I do not have any current or past applications, I have decided after playing the game for so long I should apply to somewhere and put my efforts in to help around Karakura.
What’s your motivation to apply for EMS, how will you benefit our medical team?:
My motivation to be EMS is to be able to keep citizens around Karakura and to be able to RP to my fullest extent. I am interested in working in the medical community in my life outside of RP, so it's always been an interest to me. I will be active everyday, and be able to work whenever needed.
What medical role are you applying for? (e.g: Doctor, Nurse, Psychiatrist, Surgeon.):
I would like to apply for the Psychiatrist Role.
Specify your knowledge of the role you’re applying for?:
I have taken 2 nursing classes in my school, and know how to treat patients and prescribe medications. Ivy is very kind and heartfelt to those around her and is able to treat patients with mental illness. I am knowledge in substance use and know how to help patients which struggle with abuse. She knows how to de-escalate situations involving mentally ill patients and which medications can help treat those. ( I have taken two psych classes IRL )
Are you aware of the basic color codes for medical emergencies? If so, specify all the ones you’re conscious of with their meanings.
Yes, I am aware of basic color codes, including,
Red- fire in the building, evacuate
Blue- Respiratory arrest or Cardiac arrest.
Black- The color code black most of the time represents a bomb threat.
Code white- Evacuate.
Do you take acknowledgment to the fact that if you’re inactive for a long
period of time you will be demoted, and do you respect this fact?
Yes of course. I take full acknowledgement of being fired or demoted if I am inactive. I respect this fact. I understand that when staff are not active, their duty of their job is not being fulfilled.
Categorize all the EMS roles and specify what each of them does:
Head- Physician - The head physician in a hospitals job is to oversee all work done by the other departments. The head physician holds all of the responsibility of the choices made by all staff. All orders given given by the HP must be done.
Clinical Manager- Clinical Managers are on staff workers responsible for outpatients and helping for after care plans for patients. Clinical managers usually help with training and hiring.
Surgical Department- The surgical department is needed when a patient needs help with wounds to any internal issues that can not be helped by doctor. Surgeons use needles, scalpels, etc to take patients into surgery.
Nursing Department- The nursing department helps patients once cured, can give meds for aftercare. They communicate between doctors, to help alongside them. Nurses must oversee pre and post op care, writing records of the patients. Nurses must be able to apply dressings, insert and IV, etc.
Psychiatry Department - The psychiatry department must be able to assess mental health and physical health of patients. They must be able to make a diagnosis for a patient and be able to make a plan for after care. They must know how to prescribe medications and know what will help their patient best.

How does your character act during their shift and not during their shift?: During the shift, my character acts very kind and helpful and attentive to her patients. Ivy would risk herself to help someone else, in work, and out of work. Outside of work, she is mostly hanging around with her brothers and sisters, and she acts the same outside of work, but a bit more goofy.
Describe your character’s personality / personification in summary:
Ivy would be a bubbly kind hearted girl. She takes a long time to let people into her life. She has past issues which causes this. Ivy loves to help others and make sure that their needs are put above hers, even if that's not the best for her. The smell of chanel perfume would always linger behind her. In her freetime, she hangs out with her family, the Shimasu’s. She comes across as blunt but kind to strangers.
Describe your character’s appearance:
Ivy is a moderately curvy girl standing at 5’4. She has medium length golden brown hair that curls at the end. She would wear a tank top with a white jacket over it. Her eyes are green with a brown dot on the left eye. She would walk a little odd due to a broken ankle when she was younger. She would talk with her hands when she speaks.
Does your character have any past / current mental and or physical illnesses we should take acknowledgement to?
No, Ivy has never had any mental illnesses.

Ivy is from Canada, recently moving to Karakura with her family. Her past is what defines her. Ivy was adopted by the Shimasu’s after passing through nursing homes, playing the mother role with every house she went to. Her mother and father gave her up for adoption when she was born, but never found the right home. Nobody ever wanted her and the way this made her feel is a feeling she would want anyone to have. Due to the frustration of her childhood, She would volunteer at events involving children to attempt to fulfill what the childhood that Ivy didn't get when she was a child. When adopted by the Shimasu’s, she had a hard time letting everyone in, but once she found that there was hope, she hasn’t stopped smiling since. Ivy would excel in school since she was little and she was very smart, but switching betweens schools when younger was always hard for her. She is about to graduate high school, and in her free-time, she studies nursing and mental illnesses, hoping one day to become a psych.
