Appearance: She has a compact, balanced build at 5'3 and 130 pounds, carrying herself with a quiet, grounded presence. Her black hair frames her face naturally, with a striking purple highlight running through her bangs that adds a subtle edge to her otherwise understated look.

Despite this guarded exterior, she has a rich inner world. Through music and art, she finds calm, release, and a sense of understanding that she rarely finds in people.

Backstory:
Akuma Katsumi is a quiet, introverted girl who prefers to keep to herself. Originally from Okinawa, she moved to Karakura seven years ago. Her mother, a Caucasian American, died while giving birth to her, and her Japanese father has blamed Akuma for her death ever since. Because of this resentment, he named her Akuma—meaning “demon” or “devil”—a name that reflects how he views her rather than who she truly is.
Her father has remained largely absent and emotionally distant throughout her life, and when he is involved, it is rarely in a positive way. This neglect shaped Akuma into someone short-tempered, guarded, and deeply distrustful of others, making it difficult for her to open up. When she was six, her father remarried and had two children with his new wife, both of whom he treats far better than Akuma.
At seven years old, Akuma was left alone for two days when her father and stepmother left on a business trip without informing her. While trying to make ramen by herself, she accidentally spilled boiling water on her face, leaving a burn scar over her left eye.
Despite her difficult upbringing, Akuma has found solace in her interests. She enjoys drawing, studying history, and playing guitar. Recently, she started writing her own music, which now keeps her busy and gives her a rare sense of purpose and control in her life.
