BACKSTORY
Her parents thought they would have a baby boy but when the doctor made a mistake, it turned out they were having a daughter instead. Her father became furious, how he wasn’t going to have a son. Her mother didn’t care; she would love the child either way. But sadly, she already had the name Enlai as her name. Which is a Chinese male name meaning “Appreciation” Slowly over time, her father became distant. Causing her grandmother, her mother's twin sister to take care of Enlai instead.
At the age of Enlai turned 5, she was left alone in her father's care. He became drunk during his time watching her, her mother's twin sister stepped out to grab the takeout they ordered. While she wasn’t looking, her father attempted to abuse Enlai, trying to rip off her clothes forcefully, Enlai was able to grab the bottle he was drinking and slam it onto his head. Causing him to knock out onto the floor, her mother's twin sister came rushing back into the house with the food in her hands.
During this time, her mother and grandmother went out to grab Enlai's new clothes since she turned 5 the day before. While her mother's twin sister called ER, she held Enlai in her arms as she looked back at the camera footage they had hidden around the house, something only Enlai’s father doesn't know. She quickly treated Enlai’s wounds, being an APRN, she was able to take care of her wounds quickly and effectively.
Saving the video of the attempted abuse, the ambulance came to their apartment. After the ambulance came to the apartment, her mother's twin sister called her mother and grandmother, informing them of the whole situation. While keeping distance from Enlai’s father, the ambulance came inside the apartment, as they took Enlai’s father into the bed, she secretly informed one of the ER workers about the situation. Her grandmother and mother finally arrived at the scene, and her mother instantly rushed over to Enlai, carrying her as she began to cry again.
It led to the scene of her father staying overnight at the hospital under watch, while her mother, mother's twin sister, and grandmother continue their night as usual with heightened concern.
After a while, the four of them went to court. It later switches on to her father being detained, while the four of them gain a restraining order on him. While also getting good fortune from the court case, since Enlai’s grandmother knew rich and powerful lawyers. It turned into her father receiving years of jail time.
As the years went on, she began to do ballet when she was 5. Although she was the weird creepy girl anywhere she went, people always loved her. She never had a close best friend, but was surrounded by people who enjoyed her company. She never had any realistic crushes on people, but rather preferred to have crushes online over any non-fictional people, since she felt that it was better that way. Understanding that she won’t be the main choice of friendship or any relationships at a young age. Years later on, she stopped doing ballet when she was 15, the main reason for her stopping is that she moved to Kitakyushu, Japan with her mother, her twin sister, and her grandmother.
They all moved to Japan due to her father's gang members stalking them throughout the years, which they weren’t aware of until one of the gang members was stalking Enlai’s mother during the grocery store, which led to a scene of the gang member being beaten to death from her mother alone in a dark alleyway.
As they moved to Kitakyushu, they instantly found good apartment housing for the four of them due to her grandmother's connections. While being in the new school, she was bullied. For how ‘weird’ and how she is a ‘teacher's pet’ from her peer's point of view. Even if she was being bullied majorly, she was able to gain better grades than her classmates. As soon as her immediate family found out about the incidents, they were able to sue the school. Letting her transfer to another school as a transfer student, Karakura High. Since her family agreed with her grades and overall evidence of how she was treated, her immediate family agreed to let her move away, they gave her a student balance of ¥1000 once a week to help give her more support.
