Why are Teachers so important to SchoolRP?:
I think teachers are important because they help new players learn how schoolrp works and get involved in roleplay. They also help highschool students with classes. teachers also help students work towards graduating and moving on to college.
without teachers school part of schoolrp would not feel as active and realistic. They are one of the main roles on the server because they create classes and roleplay for players to join. They also help keep the school functioning and make sure students/players have a good roleplay experience. Teachers help keep things active and give students/players things to do, while also helping them interact with other players and develop their characters. Overall, teachers are a very important part of schoolrp because they help keep the school running smoothly and make the server enjoyable for everyone.
Do you acknowledge that if you are inactive you may lose your role?: Yes
Do you agree to undergo teacher training if your application is successful?: Yes
What is your motivation for becoming a Teacher?: my motivation for becoming a teacher is because i really admire the teachers on schoolrp. They do a lot for the server and help create a good enviroment for students/players. I have always enjoyed schoolrp, and becoming a teacher would let me become a bigger part of it. I also want to become a teacher because i think it would help improve my own roleplay and give me the chance to create roleplay opportunities for others. I want to help students have a fun experience, whether they are a new player or have been around for a while. Teachers play a big role in keeping schoolrp active and realistic, and i would love to be a part of that. What's your character's full name?:
she straightened her posture and gave a small nod before speaking"my name is Reina M. Takeshima it's a plessure to meet you" after finishing her short speech, she lightly clapped her hands together and waited patiently for the next question
What is your character's age?:
She folded her hands neatly in front of her, taking aq moment to think. " i am twenty... Seven years old. i know, i know, i'm getting dangerously close to thirty..." she said jokingly before giving a small shake of her head
What is your preferred subject to teach?:
English
Describe your character:
After a brief pause, Reina rose from her seat and stepped forward, absentmindedly smoothing out the sleeve of her blazer. Standing at 157 centimeters or 5'2 ft, she wasn't particularly tall, though she carried herself with a quiet confidence. Her reddish-brown hair fell in soft waves, framed by gentle bangs that occasionally slipped into her face. Dark brown eyes shifted naturally between the interviewers, making sure each person felt included in the conversation. "I would describe myself as patient, understanding, and dependable. I tend to stay calm in most situations and prefer solving problems through communication rather than conflict. Of course, that doesn't mean I'm afraid to be firm when needed. My siblings would probably disagree and tell you I'm much stricter than I think I am," she admitted with a quiet laugh. "I believe respect and communication are the foundation of any healthy learning environment. People learn best when they feel heard, supported, and comfortable enough to ask questions without being afraid of making mistakes. One thing that makes me unique is my passion for English and literature. Ever since I was young, I've always had my nose buried in a book somewhere. Stories fascinated me. Not just the characters or the worlds they lived in, but the way a story could make someone laugh, cry, think differently, or see themselves in a new light. I think that's why I fell in love with literature in the first place. To me, it's more than just reading and ****yzing a text. It's about understanding people, perspectives, cultures, and experiences that may be completely different from our own. I enjoy discussing stories with others and hearing interpretations I would have never thought of myself. Because of that, I always try to encourage creativity, critical thinking, and self-expression in those around me." The corners of her lips lifted slightly. "Education has always been a large part of my life. My mother, Hoshina Takeshima, is a mathematics teacher, while my sister, Min-rae Takeshima, teaches culinary studies and my brother Arthur Đordević-Takeshima teaches english. Growing up around educators meant there was never a shortage of lesson plans, grading, or conversations about students at the dinner table. Whether I wanted to hear about them or not," she added jokingly. "As for my future, I hope to continue growing both personally and professionally. I would like to become the kind of teacher students can rely on, not only for academics but for guidance and support when they need it. I want to create a classroom where students feel comfortable sharing ideas, asking questions, and finding confidence in their own abilities. If a student leaves my classroom knowing a little more than when they entered and feeling a little more confident in themselves, I would consider that a success." With that, Reina gave a respectful nod

A student in class is struggling to understand the content, what would your character do?:
As Reina moved around the classroom, she would notice one of her students staring at their work with a confused expression. Rather than calling them out in front of the class, she would quietly walk over to their desk and crouch slightly so she could speak to them at eye level."Is everything alright? You seem a little stuck."Her voice would remain soft and calm, making sure not to embarrass the student in front of their classmates. She would take a moment to look over their work before continuing."Is there a specific part you're having trouble understanding? Don't worry if there is. Everyone learns at a different pace."After listening to their answer, Reina would explain the topic again in a different way, using examples that might be easier for the student to understand. If needed, she would write down additional notes or walk them through the problem step by step."Take your time. There's no rush. Let's work through it together."Throughout the conversation, she would make sure the student felt comfortable asking questions and would regularly check if they understood what was being explained. Rather than simply giving them the answer, she would encourage them to think through the problem themselves while offering guidance whenever they needed it."If something doesn't make sense, please tell me. Asking questions is part of learning, and I'd much rather explain it again than have you sit here confused."Before returning to the front of the classroom, Reina would make sure the student felt more confident with the material and would let them know they could always come to her again if they needed additional help later.
A student is continuously being disruptive in class, talking out of turn, and making jokes with classmates. What would your character do?:
Noticing that a student was repeatedly talking out of turn and distracting their classmates, Reina would calmly walk over to their desk rather than calling them out from across the room."Could I ask you to focus on the lesson, please? I want to make sure everyone has the chance to learn without distractions."She would speak in a calm and respectful tone, giving the student an opportunity to correct their behavior without feeling embarrassed in front of the class. Afterward, she would continue teaching and monitor the situation. If the behavior continued, Reina would take a different approach and speak with the student privately. She would try to understand if there was a reason behind their actions, such as boredom, confusion with the lesson, or difficulties focusing. Rather than immediately resorting to punishment, she would work with the student to find a solution and encourage them to participate in a more productive way. However, if the student continued disrupting the class after multiple warnings and attempts to help them, Reina would follow school guidelines and take the appropriate action to ensure the learning environment remained respectful and productive for everyone

1. Hidden Diary Project
One of the activities I would like to host is called the Hidden Diary Project. Students would be given a character from a book or story and asked to write diary entries from that character's perspective. They would have to think about the character's emotions, motivations, and experiences while writing. At the end of the activity, students could anonymously exchange diaries and try to guess which character wrote them. I believe this would help students better understand character development while also encouraging creativity.
2. Rewrite the Ending
Students would be given a story, novel chapter, or short piece of literature and challenged to create their own ending. They would need to explain why they changed the ending and how their version affects the story's themes and characters. I enjoy seeing how differently people interpret stories, and I think this activity would encourage critical thinking while making literature more engaging.
3. Literary Courtroom
For this activity, the classroom would become a courtroom. Students would debate whether a character's actions were justified using evidence from the text. Some students would act as attorneys, others as witnesses, and some as the jury. This would encourage students to support their arguments with evidence while improving public speaking and teamwork skills.
4. Storytelling Circle
Students would sit together and create a story as a class. One student would begin with a few sentences before passing the story on to the next person. The challenge would be maintaining consistency while continuing to develop the plot, setting, and characters. This activity focuses on creativity, communication, and collaborative storytelling.
5. Letters Across Time
Students would write a letter from one literary character to another, even if those characters are from completely different stories. They would need to consider each character's personality, experiences, and way of speaking. This activity combines creative writing with literary ****ysis while encouraging students to think more deeply about the characters they study.
