IGN:
My IGN is peachybbyx. This is my main account and the account I am applying as this is the active account that I use a lot. However, I have an alternative account. The IGN for that is PeachyNoot.

What are your discord name and tag (name#0000)?:
My Discord tag is peachybby#2954.

What is your timezone/What country are you from?:
My timezone is BST. I am from England.

Do you have a microphone and are able to speak VIA discord?:
I have a microphone that I use practically every day to join voice calls VIA Discord. It operates perfectly fine, meaning I can listen to other members of the call and they can understand me.

Have you applied for a community team? If so, link your previous apps:
This is my first attempt at applying for a community team. However, this is my edited attempt of this post. After carefully considering and revising my work, I came to the conclusion that it was sloppy and half-hearted. My language was straightforward and didn't stand out from the rest. I felt as if I didn't show the best of my ability and knowledge. So, I changed my vocabulary and prompts significantly. I am now incredibly delighted with my application and also very proud of my hard work and endeavours.

Do you recognize you could be removed from the community team?
I fully comprehend that I could be eliminated from the Community Team at any time. If I was to be accepted, I would minimise any and all likelihoods of this happening. However, if this was to emerge I would fully appreciate and respect the judgment that took place.

List a few things that may obstruct your progress/development on the Lore Team.
Firstly, the crucial thing that could affect my advancement on the Lore-Team is school. I have no online classes this year and just have physical school. This means, sadly, I will be concentrating on my homework and only logging on to the SRP server from Friday to Sunday. I am apart of the Student Council for my school and I am also a Peer Tutor. However, with the social distancing measures my school has implemented, this may not be happening due to the fact I am not able to interact with people that aren’t in my Year Group. Apart from this, I will always be active on Discord due to having it as an app on my phone. I still have operating headphones that mean people can hear me and I can listen to them without any issues. I would still be able to respond to DMs and attend meetings. Apart from this, I’m able to log on to the server during weekdays. A rough schedule of my activity is from Friday 5 pm to Sunday 9 pm.

Following on, another aspect that could impact on my growth on the Lore-Team is mental health. Particularly with school starting again, I may have to take a few quick breaks to get myself back on track. I struggle with anxiety and stress during school. This means I could perhaps be inactive for an isolated amount of days while I prioritise taking care of myself. Nonetheless, this won’t transpire relatively often, just during stressful periods of school, such as exam week or similar events. For example, I am sitting my Health and Social exam in January which means for the weeks leading up to the exam, I will be prioritising revision over most things.

What makes you different from other applicants?:
By adding me to the Lore-Team, you would put in an original and unique bundle of ideas that can make the team thrive more than it already does. I feel as if I can show that I would be an outstanding expansion to the team. Therefore, I have assembled what I think are the fundamental characteristics that would illustrate myself.

I have a powerful work ethic and I possess a willingness to work hard. Completing and finishing tasks is extraordinarily important to me. I cannot leave a task unfinished as it makes me feel as if I am letting others and myself down. If I need assistance, I am not anxious to ask. I thrive off other people’s criticism of my work, as it gives a different pair of eyes that can read and amend any errors that may have arisen.

Responsibility is awfully important to me. I want to be seen as an individual who can be counted on and is remarkably responsible. As a Community Team member, you are not only portraying yourself but the others around you. This means you must behave maturely and show everyone how you attained your place and how hard you served for it.

If accepted onto the Lore-Team I pledge to conserve a sense of morality and honesty above all else. Promising relationships are built on trust. I pride myself on the quality that I have ethical and moral principles following me all times, no matter who's watching. I guarantee that I would behave with honesty, honour, and truthfulness.

As well as all these factors, there is one most important one. Collaboration. Teamwork is all about being able to operate smoothly and efficiently within a group. In order to work satisfactorily as a team, I need to be able to better comprehend team members’ behaviour, actions and responses. This is hugely important because this depends on how well communication will work. Communication is immensely important to me. This is because working as a team is a meaningful factor for any Community Team.

What makes you passionate about writing?:

Note: I debated on putting this in, as it is quite a tricky subject for me. However, after all, it is part of my backstory, after all. This may seem like a “sob story” to some people, but I promise it isn’t and I sincerely apologise if it comes off that way. I just want to illustrate what a big impact writing has had on my life thus far.

Writing has helped me through a lot in life so far. Ever since I was a child, I struggled with maintaining friends. Somehow, they would all find excuses not to be my friend anymore. This deeply confused me from a young age. I used to sit on my own during break-times and write in my notebook. I used to write about multiple worlds, all where I had lots of friends and was relatively popular. This was my way of coping, I didn’t need real friends, I had my stories.

Ever since I was young, I have always been “gifted” at writing. My teachers noticed from a young age that I was reading books that were meant for 12 or 13-year-olds when I was 6. I incorporated reading into my stories. I have always got a kick out of writing, primarily since I have gotten older and my writing skills have developed massively. I mostly enjoy writing about Saskia and Nashelle. I get a feeling of joy creating a whole fictional life, just from a name. I sometimes like to base parts of my characters lives on scenes from films or chapters of books I have read. Personally, my characters have to be unique. They need to be unusual and interesting to read about. I do this by adding dark pasts, hidden secrets that will come to light one day.

Do you have any previous experience with writing lore or creative writing as a general aspect?:
Yes, I have numerous experiences with creative writing. I have always been talented at creating stories or “worlds” in my head ever since I was a child. I have entered multiple creative writing competitions and have either won or gotten into the finals. Three pieces of my work have been published into books (DM me for proof if you want to, I just don’t want to expose my last name on the forums) that are available for purchase. I am in the top set for my English Literature and Language lessons that I frequently have to write pieces of work for, such as short stories, backstories or essays.

What is lore to you?:
Personally, lore is a way to build another existence. It is a way to escape from reality and feel an immense feeling of satisfaction when the person you created achieves something amazing. Lore builds a backstory and has infinite likelihoods of where you can take it. It is a way of expressing myself and showing what I can create with, in this case, a Roleplay Name and a skin. I adore creating new characters. Thickening the plot is what I love the most about lore. This is because you can take it anywhere, there’s no ending what you can do. The more theatrical and through the lore is, the more fascinating it is going to be to read. Lore is a way of emancipation and expression. Lore isn’t constrained by anything, because it is a self-reliant thing that can’t be told what to do and where it can halt.

Write a 200-800 word story for a day in the world of Karakura. Word Count: 827.
♫Please click here and listen to the song, it was what I listened to on repeat whilst constructing this short story and was a considerable inspiration for this piece♫

The alarm shrieked loudly, shaking the wobbly nightstand it inhabited. A pale, snow-white hand reached out from the pink duvet, blindly reaching around in order to hopefully stop the god-awful noise. The hand finally reached the alarm and shut it off quickly. The hand redacted back under the covers where it seemingly wanted to stay there. The alarm shrieked again, causing the person under the duvet to let out a soft groan. Saskia Hasegawa-Dot sat up in her warm, cosy bed. She blinked, squinting her sensitive eyes as morning sunlight shone into her room. Her hand reached for the alarm, her perfectly manicured nails tapping against the glass. She hurled the alarm at the wall, causing a loud “clonk”. Saskia flopped back onto her pillow as her long, blonde hair fanned out around her. She shut her heterochromatic eyes again.

Eventually, Saskia hauled herself out of her plush, queen-sized bed. She exhaled to herself as the chilly air hit her porcelain skin. She shivered a little as she ambled over to her wardrobe, the soles of her bare feet padding on the luxurious carpet. She unbolted the wardrobe and perused through her many, many clothes. On this day, she picked out her beloved outfit. Saskia got undressed out of her pyjamas and stepped into her black and white checked skirt, yanking it up over her deeply scarred thighs. Her hands brushed over the material, smoothing away any creases. She tugged her long-sleeve pristine white shirt over her body, wincing at the scratchy material. Over the top of her turtleneck, she managed to fit a black tank-top and tucked it into the waistband of her short skirt. With careful hands, she adjusted her shirt over her body, looking at herself in the shattered mirror. The pieces of glass shone in the sunlight, some pieces littering the carpet. She had to look decent. Being a Councillor meant she was constantly in the public-eye and she cared very dearly about what other people speculated of her appearance.

Saskia let out a lengthy sigh, resting on hand on her head as she kneaded her throbbing temples. Prior to this morning, she had partaken in a late-night drinking session where she got particularly intoxicated. She was relatively hungover and a slight disappointed into herself, too…. She stumbled over to her night-stand picking up her yellow Councillor armband and slid it onto her shirt. Saskia admired herself in the mirror, adjusting her armband so it fits nicely. Saskia beamed at herself in the mirror and picked up her handbag. Inside her handbag was a plethora of arbitrary items. Some of her fundamentals included: Her Glossier lip-gloss, Coco Ch**** Perfume and an eyelash curler. She always had to look and smell her best! Her eyes shot open wide in a moment of panic as she rummaged through her Louis Vuitton bag for her Asthma Inhaler. Saskia suffered from seasonal asthma, so her inhaler was a healthcare must-have.

Saskia pranced down the stairs of her apartment and down into the hallway. She opened the creaky, loud door to the kitchen and made her way to the fridge. She got herself a cool, cold water bottle to hydrate herself throughout her busy day. Standing on her tip-toes, she reached upwards to the cupboard above the fridge where she kept her medications. Her 5’4” self was struggling to grasp the paracetamol box but she managed to grip it with her tiny, manicured hands. Grabbing her keys from the bowl, she then bent down to slip on her black kitten-heels and secured the strap tightly. She slammed her apartment door and locked it swiftly, making sure it was fastened.

The French girl pressed the button in the elevator, popping the paracetamol in her mouth before washing it down with the water. She slipped the water bottle into her bag and wiped her newly damp hands on her skirt. The dopey blonde kept a slow pace while other students sped past her, eager to get to school on time. Whilst making her slow journey to school she spaced out; thinking about her favourite thing. Love. After a long while of trudging to school alone, she reached the towering school gates and made it inside.

She raced up the stairs to the top floor which was home to College classes. She greeted the teacher that was at the door and found a seat at the front of the classroom where she knew she wouldn’t find herself side-tracked. One by one, students started flooding in. They all took seats mostly at the back of the classroom. She pushed her purse to the edge of the wooden, chipped desk and waited for the Professor to begin the lesson. Saskia took notes, handed in her homework and listened intently to the Professor so she could try and get the best grades in her exam. Sadly, she found herself hushing the pair that were seated behind her who persistently interrupted the lesson.

Write about your favourite physical aspect of Karakura (things like classrooms/gardens etc.) Why? What makes it special?
♫Please click here and listen to the song, it was what I listened to on repeat whilst constructing this short story and was a considerable inspiration for this piece♫

The azure blue water struck the tiles loudly in a repetitive fashion. Some people swam laps, utilizing their muscles for future tryouts whilst some swam for pure fitness as they desperately tried to get their summer physique. Others splashed their friends and family, shrieks of euphoria filling the atmosphere, echoing in every alcove. Small children’s laughter sounded like a spiritual harmony of purity and childhood as they clutched their melting, oozing ice cream, the colour tinting their grinning faces.

The stands were lustrously coloured, crammed with numerous luscious goodies. Bar stools perched in front of some stalls, where one can get a drink to quench their yearn for water in the blazing sun. The waterslides were towering, shadowing over the pool menacingly. The clamours of fear or laughter heard through the tight plastic tunnels. Sunbeds, littered with belongings. Pink, purple, red, yellow, white, blue... any colour possible could be seen on the sunbeds as towels lay messily.

The smell of barbecue drifted around, as did the smell of hissing sausages, burgers, ribs... anything you could think of! The Waterpark was truly a wonderful place, but, sadly it was a seasonal thing. That’s why it is so special to many because it is only opening during the sweltering summers of Karakura. The lazy river was crammed as the citizens of Karakura relaxed on their well-deserved break. Rubber dinghies crashed against each other, causing an annoying squeaky sound, jolting the citizens out of their relaxation. The rays of brutal sunshine were shining down as many people tanned, burning their beautiful, delicate skin in a desperate attempt to get the golden-brown colour that they desired to flaunt off. There wasn’t a cloud in sight. It was beautiful. Certainly glorious. However, the warmth wasn’t enjoyable. It was well over 30 degrees and it seemed as if everything and everyone was going to melt.

I have composed a short story about the waterpark because personally, I am enthralled by it. It's incredibly well-built and detailed. It is so special to me because Saskia has had many fond memories there and I have had lots of fun role-play experiences with my friends; they truly are amazing and heartfelt. The momentous thing about it is that is completely unique. This is because it is seasonally adjusted. This makes it magical because it’s only open for a limited amount of time. This means that the event could change every single year it was open. The waterpark is a truly remarkable and marvellous place. Many rememberings could be made here. It’s so different from any other place in Karakura because it’s so diversified.
