakura's hospital!

SECTION 2: MEDICAL HISTORY
What is your character’s medical speciality? Why did they choose this focus?

Her specialty would be General Surgery! Xi Shiyu has always been curious and interested in how the human works, how everything fits together and how you operate on one. She knows very well that her specialty is General Surgery, she prefers this over anything else, even though she was able to do other things! Xi Shiyu had never been interested in things such as brain surgery, she always thought she would've been way too nervous to perform on such part of the human body. She knows she could pull anything off within General Surgery, her hands being steady as ever, her knowledge being the best possible.

Does your character have any work experience in medical positions?
Right as Xi Shiyu got her medical license, she managed to get a job at a hospital in Shanghai. As a doctor! She was what you would call 'perfect', she was neat and professional. Even playful at times. After Xi Shiyu had worked at the hospital in Shanghai for a couple of years, her brother Xi Ya-Ting called her, offering her a plane ticket to Japan, Karakura. Praising how amazing it was there, how they finally could re-unite with each other and strengthen their bond, just like they were in their teen-days. Xi Shiyu accepted the offer, moving off to Japan, Karakura with a load of money from her previous job, soon after getting an interview at the hospital of Karakura.

SECTION 3: CHARACTER KNOWLEDGE
Describe your character; how do they look, what makes them unique? How would they be perceived by others?

1776346165783.png

Xi Shiyu looks like an ordinary person from China, however her personality and the way she does things is a completely different story. Xi Shiyu stands at 5'4", which corresponds to ~163cm. You almost never saw her slack off, her posture is almost always straight, as she had been taught to have a good posture ever since she was a child. Xi Shiyu's natural hair color was black, sometimes adding in a tad of color at times, yet it was really rare! Her skin seemed to be really plain, no tattoos what-so-ever in sight. Her build was quite athletic, seeming as if she worked on keeping herself in shape, maybe occasional running? Going to the gym? Who knows! Except for her of course. Even though Xi Shiyu was quite short compared to the average in the world, she stood her ground. She did not disappoint when it came to her looks. Not a single comment could throw her off her feet.

Xi Shiyu mostly keeps to herself, she does not interact with most of the people in her sight, unless she's really in the mood to socialize. Yet! When Xi Shiyu is met, her tone could be described as warm, welcoming and a hint of happiness. She really did love interacting with the right people, even if she doesn't go up to people herself often. She's really sweet on the outside, and especially on the inside, very welcoming to others! Xi Shiyu is quite open to other people, yet she always tries to keep her own family matter away from other people. Xi Shiyu does the things she must, even though she dislikes it, yet she does not seem to complain about any of it.

As Xi Shiyu is met in the hospital, her tone is always going to be met as welcoming maybe even a tad of happiness, depending on the situation. Even though that factor is almost always met, her tone has a hint of professionalism in it, proving she's there to do her job, and not to chat. In terms of uniqueness, Xi Shiyu would be different due to her way of talking to others, her switch-ups, her professionalism and her knowledge.

How does your character act around the hospital?
Xi Shiyu always attempts to remain professional around the hospital, especially during work hours. During her last job at a hospital in Shanghai, China, she remained calm during major incidents, such as a load of patients or an emergency situation. During such incidents, she would never bring humor or laugh into it, she would remain strictly professional as she believe it's utterly rude to be anything other than such. However! During less-heavily impacted times, such as having no patients or people around in the lobby, she could, and probably would, try to strike up a conversation with one of her co-workers, and if not, then she'd keep to herself, trying to mind her own business. Xi Shiyu is heavily dependent on her mood though! If her day has been going horrible, she would most likely be more on the quiet side.

During off-duty times, Xi Shiyu's style of interaction and her actions would be very different! Her mood switches to the more happier side, even though she loves the hospital, and helping patients, she loves her free time as well. If a load of patients comes in during Xi Shiyu's off-duty time, she would most likely come back and help them, since her #1 priority will always be helping others out. She puts other people above herself really often!

Does your character function better on their own or with others?
Xi Shiyu, just like many others out in the world, works best in a team. A quote Xi Shiyu has brought with her throughout the duration of her life, "Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much", and she wishes to live on with it. Xi Shiyu loves meeting new people, yet there are times she possibly would want to be alone at, it all being dependent on how her mood is. Yet! During work hours Xi Shiyu would always greet and work professionally. The reasoning as to why Xi Shiyu loves meeting new people, and even talking to anyone out there, is due to her childhood. Xi Shiyu wasn't really bullied, at all! She might've been called a 'nerd' at times, yet that was nothing she took another glance at, she had more than enough family and friends who would be with her. Even though Xi Shiyu currently has had and what it looks of right now, will, greet people and would want to work in a team, that might change in the future! Another sentence she brings with herself and keeps in mind is "You never know what awaits you in the future." which references that anything could happen! Good or bad.

Firstly, thank you for applying to the Hospital Faction, and we appreciate your interest. However, after discussing your application with the higher-ups, we have unfortunately decided to deny your application this time around as we feel other applications stood out more.

Nonetheless, we encourage you to keep an eye on the Karakura Emergency #announcements channel for future application waves, and to re-apply at a later date if you're still interested.
