Adding Rope & Blindfold for Realistic Kidnapping

What's your Minecraft Username?: SoSleepyHm
What's the title of your suggestion?: Adding Rope & Blindfold for Realistic Kidnapping

What's your suggestion?:
Every time I see someone get kidnapped, the realistic aspect of it is somewhat lost. Even if actions are used to ensure they can’t communicate ICly, they can still see OOCLy, so it’s not a surprise for them OOCly.

My suggestion is to add ROPE and BLINDFOLD.

-》ROPE [Major permission needed to use this]

- Muggable?

You can mug this if it is used against you.

- How will it work?
You should be able to use it on someone, and they should have the ability to struggle free through actions.
At least a durability of 200 is needed, and the one who is tied must roll according to the rules. Once their roll exceeds 200, they should be considered free from the rope.

- Who can buy and use it?
Only organized gangs should be allowed to buy and use this.

- How expensive is it?
150k

-》BLINDFOLD [AT LEAST minor permission needed to use this]

- Muggable?

You can mug this if it is used against you.

- How will it work?
When worn, a blindness effect should be applied. The person wearing it shouldn’t be able to see either ICly or OOCly (this would make it more realistic).
When a blindfold is used, the person wearing it can only attack within a render distance of 2 blocks, and their roll will decrease by 20% each turn (since they can’t see).

Example:
In Turn 1, if their roll is 100, then in Turn 2, if they still haven’t removed the blindfold, their roll will drop to 80.
You can use your turn to remove the blindfold. Once it is removed, the roll returns to normal.

- Who can buy and use it?
Both street gangs and organized gangs are allowed to buy and use this.

- How expensive is it?
200k

How will this benefit the server and community?:
1)Fairer interactions:
Blindfold removes the OOC vision advantage, so kidnapped players can’t unintentionally meta know what’s happening. This keeps situations fair for both sides.

2)More engaging RP scenarios:
Kidnappings, interrogations, and rescues become more detailed and interesting instead of short and predictable.

3)Limiting usage to gangs gives them more unique tools and purpose, encouraging organized RP and faction activity.

I don't know about ropes, but blindfolds exist as a legal purchase item (Blindfold "Suikawari")... just not with the feature that they can't see anything.
I never engage in CrimeRP, so I admit, I have no expertise if this suggestion is awesome.

I'm 99% sure you need OOC consent to blind or restrain someone during a kidnapping or well in general.

One of these items already exists and the other has no need to be codified into the game with a model. The function is incredibly niche and by implementing them into the pack as a proper item, it would imply that you can use them without restrictions or at least in a far more liberal manner than the concepts are used for as of current, which is CONSENTED to scenarios only. This is left better off as an ItemRP'd feature for CrimeRP anyhow, kidnappings are already an underutilised aspect of CrimeRP and requiring items to undertake a previously barrier-less scenario for fun that has to be consented to anyhow is just unnecessary.

Frankly, one of the last things I want to see is new players running around with a rope item acting to restrain people, though I do admit the idea of one using it to 'lasso' people would be funny. Unfortunately, humourous one off scenarios don't justify the addition to me in any sense of the word.

Short version: What we have right now is better and infinitely harder to misuse.

There are some layers. First and foremost... The damn bad apples of the community that will use this for things other than the original intention. I prefer to prevent it rather than hear stories/rumors of it happening. Also, maybe I'm the only one here, but... I don't feel like putting a rope as a thing that only organized gang members can have...? My character owns a boat, literally needs a rope to keep the boat at the pier, I understand that the 'main' reason this rope would be used for is for CrimeRP, but.... Same as the Wrench or the Baseball, your character can use it for literally anything, rather than just crime. I don't know... I just can't see a way to make it work properly in SRP, I do like it because it reminds me of other roleplay experiences where this is a thing (Kidnapping with a blindfold and not being able to see oocly), but again... The bad apples.... Yeah.....

Oh yeah also...... Someone who is involved in CrimeRP, confirm to me if you really need consent for something like kidnapping.... I find it humorous that you gotta be asking "Do you consent to being kidnapped?" — I don't want to feel disappointed, please. This sounds silly lol

you do not need OOC consent to kidnap someone - However blindfolding them or restraining them does require OOC consent.
