School Employee Role you are applying for?:
Librarian
In as much detail as possible, describe the employee role you are applying for:
As a librarian, your principal task is to maintain the school's library, which serves as its focal point. They ensure that the environment is comfortable, well organized, and peaceful, allowing employees and students to concentrate and study. like maintaining everything accessible, sorted, and organized. In addition to maintaining books, librarians often recommend resources and help teachers and students with their research. They are responsible for supplying library cards, checking books in and out, and keeping track of overdue materials to ensure that everything runs smoothly.
What experience, in general, do you have in roleplay?:
Quite a bit, I’ve been roleplaying since around 2015, basically since middle school, and it’s been one of my favorite things to do ever since. Most of my experience comes from Discord servers or just with friends where I roleplayed just for fun, but SRP was my first minecraft roleplay. I think I first joined sometime between 2018 and 2020, the exact year’s a little lost, played for a while, took a long break, and eventually came back. I mostly enjoy doing RomanceRP and MedicalRP, but lately I’ve been trying to branch out more into FacultyRP/FamilyRP
Why do you want to join the School Employee faction?:
I want to get more involved with the school staff and explore a wider range of roleplay interactions beyond just the student side. Joining the faculty would give me the chance to handle different kinds of situations and actually contribute to the school’s environment. Also, since I work as a TA in real life, I think it’d be fun to see how I can bring that experience into the game, using what I’ve learned about communication, responsibility, and keeping things organized, but in a more creative, roleplay focused wayish.

Situations
/*Do not mention use of FearRP*/
During a work-shift a student starts cursing at you for being pathetic, how does your character react?:
Anh sighed softly, not out of annoyance but rather from exhaustion from handling yet another offensive comment. She maintained her composure and dealt firmly with the student's behavior without losing her patience. She would politely repeat her warning if the student persisted in acting disrespectfully, her tone becoming more firm to show that she would not put up with more misbehavior. She made it clear that if the insolence continued, detention would be the next step. Anh would finally give the student a detention slip if they continued to refuse to compromise. But she would soften up if the student started reacting sensibly after the first warnings.
You notice two students are physically fighting in the hallway, – multiple punches have been thrown – how does your character react?:
Anh would immediately step between the two students, creating space and quickly assessing the situation to understand what had triggered the fight. She would check for injuries, inspect knuckles, and take careful notes on the events and the students involved. If the fight continued despite her intervention, she would contact faculty while still trying to physically separate them by getting inbetween. Once the students stopped, Anh would make sure they faced appropriate consequences, handing out detention slips or, if any injuries were serious, sending them to the nurse’s office before addressing disciplinary action.
Another school employee is clearly acting inappropriately, doing something very dangerous on the job, how does your character react?:
Anh would intervene, keeping a cool head while prioritizing the safety of the staff members, students and anyone nearby. She would step in calmly but firmly, stopping the employee if possible and moving others out of harm’s way. Observing what they were doing, once the immediate danger was resolved, Anh would make it clear that such reckless behavior couldn’t happen around students and suggest a safer way to handle the tasks in the near future.
When in the employee break room, how does your character act?
In the break room, Anh would make up a quick cup of coffee after a long day on her feet. If she had a moment to herself all alone, she’d either scroll through her phone or read whatever book she had on hand. While she mostly kept to herself, she was always open to a chat if someone approached her. She wasn’t the standoffish type... She just liked to be a bit choosy with her time.
Provide us with at least three detailed /me's of your character whilst on your chosen role:
/me let out a soft sigh as she clocked in, making a quick walk for the teacher’s lounge to pour herself a cup of coffee, mostly black coffee.. Lifting the warm mug to her lips, she took a slow sip, her gaze drifting out the window. For a moment, she simply watched the students bustling around below, lost in her thoughts. Eventually, she pulled her attention away, letting it wander over to her coworkers. With a quick adjustment of her skirt, she slid into the conversation, choosing to listen more than speak at first.
/me sat at her desk, flipping through returned books one by one, checking the front and back covers for serial numbers before jotting notes in her notebook. Her fingers moved quickly over the keyboard to enter data into the system. As she was about to stand, she noticed a student waiting in front of the desk. She blinked slowly, closing the book she’d been holding. With a calm voice, she leaned slightly forward. "How can I help you dear?"
/me Anh rested her head lightly against a shelf as she finished restocking returned books, letting out a soft sigh when she realized her shift was almost over. She slid the last few volumes into place, then leaned back for a moment to rub at her heel, sore from standing and walking all day. With a quiet shake of her shoulders, she headed to her desk, double-checking that everything was in order, papers stacked, computer logged off, and notes tucked away, before gathering her things, bag and walking out of the library.

Backstory
Anh was born in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, on February 5, 1998. Her parents were a Chinese father and a Vietnamese mother. She had unrealistic expectations for herself from an early age and would frequently mentally punish herself when she failed to live up to them. Despite her intense desire for her parents' approval, she never relied on their praise; unlike many children, her motivation came solely from within. Her early years were quiet but orderly, with lots of reading, studying, and self-imposed schedules. She was a gifted student, especially in languages and literature, but she never felt that her accomplishments were sufficient. Anh was socially reserved due to her perfectionism; she rarely let herself fully unwind around peers and instead observed others.
During her teenage years, Anh’s pressure on herself only intensified. She stayed up late reading and writing, breaking down ideas in her notebooks and losing her temper when she was unable to grasp something despite her best efforts. She would mutter that she was stupid, that she hadn't studied enough, and that she wasn't good enough while tears streamed down her cheeks. She felt humiliated by her mistakes and continuously punished herself mentally for falling short. She finally devised a daring plan at the age of 23 to make her parents proud: she moved to Japan under the pretense of having received a prestigious job offer, but in reality, she was just trying her luck and proving she could manage life overseas. She told herself that if the lie made her parents proud, then it was okay, even though it made her feel anxious and guilty. Though, adjusting to a new country wasn’t easy... Cultural differences, language barriers, and the isolation of starting over.
(24-27) Over the next few years, Anh settled into life in Japan, still pushing herself to impossibly high standards. She hadn’t landed the prestigious jobs she’d claimed to her parents... Something that stung, because no matter what she did, she could never make herself proud enough. Being unemployed and restless, she concentrated on staying organized, working overtime, and showing she could be responsible and do things properly. Eventually, she saw an opening in a school... And applied for a position as a librarian at Karakura High. It wasn’t the high-profile career she had imagined in her plans to impress her parents, but it offered stability, a sense of purpose at least and money for income.
Motivation for Joining KHS (Character perspective):
I wanted to prove to my parents that all of my schooling had been worthwhile and that I was capable of achieving something significant. That was already the case when I moved to Japan, but I needed a setting where I could effectively manage my responsibilities and apply my skills. I've always loved to read, so I figured that working in a library would be a great way for me to... fit in. KHS seemed like the perfect place for me to work hard and stay organized...
Why should you be accepted over the other applicants?:
Although I don’t have experience as a librarian, I am a TA and have learned a lot by observing coworkers in both the library and classroom settings. I’m able to focus on tasks for long periods of time, whether that’s studying, reading, or organizing materials, and I genuinely enjoy keeping spaces orderly and taking care of items. I pay attention to details and follow through on responsibilities, and while I’m still learning, I’m committed to doing things properly and efficiently!
