On the server, I roleplay with my friends I invited to the server. We attend most classes together, but after school hours we usually just hang out and have fun or find more people to talk to. I am very active on the server, I've joined quite recently and I play all day (9+ hours sometimes!) and I don't plan on getting inactive since I love the community and the server itself. I am not very active on the forums, as I usually check just to apply for positions and check out discussions about new updates or the server if no one is saying anything on Discord. Even if this whole coronavirus issue wasn't happening right now, I'd still be very active as I do not make many plans or have a job, and most of my classes are very short so I am dismissed early.

What is your motivation for becoming a teacher?: My motivation in becoming a teacher on here is because teaching seems so fun to me! I've worked with kids IRL as a student-helper or a babysitter and personally it felt great. I got to know them and I loved creating ideas to make learning fun. I used to be in ESL (English Second Language) in elementary school, and now I feel extremely confident when it comes to my English. If English teaching spots aren't available, I'd love to teach music too! I am asian IRL so I have been put into learning piano and violin because of my parents, so I have a lot of ideas when it comes to teaching students about instruments or music notes during my class if I get the position. I've also been in choir and can teach the students about the different voice ranges. So to answer the question, my motivation in applying for this comes from my learning experiences IRL. I feel confident enough to be able to teach the lessons I've learnt and to relive the experience (except I'm actually teaching it) by roleplaying.
Do you have any experience in Roleplaying?: Yes, I was first introduced into roleplaying by making a highschool with my friend on a creative server and starting a roleplay (we made characters in this box and you could choose which character you wanted to be there). I've also watched many Minecraft Roleplay Series on YouTube back in the day. On ROBLOX, I was a high ranked staff at "Family Cafe" and I hosted interviews and trainings so I have experience in being prepared on what to say and what not. Unfortunately, Family Cafe's owner got hacked and they removed all staff from the logs on ROBLOX and Discord so I no longer work there anymore. However, I've roleplayed as staff members at plenty other servers on ROBLOX ex. Dunkin' Donuts, Empire Theatre, Lush Salon, etc.

What are the classroom logs and why is it important?: I believe the classroom logs are important so no student feels like they're reliving the same class over and over again, I will use it to keep track that I'm not teaching the same lesson repeatedly. It is also important for me to note any actions that happened during my lesson that I taught, whether it was a mistake I did (I won't make one, I promise!) or a behavioural issue a student had. Classroom logs are very important too, as it could show how active I am as a teacher and to keep track of my classes per day/week/month.
You want to start a school field trip; how do you do that?: I would talk to the School Principal about where I'd like to take my class and ensure them that it is completely family friendly and educational. I would tell my classes about the upcoming event at least a week before I take them there so I know that everyone is on the same page as I am.

Teacher Knowledge
Present to us your knowledge about Teachers in-game and out-of-game, what purpose do teachers serve. What salary do they get? Include a paragraph about the way teachers teach, what they do in their spare time in general. As a student IRL, I know that teachers and teaching is very important in our life. I could spend hours or days thinking about what our life would be without education. Some teachers can be mean, boring, or very funny but they all have their own ways of teaching. In game, I will make the students learn a lot in a way that's not so boring!
IRL teachers always deal with that one or few students that disagree to learn, and I'm not afraid of having to deal with that. Any behavioural issues or bullying, I will not tolerate with because other people are just trying to have fun and learn. So far on salary, I've read on Discord that teachers get paid 250,000 yen a year. I've also seen in in-game chat, someone said that they get paid 2.5k per class. However, the amount of salary is not a big issue with me, I'd teach just for fun because it's something I enjoy doing in roleplay.
The way I will teach will be serious but not in way where students want to /me falls asleep in class. I'll write down my plans in my PC notepad and think of what to say and different scenarios that might happen and how to deal with them! I will never come unprepared if I am honoured enough to get this position. When it's not school hours, I don't plan on doing drugs or ruining my reputation by something like that. I'd either be with my friends, checking out open shops, or preparing my next lesson.
Why are teachers important to a SchoolRP server?: Teachers are very important because what is a student if there is no teacher? They are the 2 main roles in a school! Although this is just Minecraft, I want the students who join my class to gain knowledge from what I teach and hope they use it wisely in real life. For example, helping them with their grammar or spelling mistakes. I've seen SchoolRP have school hours start and no classes hosted because there were no teachers online, I want to make sure that rarely happens because of how active I am. No classes during school hours, everyone is like "/ooc No classes?" or they don't like the idea of having to stay inside school grounds without having anything to do because of no classes. Teachers are important not only for the students eduction, but for their social needs too. I will try my best to get everyone talking to at least one person in the class when they're allowed to. Whether it's by assigning 2 partner projects or even just telling them to talk to the person next to them while I hand out their homework.
What lesson planning system does the school work on?: The school works on a lesson planning system called MoSCo [Must have, Should have, Could have].

My character, Mae Lia Hatsumi, has long brown silky hair going up to her thighs and her eyes are a dark brown. She'd stand 5'6 and weigh 110lbs. She's a 25 year old and has a dream of becoming successful and happy at the same time in the future. Teaching would be lovely for her as she loves being around people, enjoys teaching, and considers teachers to be successful! Mae loves being around people, she wouldn't mind talking to anyone about anything. She'd get along with all of the staff and students despite how mean they could be, if that ever happens since she has a very forgiving and open heart. Mae is very friendly and open-minded and responsible. She can manage her time but always gets what she needs to get done first (like her job for example). She can be nervous sometimes if she ever feels unprepared so she always has the need to get everything ready, even if it's just imagining a conversation, she wouldn't want to mess up anything.
Scenarios
You find a gang of delinquents in the hallway cursing and swearing, what do you do?: I would walk up to them and address them kindly saying, "Excuse me, let's mind our language on school grounds. Thank you." If they choose to not follow my request, I will issue them in detention.
No one in your class is listening to a word you say, what do you do?: I will them around 30 seconds to a minute to be focused on me. If they don't choose to listen, I will call out whoever is talking or distracting other people to pay attention and keep quiet. If most of the class doesn't choose to listen, I might just have to raise my voice. If many tries of trying to get one person to listen, they will be asked to leave the class/kicked from the class and I'll have them apologize to the rest of the class just so they won't do it again.
When in the teacher's lounge, how does your character act?: Mae is very friendly and would talk to the other staff about how her day was and how her class went. She'd also listen without interrupting when someone else is speaking. Mae would find the teacher's lounge to be peaceful to her as there are people like her in that room and she'd feel stress-free.

Backstory
Mae Lia Hatsumi grew up as an only child in Shanghai, China. She made many friends at her first school but had to move due to her parents not being able to afford their house. As they found cheaper houses, she had to transfer schools around 4 times. Her kind cousin, Grace, offered Mae's parents to live with her as she was wealthy and lived by herself. Mae lived with Grace, who was 21, in Japan ever since she was 7 years old and her parents visited often. Grace would always hold Mae's hand as she would walk Mae to school everyday. As Mae grew up, Grace spoiled Mae with everything she could ever want, she felt like a princess, Grace was so special to her. When Mae turned 15, Grace got leukaemia but never told Mae as she knew she would feel heartbroken as Grace felt like a mother to Mae. She finally found out when Grace flew Mae's parents out to Japan to tell her as she couldn't tell Mae herself.
"Why didn't you tell me?" Mae spoke as she came into Grace's room, but she wasn't there. Mae's parents took her to the hospital and Mae saw Grace. She looked pale and sick and was super cold. Mae looked at her hands and teared up and she thought of each time she got to hold it while they walked to school together, she held it and they were still her hands, still warm. Mae felt blind, how could she not know about this? How could Grace not tell her until now?
"Mae?" said Grace as she woke up, "I love you. You have all rights to hate me right now, I'm selfish for not telling you. I didn't want to hurt you, you felt like a daughter to me." Mae's eyes began to tear as she heard the crack in Grace's voice like she was in pain.
"I want you to promise me one thing, live successful. You're gonna one day become such a famous singer, I already know it!" She laughed even though it hurt, "You'll go to Coachella. Promise me, you will? Promise me, you'll grow up doing something you love. Promise me, you won't get heartbroken and fall in love with some guy who's not worth it here. I'm sorry baby, my T-Cells don't work and I can't take the chemo anymore, I've tried so hard just to stay with you I have. Promise me, you'll be happy."
"I promise." Mae sniffled, "I love you, Grace."

It's been almost 11 years since Grace's death. Thinking of Grace could make Mae cry in one second but Mae promised Grace she would be happy.
