What are your current roles on the server?:
[Grade-12] Gabriel B. Kanei | [Grade-12] Alyssa B. Kaiji
Why are Teachers so important to SchoolRP?:
Teachers welcome the new players within the SRP community, and help them break their shell into the world of roleplay. They often host events/classes which help new players get hooked onto the server; and learn the commands more efficiently. It is also a great place for students to meet one another, which benefits community player interaction for students. Being a teacher sets a standard and a proper manner for how roleplay should be treated, and could possibly inspire new or current players to using just as much motivation.
Beyond gameplay, teachers also show professionalism to how serious people take the roleplay within SRP. Once again, reiterating a past statement, it gives a standard for how players should be acting and enhance the experience for everyone. Creating a stable environment of genuine roleplay, and not one of chaotic of fail roleplay constantly.
Do you acknowledge that if you are inactive you may lose your role?: Yes
Do you agree to undergo teacher training if your application is successful?: Yes
In-Character Section

What's your character's full name?: Alyssa B. Kaiji
What is your character's nationality?: German
What is your preferred subject to teach?: English
Describe your character:
Alyssa appears to be delicate and almost ethereal, as if she was caught between a dream and reality. She has long raven-black hair in smooth strands, and a pale face that glowed faintly within the sunlight. her bands are uneven and soft, adding a somewhat youthful, fragile quality to her looks. Her eyes are pale grey and carry a sense of motivation to pave a future for students, as she dealt with a past where she couldn't on her own. Her smile rests gently whenever it came to a motivated student attempting to make it to their dreams, and help them in anyway possible. Alyssa can be quiet out of her workplace, but whenever she teaches she is outgoing and passionate about her words. She has a tone of confidence in what she teaches because without it; students will question themselves before learning the answer. Her soft voice can be strong in the presence of students. Otherwise, her resting face seeming sometimes distant, she can be quite empathetic when spoken to and lights up when it is a great discussion. Alyssa has set out to greater ambitions for teaching students, and wishes to branch out of Karakura one day. Although, to refine her skills and practice even more expressing her knowledge, she decides to want and give it her all in Karakura.
What is your character's outlook on students and co-workers?:
Note; I know it is OOCLY, but I thought that I'd express it both ICLY and OOCLY because it'd be a waste to not show her actual personality and using the OOC question like an interview, I hope it isn't a problem!
She would light up in curiosity; a question that peeked her interest.
[Alyssa B. Kaiji] - "I think a lot of them can be quite wonderful, and show a great sense of humor. Otherwise, they can be focused in their respective subjects and it's always quite nice hearing them speak just as passionately as I do. I can't really say much on those.. who don't attend? I'm sure they have their own reasons."
She brightens up with a gentle soft smile, her eyes still resting but gleaming with interest.
[Alyssa B. Kaiji] - ".. Oh, my co-workers? I've never met some of them personally out of work, but they seem to be amazing individuals. I worry sometimes I won't catch up, but I believe all of us are great in our own respective subjects. I'd even say some are even more humorous and interesting."
Alyssa holds her hand up to her mouth, gently laughing to herself. Reminding herself of a colleague and slowly regains composure.
What is your character's motivation for teaching?:
Alyssa grew up within the harshest times of Germany where her family wasn't set within the greatest of times. In a debt driven family, she was left with only her brother as both their parents had escaped to leave the debt, and continue their ambitions of gambling and drinking. While she felt like she was in a moment of despair, her younger brother had inspired her to move towards the better future that she wished for and he would support her. As she would sit in home and flip between page to page; researching for projects and assignments. She would often look out at the window and see her brother working towards her education and buying her books and necessary school items. She knew the struggles of being in education during poverty, and bit her lips in the thought of her brother having to waste his for the sake of making sure she made it in life. Hence, she studied and found herself living like a normal student, while meeting students she could call friends as well.
As time passed they both grew up to be formidable in their own fields; as she was a prestigious student within her private school. While her brother had been working within the workforce and was well-developed for construction. As they thought time would be just perfect, she'd been struck with the reminder of their dreadful debt. Apparently, their parents had ran away with another set of debts and had befallen on the two children once again; Alyssa and Gabriel. Their house ended up in ruins when they got home, and Alyssa fell in despair because she felt like she would never escape this hell. Therefore, Gabriel decided to step up as her younger brother and push her to moving out of the country with him. As Alyssa agreed reluctantly, she began making her way to gaining a visa to Japan and finally escape the debt-driven environment. She swore to herself that she'd never let such a scenario happen to anybody else again, and drove herself to being a teacher. One that could teach students despite having the necessary pencils or erasers, and show them that the world is worth fighting for and get an education.
Roleplay Scenarios
A student in class is struggling to understand the content, what would your character do?:
[Alyssa B. Kaiji] - Is everything alright? I'll go through it with you and we'll do this question again..
She would kneel down next to the female student, reaching the same eye level to read the poetry. She'd place her pale and slender finger across the lines to point out the key components, and open her mouth once again to explain what they reference.
[Alyssa B. Kaiji] - ".. This part right here symbolizes how the earth can stay still, right? What would you assume in a situation like this?.. It can almost be perceived both ways, right? Whether it'd be in a sense of love where you wished it stayed forever or dread where it would never leave?"
She thoroughly spoke to the student with a confident gaze, hoping to had explained that part of the poem and let them figure out the rest of the poem due to the similar theme of words.
[Alyssa B. Kaiji] - "So then understanding that; what do you think it'd mean when the poem talks about it unpausing from when the fire settles down?"
She questions the student with her head tilted a little bit, a small grin as she eagerly waits on their response. Which it had been a question that was open to any answer and was up to their imagination and experiences that depict the meaning.
[Female Student] - "Would it mean.. that they might have escaped a situation that was harsh for them? Assuming the fire had burnt them and they continued to feel the world that way?"
The female asked timidly and her fingers intertwined on the table, awaiting the teachers response on her answer.
[Alyssa B. Kaiji] - "That was wonderful! There wasn't anything wrong with your answer and with your perspective it makes a great answer! Truly in-depth and such a meaningful way to take a poem that can be interrupted."
She smiles gently and stands back-up to walk around for anymore students, but gave the female student a pat in the back for more reassurance.
A student is continuously being disruptive in class, talking out of turn, and making jokes with classmates. What would your character do?:
[Alyssa B. Kaiji] - "Excuse me, could you please quiet down for the rest of the class? I understand the poem could be quite tricky, and if you're confused I could really help you out."
She spoke to the loud student goofing off in the back, because they've been causing quite a disruption in the class for sometime.
[Disruptive Student] - "No, this fuckin' class is boring and I'd rather do other things."
They slap their feet on-top of the desk, and lay back in their chair as they seemed to no-longer have hope in returning education.
[Alyssa B. Kaiji] - "Alright, I understand."
She spoke disappointedly and her gaze turned dim, but while maintaining professionalism she would turn around and take the phone-call to get a caretaker to remove them from the class. She made sure to mention that they were somewhat troublesome, but to teach them with respect despite still being a student.
[After a few minutes!..]
[Alyssa B. Kaiji] - "You can go on your way now."
The caretaker arrives and takes them out of class [OOCLY; /kick from class] and deals with them accordingly, as she continue teaching the rest of the students and make no notice towards it. Hence, giving the troublemaker no reward of making a disruption and students forgetting about them.
Provide at least 2 interactive class ideas related to your preferred subject:
[Identifying Poems] - Alyssa would give multiple sample of written poetry in the past or present, and give it to the students to interpret. Whether it would be explaining the scenario in a poem, or even writing up another one to give an alike or continuation, it would prove to show their knowledge within symbolism in English. This activity sparks up creativity and a uniqueness for writing styles to be developed for the poems given as examples. Alyssa could give them homework as well to interpret these poems and possibly write one of them on their own using the examples given within class.
[Describe "Your Story"] - Alyssa would give them a topic to write about or genre within a few sentences and have them describe how they see themselves fit, and how their creativity spends out of their current reality. For example, she would give the students the opportunity to write themselves if they lived within a steampunk setting, and how different their lives and perspectives would be on certain things. Although, what would make it so unique is how fast they can think of this and out of their box. For the homework, I would give them their own personal scenario that they can answer and show what they can write to their hearts content.

[OOC SECTION]
Alyssa finds a lot of joy meeting students that are motivated in learning, and sees almost an image of herself within them. Although, she truthfully frowns upon those who neglect studies without a reasonable mean, but doesn't enforce education onto their daily lives. She believes that if they truly wished to receive it, then they would reach out and ask for help as she is always open armed. On the other hand, she has high respect for her colleagues because she looks forward to learning from them. Alyssa knows it'll take some adjusting to learn how to teach in Karakura, due to schools being so different then her time from Germany. She acknowledges that they are all capable and often humorous in their respective subjects, and finds herself looking up to them as an inspiration for what it means to help younger students. Therefore, considering her past in a Germany private school, she was given a lot of attention from her teachers and was supported on many means because of her integrity. Hence, as she builds her way to becoming one, she can't find herself in a bit of disbelief and overwhelming excitement to meet her peers even more. Thus, her output on other teachers which are present or up-coming is moreover positive and filled with curiosity. What is your character's motivation for teaching?:
