It’s good, like maybe 7/10, because I usually only log after school on the weekdays, but on the weekends I play at any time if I’m not busy. I afk like half an hour usually sometimes to make a desc or to do a quick homework assignment, but other than that, I just rp the rest of the time.

In as much detail as possible, describe the employee role you are applying for:
A school caretaker is the person who keeps everything in the school running smoothly and in good shape. They’re responsible for cleaning classrooms, hallways, and other areas to make sure the school stays tidy and welcoming for students and staff. They take care of the school grounds, like mowing the grass or clearing the snow, and they also sometimes have to break up fights or problems between students or others.


What experience, in general, do you have in roleplay?:
I have a looooot of experience. I joined SchoolRP late 2022, and I have been RPing ever since. I took a break for like 5 months about a year ago, and then another break for a month to catch up on school, and now I’ve returned.

Why do you want to join the School Employee faction?:
I wanna help other employees/teachers/professors, and I want to ensure that the school’s a safe environment for students and adults alike.

During a work-shift a student starts cursing at you for being pathetic, how does your character react?:
She’ll tell the student to calm down and she would tell them to please stop saying that. If they don’t stop, she’ll warn the student. If they still keep doing it, she’ll warn again and in the 4th time they do it, she will give them a detention.

You notice two students are physically fighting in the hallway, – multiple punches have been thrown – how does your character react?:
She quickly goes to the two students and tells them to stop. If they don’t, she’ll break them apart, and call another staff member to help.

Another school employee is clearly acting inappropriately, doing something very dangerous on the job, how does your character react?:
She would tell them to stop, and threaten to tell a higher staff member. If they don’t stop, she tells a higher staff member.

When in the employee break room, how does your character act?
She would always go up for coffee, and (rarely) chat with the other staff members unless they are friends with her.

/me stands, with her snow shovel in hand, and shovels the snow out of the school gate. She sees two students sitting near it, so she says cheerfully “Hey, would you mind not loitering near the school gate?” and continues shovelling snow.
/me takes a pink pad of paper and stares at the guilty student. “Your name is Aoi, is that correct?” She stares down at the pad of paper and starts scribbling Aoi’s name down and why she got in trouble. “Don’t do it again, please.” She says sternly and hands Aoi the pad.
/me would look at the time as the sun started rising. About time, as she was cold. She picked up her mop again and continued cleaning the big mess that the students made in the cafeteria. “Ugh, another food fight.” She groaned, gagging as the mixed aroma of all the foods on the ground reached her nose.

Backstory
Sonara Baptiste was born in Japan to a Spanish mother and Japanese father. Her life was happy at first, filled with warmth and care, but everything changed when she was just six years old. Both her parents tragically died in a car accident, leaving Sonara with no one but her grandmother to take care of her. Her grandmother, though elderly, took on the role of raising her with love and patience, teaching Sonara values like kindness, hard work, and self-reliance.

For a while, life with her grandmother felt safe and stable. Sonara loved helping her with daily chores and learning how to cook, clean, and take care of their small home. But when Sonara turned ten, her grandmother fell ill and passed away, leaving her completely alone. With no family left to care for her, she had to grow up fast, staying in Japan and learning to fend for herself.

Sonara’s childhood became a balancing act of survival and learning. She worked small jobs, like cleaning parks and helping local shops, to make enough money to get by. At school, she faced challenges but refused to give up, knowing her education would one day open doors for her. These tough experiences shaped her into someone who appreciated the value of hard work and understood the importance of creating safe and welcoming spaces for others.

Determined to make something of herself, Sonara focused on her studies and later went to college. She majored in Environmental Science because she wanted to help make the world a better place, and she minored in Sustainability and Health & Safety to learn how to care for the environment and people at the same time.

Now, Sonara is ready to take what she’s learned and use it to help others. Her goal is to make Karakura High School feel as safe and welcoming as the house her grandmother cared for her in—a place where people feel cared for and supported.

Motivation for Joining KHS (Character perspective):
‘I want to join KHS because I know what it’s like to feel like you don’t have anyone looking out for you. I believe schools should be a safe and welcoming space for students, and I want to make sure the environment is clean, organized, and comfortable. Taking care of the school is a way to take care of the people in it, and that’s something I’m passionate about.’

Why should you be accepted over the other applicants?:
'I should be accepted because I bring not only the skills and qualifications needed for this role but also a personal commitment to making the school a better place. My past experiences have taught me resilience, hard work, and empathy. I don’t see this role as just a job but as an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of students and staff every day.'
