Describe your activity:
I've been watching SRP grow since 2024 and merely late 2025 have i actually started to try it for myself, although i only started actively playing and trying to roleplay for myself in late 2026. When i first started i was still learning how roleplay worked and was experimenting with it in different ways of interacting with others. Trying to give every character their own flaws.
Since early 2026, I had primarily been involved with GangRP, as i found it to be one of the more straightforward forms of roleplay to get into. Over time, i started feeling the need to branch out and explore different types of roleplay. One way was to find it in a passion i held being EMS. It let me express my interest and share it with others. As i stayed for a period of time before deciding to leave on my own. I feel that my time in EMS has given me experience with different styles of roleplay, Mostly one that involved more structured interactions. AKA procedures and working alongside people to help them roleplay their own characters further. It also helped me realize i enjoy roles where i can actively be working alongside others and develop their storyline. Be it a single group or more over the span of the server.

What is your motivation to apply for reporter?:
I wanted to practice my creative writing while enjoying it, formulating articles, Interviews, Headlines, and the news reports mentioned. Generally, I do want to become more involved with all the factions within the server, all while keeping myself in engaging roleplay via journalism with others and myself. I enjoy asking questions and gathering information from multiple sources. And presenting different perspectives on situations. I think it's also a very important role to interact with civilians via these very reports and / or adverts!
Do you have any experience with writing? What is your relationship with writing?:
I have some experience with writing through roleplay, schoolwork, and general OOCLY communication. I would consider my relationship with writing to be fairly neutral. It is something I'm comfortable doing and enjoy when I have a clear purpose for it. It is easier for me to structure my writing and adjust it accordingly to or depending on what is needed. Although I am always open to improving my writing skills and supporting it via this role and would really like to seek it.
Are you aware of - and will follow - the set of rules provided to you?:
Yes.
Why should we accept you over others?:
I feel and believe that i could be considered due to me being able to bring different perspectives to the reporter role. Through the variety of roleplay I have experienced on SRP. I have spent a significant amount of time doing GangRP and also have experienced EMS, which has allowed me to interact with different types of characters and understand how different sides of the server manage and or operate.
I am also merely interested in writing and communication. And also would like to use this chance to use this role as a way to find and seek new skills. Refining them along the way while i put effort into developing those skills. Most important, I am willing to learn. I don't expect to know everything within the faction and what keeps people reading. But i am prepared to expect feedback and improve accordingly. I also see that with both previous RP experiences, Willingness and genuine interest in the role. Would allow me to become a better writer all along.
Do you understand you have to stay completely neutral with all reports? (Your report can't have any OOC or IC bias towards a specific group.)
Of course.
Do you trust that you will be able to stay active and complete the monthly quota?:
Yes i intend to do so.
Summarise what you imagine work as a reporter is:
I feel working as a reporter is not always being the main cause or lead for any situations or reports. I imagine working as a reporter is mainly around gathering information, Speaking with people and turning what i find to be interesting roleplay. Into understandable news where everyone in the community can feel a little involved by reading the articles or reports posted. I can also imagine being a reporter is to be observant and willing to look deeper than the epirdermis. Rather than simply reporting the first thing they hear - Into more controlled direction and give them a basis to start their own perspectives on.
Overall i see reporter role as a big mix of writing and investigation, aswell interaction with the community. While trying to remain professional and provide reliable information for the narrative!
IC (In-Character) Information:
Treat this section like it is your own character answering it
Full Name:
As the person entered the room, And sat themselves down with careful consideration of the first and second seat and settling her soaked bag on the arm rest. Scooting the chair fowards with one attempt. Then another, letting a short chuckle undermining how awkward it was.
"Good evening, My name is Heiko Sommer! I am sorry for coming in this late."
Preferred Name/Nickname and Title (e.g., Ms, Mr)
Sommer tapped the desk for a bit, Considering the options and squinting. Finding herself in an imaginary trick question. Before answering quickly realising it is not.
"Ms, Sommer, That. Is the right answer. Yes?"
Current Age (25+):
"Im not getting any younger! 29 in january."
Past job/work experience:
The sommer quickly snapped their head from the outside window, where rain neatly raced against the time down the window. Her hand raising to list, nails extending to solidify her claim. Her clothes merely dancing along to her movement while oversized sleeves moved along the arms. Cross refrencing the earliest thought, Then to the last one.
"I briefly worked at the hospital here! Replacing a worker momentairily. Give it. . . 3 months? More over on that. I worked at a local hospital as a nurse for a handful of years in Germany- Counting 7. Cycling to the hospital was my go to."
Degree/qualifications:
Sommer removed her bag from the chair laying the soaked fabric on her lap. And pulling out a masters degree in and placing the luckily enough laminated paper on the desk.
A masters in medicine. MD/MS
"Sorry for the rain. . . I got caught in it."
Nationality and born location:
Her native tongue spoke for a moment, Mentioning nearby landscapes and marks before finding it and glancing to the interviewer. The rain momentairily distracting her.
"Born and raised in Germany! Ah- Mainz more specifically."
Phone Number:
The sommer opened and fiddled with her phone for a bit before spinning the screen towards the interviewer. Showcasing a smile a little too innocent.
"030-716-5135!"
How would you describe yourself in under 150 words?:
"Me? Ah, I'd say im- For one very nice! And that is a good thing. I'd hope? Is it not really hard to describe myself? I can't hold an opinion over myself just because i find myself one way. It changes every day. Nevermind- In the meaning of describing myself i can say im not hard to be around. Im not the attraction of the party, just another bystander to it. I think that i could be described as very docile at certain moments. I freeze- Awkward to admit. But i swear it is out of good will! I hold personal life close. But i do not let it interfere with work. Nursing drilled it into us that family is not an exemption."
Sommer let the bags drip water all meanwhile. Hoping it wouldn't be too much of a convinience.
What are you interested in writing about? How will you achieve this, and would you consider going out of your comfort zone?:
Sommer nodded once, Then again.
"I can get out of my comfort zone! Yes yes! Nursing is very invasive. Although i do flatly refuse getting involved with anything shady."
What are your expectations for the job?:
"I would like to find a new position in life. Something a little less demanding."
Sommer collected the degree's storing them neatly again before settling them on the chair again.
Do you have a criminal record? If so, list the crimes below:
The sommer shook her head a little too quickly.
"Nothing of the sorts! Not even a speeding fine."
Fluent Languages (Underline your native):
"Ah- I speak Native German and a handful of Japanese"
PROMPTS:
You will have to write two reports about a topic of your choice. Here we can see how pronounced your writing is and how creative you are. Use your own formatting and your own report idea. (If you're found plagiarizing an actual report or another applicant, you will be denied.)
#1 - General report. Report about a topic, informing players about an event or significant issues to Karakura.

#2 - Interview. It's important to have well-rounded questions. Create your own interview with ten questions or more. And answer them yourself.
{!}The soft rustling of the trees animated the surrounding area, with winds silently picking up leaves and tossing them around like papers.
Noises sounded around the two rustling of leaves, bushes and anything else the wind could get its hands on.{!}

{!}The soft rustling of the trees animated the surrounding area, with winds silently picking up leaves and tossing them around like papers.
Noises sounded around the two rustling of leaves, bushes and anything else the wind could get its hands on.{!}
{!}The reporter adjusted the pen and notebook in her hand. Removing a fresh print of doodles while she had waited for them.{!}
Anon: 'Indeed. . . Although i wouldn't recommend a paper mail the next time you pick up contact. Traceable and - More over is not reliable.'
Heiko: 'Of course! A text should have been the first thought. Old habbits!'
Anon: 'So. Reading from your freakishly small handwriting. What about the recent events did you want to matter my opinion on?'
{!}Rustling of a bag and a small gasp as she was reminded of why she called them there. A smaller object was pulled out of the bag. A voice recorder.{!}
Heiko: 'Here! Speak into this as i- Yes. The beach of course.'
Anon: 'The beach? Right, The recent renovations.'
{!}Small sounds of fabric moving before interuppted by speech again.
Heiko: 'Ah right its a recorder not a video tape. Sorry- Could you repeat that?'
Anon: 'Sure, The beach is fine and all but there has been some hazards to notify. Namely the rocky structure.'
Heiko: 'How would you say it is dangerous?'
Anon: 'The dangerous rock shapes promote injury. Any official should know not to climb on the rocks.
Yet we are a school island. Not listening is written on all of us.'
Heiko: 'Written?'
Anon: 'We were all kids right? There should have been some times you didn't listen to your mother.'
Heiko: 'Touche, Yet- By officials you mean government?'
Anon: 'In a sense.'
Heiko: 'I see. What other things are notable about the beach now?'
Anon: 'There is some marine life and cave spottings in the water. Kids have been all over them.'
Heiko: 'Why is that?'
Anon: 'Kids don't listen. I thought we went over this.'
Heiko: 'Ah right. . . How about this then- Is it visually appealing atleast?'
Anon: 'Someone left a bunch of rubber ducks in the water near the beach.
I hope they are bio-degradable. If not? Pollution.'
Heiko: 'Rubber ducks? Sounds like a safety hazard.
Anon: 'The light house is one. It used to be filled with things.'
Heiko: 'Like what?'
{!}A rather squeamish pause. . . If it wasn't for the only audio recording. The air was palpable.{!}
Heiko: 'I see- Maybe we round this up early then. One last question-
I heard and saw alot of cases coming from the trains around the beach. Any idea why?'
Anon: 'Train tracks run right across the walk path. No lights or sounds to make it evident its coming by.'
{!}The sound of cloth huffing and steps moving away from the recorder. Almost being drowned out.{!}
Heiko: 'A- Wait one last question. This will be the last. How do you feel about the new cave additions?'
{!}Steps loomed closer to the recorder, Crunching leaves under boot.{!}
Anon: 'Its more rubbish places cops don't go to. God knows who goes around there these days.'
{!}The recording ended there.{!}
