Meru is somewhat shy and reserved. It's not often she initiates conversation, but will sometimes do it anyway.
If you are her friend, she would eventually open up to you and be more talkative.

Meru often has trouble understanding things that she is told. For example, if she were to be asked a question,
she may need specific details in order to fully understand said question.

Meru has always been shy and scared of anything to do with public speaking.
However over the years she is slowly but surely trying to get over her anxiety.
She doesn't like to go out to places with lots of people unless she is with a friend or two.
As for her A.D.H.D, she gets slightly distracted if her mind isn't focused on something.
Otherwise if she knows what she's doing she can usually take care of any task at hand with ease.

☾ Hobbies ☽
˚₊· ͟͟͞͞➳❥ Photography :
Meru likes to go around the city taking pictures of anything she thinks needs to be captured!
It helps her creativity to start flowing and get inspiration for her other hobbies.
˚₊· ͟͟͞͞➳❥ Volleyball :
Every now and then Meru is always up for a game of Volleyball. While she isn't the greatest at it, she finds it very fun to play.
˚₊· ͟͟͞͞➳❥ Editing :
Meru likes to edit a lot of things. Whether it's videos, photos, designing something for graphics, etc.
Creating color palettes to use for her projects is her favorite part of editing!
˚₊· ͟͟͞͞➳❥ Reading :
Meru isn't the biggest book worm, but she likes to read a few every now and then.
Her current reading goal is the entire Karakura School Library!
Of course this is just an overtime goal for fun.
˚₊· ͟͟͞͞➳❥ Singing :
Meru likes to sing whenever she is alone by herself at home.
She's too shy to even consider singing in front of anyone, even her partner, Korra.
Also having public speaking anxiety, she could never sing on a stage in front of others.
But she loves writing her own songs and singing to herself imagining the impossible of singing to others.

˚₊· ͟͟͞͞➳❥ Punctual :
Depending on the current circumstances, Meru usually likes to be on time for anything and everything.
Have a task she needs to do? It'll be done as soon as she knows how to do it.
Have a place she needs to be? She'll most likely show up a few minutes to an hour early!
Any homework or books that she needs to turn in? She'll do that as soon as possible.
˚₊· ͟͟͞͞➳❥ OverAchiever :
For most things, Meru likes to be on top of her work. Her tasks will usually be organized and focused on one at a time.
The faster she can get things done and done correctly, the more she feels accomplished.
However she will struggle if too many things are on her plate at once, but eventually she'll get through anything thrown her way.
˚₊· ͟͟͞͞➳❥ Observant :
Meru can be pretty observant when she isn't stressed because of her anxiety.
For example: If she is sitting with some friends and notices one is being a bit left out,
she'll try her best to make sure her friend's concerns and opinions are heard by the others.
Or she'll try her best to help in any way she can to make things better.
˚₊· ͟͟͞͞➳❥ Planner :
Meru likes to plan her tasks and ideas to be ahead of schedule. It helps her keep herself more organized, gives her the ability to get things done faster, and causes less stress. However, if previous plans get suddenly canceled, it will cause her stress because she had already been mentally prepared beforehand.
˚₊· ͟͟͞͞➳❥ Open-Minded :
Even though Meru can be a bit stubborn about change, once she gets over her anxiety in a situation and has the reassurance she needs,
she'll be more willing to try and learn new things!

☾ Meru Shi's Backstory ☽
Meru was born and raised in Miyagi Prefecture, Japan. She is a single child who lives with her
mom. Since her parents divorced when she was really young, her mom's side of the family has offered
to help raise Meru. Together, her grandparents would often babysit lil Meru till her mom got off work.
Meru liked to played a lot of sports when she was younger, unfortunately she grew out of them
because of her anxiety getting worse growing up. She still likes to play volleyball every now and then for fun!
If anyone were to ask her to 1v1, she would most likely take them on.
☾ Meru Shi x Korra Ekitai's Backstory ☽
Going into middle school, Meru was very shy and quiet, kept to herself most of the time.
In 5th grade, Meru met her best friend, Korra Ekitai. She was very shy at first but he had a lot of patience
and was willing to become her friend, nonetheless her best friend/future partner <3.
After a few years of being friends, both of them grew feelings for eachother.
When Meru and Korra got into highschool, their feelings grew stronger and thus Korra popped the question!
