Why are Teachers so important to SchoolRP?:
Teachers are important to SRP because they are the reason as to why SchoolRP can be a school. Without teachers it just wouldn't make sense for the server to be labelled as a SchoolRP if there really wasn't anyone to roleplay any sort of school faculty. Another reason as to why Teachers are important to SRP is they are the reason as to why other players characters developped the way they did. Learning the history of the world and Karakura, learning how to properly write and form stories, to doing proper math and how to properly keep their body healthy and in shape.

SRP relies on the school roleplay. It was the community built itself off of. With many different players roleplaying as teachers they get introduced to a dynamic and realistic learning environment, but also a fun one. Teachers help create interactions and experiences that many players would not otherwise have. They give students a reason to attend classes, participate in events, and further develop their characters.

Do you acknowledge that if you are inactive you may lose your role?: Yes
Do you agree to undergo teacher training if your application is successful?: Yes
What is your motivation for becoming a Teacher?: I've been on and off SRP for quite a while. My first time I joined around 2022. Since then I've only really gotten involved in CrimeRP and GangRP. I have not once turned an eye towards any other sort of faction nor did I believe I had the abilities to even apply for any faction. Now, over the course of many years and having friends across different factions, I was able to convince myself to finally apply for one. I chose the teacher faction as one of the first few factions because it has always made be interested how it feels to teach a bunch of other players and show an entirely different course of roleplay. I also had a few friends that were teachers and they amazed me with how creative they were with it.

I believe that this may be a good step out of the same 'ole CrimeRP / GangRP life and into a fresh, better one.

In-Character Section

What's your character's full name?: Ujie Beaumont Segoe
What is your character's age?: 32
What is your preferred subject to teach?: Physical Education
Describe your character:

Ujie Beaumont Segoe stands at 5'11" with pale skin, white hair, and striking blue eyes that rarely seem to show much emotion. His appearance is neat and well-kept. At a glance he appears approachable enough, but there is something about him, as if his mind is always focused on something far more important than the conversation infront of him.

Despite his appearance he has a boisterous personality, like that of a dog. He is often seen joking around with friends, pulling harmless gags, or intentionally making himself the center of a joke just to get a laugh out of those around him. Ujie enjoys keeping conversations lighthearted and rarely takes himself too seriously. Beneath all the silly and goofiness that surrounds him, he is truly a man that values others and wanting to make sure everyone smiles.

Roleplay Scenarios

A student in class is struggling to understand the content, what would your character do?:
Ujie was teaching a lesson on proper volleyball techniques when he noticed a student standing off to the side, clearly having trouble serving the ball over the net. While the rest of the class continued practicing, he walked over to the student and knelt slightly to meet them at eye level.

"Are you having some trouble serving, [Student Name]?" he said with a soft smile on his face. Upon the student confessing that they are indeed having trouble, Ujie would demonstrate how to properly serve the ball. He wants everyone in his class to try their best and come to him if they have issues regarding the activity. Whether it be not understanding the assignment clearly or being unable to participate, he will always come to some sort of compromise to make sure no one feels left out.

A student is continuously being disruptive in class, talking out of turn, and making jokes with classmates. What would your character do?:
Ujie was explaining the importancy of warming up before a game or a workout when a student kept interrupting him and disturbing the class. He simply paused and hoped that the student would calm themselves down.

"I know you guys don't think that P.E. is important, but we we're almost done!" he said with a chuckle.

If the student kept disrupting the lesson, he would bring his tone down to a serious level.

"I've given you a chance. Please calm yourself, [Student Name]. Allow me to finish up and you will have your free time."

He'd remain calm throughout the situation wanting to avoid unnecessary conflict. Ujie aims to have his classes be tame with no sort of violence so that everyone can enjoy and have a fun time.

Provide at least 2 interactive class ideas related to your preferred subject:
Activity Reflection
Students would be placed into small groups and assigned a physical activity. Their task would be to talk about why this activity is good for you. The purpose is to focus on confidence, teamwork, and a deeper understanding of the physical activity being taught.

Mind & Body
students go through basic exercises like yoga poses, light cardio, and cooldown breathing. The purpose of this is to focus on flexibility, posture, balance, and stress control.
