That ‘doctor’ came back again today. This time, I forbade him from seeing my daughter.
Ivan was not happy, but I didn’t care. I don’t know what they’ve been doing, but Mona couldn’t sleep without me at her bedside for a week. My heart ached at her suffering...
The ‘doctor’ claimed it is important that my daughter go through with these visits. I questioned him, and he insists it is to make October as ‘painless as possible’ for her. He says she is too... vulnerable. Easy to sway.
Sway? Sway in what regard?
Ivan cut the conversation off before he could tell me. As much as I hate arguing with such a man, it was clear he was hiding information from me.
Was it because he knew I’d disapprove? That I might ‘interfere’ with their plans? Perhaps...
I need to think about a new approach to this matter.
