Describe your activity on the server:
To describe it perfectly, I’d say “active.”. I’m on every day or every second day, playing this or that character! I’d say I sometimes also play when I “have to” (quota wise!), but mostly whenever I want to — which happens to be basically every day unless I’m busy. I’m starting a part-time job soon until later on, when I’m able to apply for a job I genuinely-ish want..! But that doesn’t affect my activity much, as it’s in the morning/noon, not when I’m usually online: during the evening/night. Just #sidefact.

Anyway though! Even when I feel demotivated, right? I’d still say I play every third or fourth day, so!! Again, I’d say I’m pretty active — 8/10!

AND! In general.. which I’m not gonna go into crazy detail in, as I think the main focus of the question is the actual current ACTIVITY of playing, but! I think it’s still helpful to understand someone’s experience on SRP and their activity throughout their entire timeline of being a part of it. So! Here we go:

I’ve tabbed into GangRP just for a tiny bit a long while ago.. nothing much happened, so I can’t really tell whether I actually enjoyed it or not, but I know that now I much rather prefer..

Factions. I WAS in EMS until recently (April 9th), as I decided to quit because it had been a lonnngg while since I joined, and it recently lost its spark for me. So, this wave is the perfect opportunity for something NEW.

Then there’s faculty! I am currently a Teacher — to be specific, the HD of P.A. I joined a little over a year ago now, I believe, and just recently.. -ish, got promoted to HD, which I’m still super excited about. Faculty has…… a lot to talk about. I still don’t believe factions are very comparable. It’s like comparing apples to oranges.

But to sum it up, EMS was definitely more of a family, with a lot of detailRP and silly events, while faculty is rather silly itself in a completely different way, and rather.. colleagues-athmospehre. . Not serious, but not.. super-close, if that makes sense. . Anyway! Still, having the perspective of a teacher, and seeing students grow from complete greenies to people I recognize in every class, is honestly amazing.

Enough of that! There's also Teams. Yes! I have some experience! I WAS in college volleyball, females. It was.. good. It was more TeamRP/plugin-focused, and mostly fun. However, NOW I’m currently in HS cheer, as of recently, so.. yeah. Lots of RivalryRP, JockRP, TeamRP, and practices to come.. you get it! Even MORE fun x.

What else isss there. . . Roles? I mean, it’s cliché, but through all of this I’ve obviously learned and grown into many different perspectives. Not only from playing completely different characters personality wise, but also because of these roles themselves. From dog, to adult, to basically every grade possible, to faction roles — it really expands your roleplay range a lot, I believe.

1779501639090.png

I would like to add that my current roles,
..which are to show organised:

AhNoDetailRP: [Adult] Yuzuru Xueyan | [Dog] Wawawa Mayumi
AhMaybeDetailRP: [Teacher][HD] Nijat Dayang | [Grade-12] Tsuruhime Khang
AhIdkDetailRP: [Grade-11][Cheerleader] Azariah Uchenna | [Grade-12] Orasa Dō-Yoon
AhYesDetailRP: [College](B) Lyra Yoo | [Grade-7] Gyun Baek | [Grade-12] ??? (Mmesoma Achebe)
If I get accepted, I THINK it needs to be moved like this, but if not, i'd like for it to BE like this:
[Lawyer] Mmesoma Achebe | [College](B) Lyra Yoo | [Grade-7] Gyun Baek!

would not affect my activity for this role. Might sound random, but I feel like I should add that, in-case that’s a .. factor. I mean, it’s not “a lot,” but still — HS cheer and HD of the silliest department? It’s definitely something! But it’s fun, and I seem to balance it well, which I’m glad I do. Plus, I’ve balanced similar amounts (w/ EMS) of responsibilities before, so I know what I can handle.

。•┈꒰ა ♡ ໒꒱┈•。

I think part of why I’ve recently lost its spark from EMS is because, after being there for years, basically everyone of the people I was close, or then got close to ended up leaving, and It got a.. little exhausting thinking which new friend of which wave is gonna be the next… AND the style of RP itself became a little.. too repetitive for me personally, after that long time of being a part of it all. Lawyer.. RP (?) feels a lot more free and varied, as the focus is more on what’s being said and done rather than almost ONLY detailRP itself, which is still something I really enjoy. So honestly, I think this role would keep me even more motivated and engaged overall !!

What position are you applying for?:
Lawyer, defence attorney to be specific! I think.

What is your motivation for applying?:
Hmmm, okayyyyy. Honestly, I’d be lying if I said this wasn’t at least partly a spontaneous decision.. buuuut! It’s also not the first time I’ve thought about it, so that doesn’t make me any less serious about applying. If anything, the more I thought about the announcement and the open positions, the more interested and excited I became. My actual motivation really increased after talking to a friend who suggested that the lawyer role would suit me the most. The more I thought about it, the more it honestly made sense. I genuinely enjoy logical thinking and a lot of the things this role requires: critical thinking, strategic planning, organisation, documentation, ****ysing situations.. I genuinely love that kind of stuff. I LIVE for it: So, simply put: my motivation comes from the fact that this role aligns very well with both my interests and my skills, which is why I really want to give it a try!

Do you have an understanding of Karakura’s laws & Constitutional rights?:
YES. I do have an understanding of Karakura’s laws and Constitutional rights.. The longer I wait for the 23rd to come by, the more confident I feel about them already. #Excited.

What are your goals for being in Government Faction?:
What a good question.. The first goal that comes to mind would definitely be becoming a known, respected, and reliable lawyer for clients/victims. Cliché, I know.. but it genuinely is one of my goals. Another goal is getting back into DetailRP. I haven’t done much actual DetailRP lately, which is ironic considering I’m known as “detail”.. BUT! Maybe leaving EMS made me realize how much I missed it. Honestly, I’m even more excited for the potential lawyer role because it offers more variety in DetailRP instead of repeating similar procedures with slight differences in wording, like previously mentioned. But back on topic! Another goal would probably be contributing and actually doing something meaningful (again). I’m not gonna become the Mayor or anything, but having responsibility, especially in situations that can affect a character’s life and story, is something I really (still) value! It’s a role that carries importance, and I’d like to respect that responsibility while hopefully contributing ideas and making a positive impact where I can. Overall, I want to grow, create meaningful RP, and become someone players can rely on icly !!!

In your own words, describe the different roles of the Government Faction:
Governor: To sum it up, you could say the governor does the “side-tasks,” or “paperwork.” What do I mean by that? Nothing less important, no! But rather: Most people who think of Town Hall immediately think of trials, right? Where governors are also present and help keep things IN order by asking this and that person to the stand, starting/ending things, documenting it all, etc. Buuuut, outside of trials, governors have a variety of other actual/proper tasks, such as selling/assigning IDs, handling adoptions, and inspections, and even survey the public in general….!!

꒰ა ♡ ໒꒱
Judge: Judges have that too! Less, but they do hold the job to officiate marriages, file ROs, approve adoptions too, and lastly issue warrants. But back to generally — I think judge is.. a role that gets viewed as the “highest” a lot of the time. But it’s “just” another role, like governor and lawyer! I do understand that point of view though, as the judge is the one with the verdict.. you know, the honor.. a judge is someone with legal authority, specifically in trials, yes. But in my words: There, they listen to all the things lawyers and witnesses have to say about the (potential) charges, observe evidence submissions, and eventually come up with a verdict, like said. And I’d say they also.. keep everything in order during a hearing.

꒰ა ♡ ໒꒱
Lawyer: There’s two types (within KA): defence attorneys and prosecutors! One general point though — lawyers are the ones representing either side of a case involving someone facing charges, to put it simply. Specifically!: A defence attorney would be the one who’d, like it says, DEFEND the person, using evidence, logical thinking skills, questioning, and more to argue why their client may be innocent/not fully guilty. Meanwhile, the prosecutor would instead aim to prove the accused person IS guilty by also using evidence, witnesses, and arguments to support the charges against them.

I’d also say lawyers are probably one of the most communication-heavy roles in government overall, considering a lot of the role revolves around arguing points, discussions with clients and overall convincing the judge through what’s said and presented during trials. Lots of yap.

Oh, and they can also file RO’s. And obviously all the preparing it takes FOR whatever trial, including the calls, meetings, and client lists. Pretty cool, right? I know, that’s why I’m here! >_<

꒰ა ♡ ໒꒱
Well, and then there’s two more roles. They aren’t application-able buttt, still, a role of the faction. SO, definitely worth mentioning!

However, I’m not 100% what these two roles ACTUALLY do, but, this is just what seems plausible to me — what I think!

Deputy-Mayor: Deputy-mayor is sort of the “support” role to the mayor! They help manage things within the faction itself, assist with events/tasks, and overall help keep things organised and running smoothly behind the scenes. #Supervising. From what I know/understand, they’d also step in whenever needed and help oversee things if the mayor is unavailable. Basically — leadership, but more assisting/supportive leadership rather than being the main face of the faction. Like.. if compared to school, this would be the Vice-Principal, I guess..

꒰ა ♡ ໒꒱
Mayor: While the mayor would be the Principal then.. obviously. Meaning, the mayor is pretty much the head of the faction overall, and likely the role people think of first when hearing “government.” They oversee the faction as a whole, make mayor (haha, because ‘major’. Get it?.. K, sorry.) decisions, choose/help direct where the goverment is going, and keep everything functioning properly. I’d also say they represent the faction publicly, whether that’s through actual announcements, events, or generally ‘interacting’ with the community. Basically: making sure everything doesn’t explode ..! . . Again?

Do you acknowledge that upon being accepted you can be subject to removal at any given time?:
Yes

Have you read & agreed to follow the Government Faction rules?:
Yes & yes

Mx. “???”:
‘What is your full name?’

Mx. “???”:
A slight smug smirk appeared on her face, showcasing her shiny white teeth just by a little before she started to speak up: “My name is Mmesoma Achebe. Even though.., technically, my full-full name would be Mmesomachukwu Ijeoma Achebe. Nice to meet you!”
Mx. “???”:
‘Your Preferred title? Mr., Mrs., etc.!’

Mx. Achebe:
“Definitely Ms.” She answered, before adding on: “So; Ms. Achebe! But I.. definitely wouldn’t mind being called by my first name, because it’s- .. well. Pretty.” I mean.. Fair enough.
Mx. “???”:
‘What is your current age?’

Ms. Achebe:
Mmesoma let out a short ‘hmm’ sound along with a rather sceptical expression forming, questioning the choice to ask a lady her age? Well, it is for a job, so.. “I’m currently twenty-six years. So young..”
Mx. “???”:
‘I see. And.. your D.O.B?’

Ms. Achebe:
“My date of birth is the 29th. In March, 2000.” She elegantly but quickly twirled a strand of hair with her right pointer finger as she spoke, still showing 100% focus to the ‘interviewer’. “Which also makes me an Aries, which is the element of fire. My Chinese zodiac would be Dragon.. also pretty cool. Oh, and therefore my life path is seven, which is so accurate. And, oh my god, y’know: my birth number is karma-heavy, right? Which - everything already. But my therefore master number, eleven, is associated with-. . . sssomeething that’s for another time to talk about..! Hah..” She said, with a straight face till.. that.. Everyone has their interests, righhttt…?
Mx. “???”:
‘I-.. Um. Anyway, tell me about your academic background, please.’

Ms. Achebe:
After that, she threw her left leg over the right, leaning slightly back but straight enough to seem.. still professional instead of over-confident. “So, after the normal school stuff in my hometown, I moved to Lagos for a.. let’s say continuation of school, so I could reach university level. Which I did. I got into Hiroshima University in Hiroshima, Japan, where I got my Bachelor of Laws (LLB), and later my Master of Laws (LLM). After that, getting my degree in law and all, I went around for a while, working some law-related jobs before coming here with- to my family.” Mmesoma formed a smile, gentle but clearly proud of what she’s achieved so far!
Mx. “???”:
‘Nice. What about.. work. Any work experience?’

Ms. Achebe:
Mmesoma sat up even more straight, side-eyeing the surroundings of the room for a moment, thinking. “Er, . .” - “none?-“ She waved her hand in the air, denying her own answer just as she said it. Moving her leg down as well. “Well, that’s a lie. I did work, like I had just said.. I have work experience in a ton of jobs, actually. Server, .. counsellor.. person, babysitter, .. and much more. But those were all during my school time.. and as for.. in an actual law firm? Well. No. Not exactly, no.” Awkwardddd… Well, they should be honored that this was her first-location to be an actual lawyer!… maybe. “I did some gigs, gave a lot of advice.. here and there, helped out at a Programme for women with my degree for a while.. long story, but um.. not an actual lawyer job, no. But that’s exactly why I’m here - to get that kind of work experience, achieve my dream, y’know!.. - as my dream is to be a lawyer,.. obviously.” She visibly debated for a moment, whether to add more or not.. she didn’t.
Mx. “???”:
‘Okay, okay. What’s your nationality & birth location?’

Ms. Achebe:
Mmesoma moved her left hand on to the chair’s armrest, while her right rested on her lap. “Oh, yeah. I was born and raised in Ibeno, N**eria - And so are my parents, which makes my ethnicity.. 100% N**eria, from southeasternnn… So, the same goes for my nationality, Yah.” ^_^”
Mx. “???”:
‘Uh-huh! Next question.. What about your criminal record?’

Ms. Achebe:
She raised an eyebrow, wondering of the possibilities of other applicants'.. answers. “I do not have any sort of Criminal record.” Mmesoma said calmly, shaking her head slowly. Yay!
Mx. “???”:
‘What makes you a good candidate for this job?’

Ms. Achebe:
Ouhhh..” was quietly heard from her, what an easily expected question.. right, mao?
“Uhm. A lot, I believe.” Mmesoma visibly quickly sorted her thoughts, as if she was forming words within sentences in god speed inside that head of hers. “- I’m sure you will- and/or have gotten a lot of great candidates, especially ones with a more attractive work experience sheet, but.” As she kept talking, you’d realise her intense focus while she spoke, as if she was in a debate and winning. Or was she? “I can assure you I’m a strong candidate as I believe I possess the skills expected in every category relevant to this role.” - “From social skills and legal knowledge to the specific qualities that help make a good lawyer, I believe I meet many of those expectations. .” Mmesoma quietly cleared her throat before continuing. “I believe I would be a good candidate because of my strengths in areas such as organization and documentation, maintaining activity and consistency, confidence, observation skills, strategic thinking, adaptability, and learning quickly. I also take pride in my academic achievements, as in my degrees and also my ability to stay committed to my responsibilities.” She let out a sigh, “I understand those are strong statements, and I do not mean them arrogantly. I know my value and capabilities, but: I’m not perfect. I believe no one is. Me- especially in the sense of being the ‘perfect’ lawyer, I’m basically a rookie as you know. I still have much to learn, and I recognize that growth is part of becoming a better lawyer. Additionally, because, like I said, I still do have law-related jobs as an experience so I’ve been exposed to law-questions, documentations, sorting things out the past few months through and through.. even if I haven’t worked as an actual lawyer yet.” She took a breath.. gosh.. “However, I believe confidence in my abilities is important, and I am confident that I have the foundation, dedication, and mindset needed for this opportunity. I am ready for this.” A proud smile grew on her face, teehe. “Oh, and.. I know it can get stressful. Honestly, every job can be stressful. But something else that I believe makes me a good candidate is that I handle stress well, and properly. In fact, I enjoy having responsibilities, partly because it gives me opportunities to show reliability and manage different tasks. Not literally all at once, of course.. I just.. don’t really mind stress. Sometimes I even enjoy it a little. Is that weird?” Mmesoma carefully cleared her throat again, while adjusting her outfit where no adjusting was needed..
