Describe your activity on SchoolRP:
I am currently trying to rebuild my activity since returning to the server. As I am in university, my activity may fluctuate corresponding to my lectures and homework, but thanks to the amount of free time that I have my activity shouldn't be horrendous.

Describe your roleplay experience with SchoolRP and other roleplay networks in general:
I had been active on the server since early 2019 until I had to leave in late August 2022. These years were filled with many different in-character roles that gave me different experiences that I could learn from. Before SchoolRP, I had also been active on another Minecraft roleplaying server, fantasy-themed, but it has long since shut down.

Criminology

TRIVIA SECTION

What is your motivation for becoming a professor?:
My motivation for becoming a professor is the sheer fact that I enjoy the subject in real life. Because my lectures are so unfathomably boring, becoming a professor will be a good way for me to revise topics as well as compress them into easy-to-read notes that could easily translate into in-character classes. Another reason is that I had been a professor during mid-2020 and I just simply want to revisit the faction.

Work out two interactive classes you will host if accepted:
1. The students come to class finding that all the desks had been pushed aside with a chalk outline of a person square in the middle. After being divided into groups sorted out by the professor, students would then have to investigate the classroom to find clues that had been left by the supposed perpetrator(s), with photos of possible suspects lined up on the chalkboard. A simple crime-scene scenario within the classroom could correlate with an ongoing class topic. The students that either discover who had committed the crime thanks to the clues or who were close enough would be rewarded.

2. A mock courtroom, possibly leading off from the first activity. Students will be assigned different roles such as the judge, lawyer, a few students as the jury and one selected as the defendant. Their roles would be given a week before to give them time to study what part their role has in court as well as giving the appropriate roles a made-up case that can be used in the court. This would be purely informational and just a bit of fun for the students.

Work out a field trip you will host if accepted:
A field trip to the KPD. Selected students will be taken on a tour inside the station. There, they will have to write down questions as well as any information given to them which will later be written out as a short essay. After the trip, the rest of the students would be taken to the courtroom where they would be able to watch an ongoing case which students can take information from and write down their own views on the case as well as their opinions on the verdict if given.


SCENARIO SECTION

Your character would encounter a group of college jocks surrounding a bobcat jock, what would your character do?
As any responsible teacher would do, Jomei would immediately break them up. Although he would approach it in a less threatening way than most, he would still remain wary of any sudden changes in the situation. Although he may not seem threatening and possibly even uncaring, you would most certainly not want to exploit his less authoritative approach.

Your character would be supervising detention, one of the students constantly disturbs by asking stupid questions, what would your character do?
Jomei would deal with the situation, doing his best to keep the individual behaved and getting them to refrain from asking questions. If the individual refused, Jomei would radio in for a member of the SLT. If there would be no response, he would leave a note at their office with a description of the event and the individual’s name.

Your character would be hosting a class, and a group of cheerleaders keeps on playing songs on the phone and call out other students in the class, what would your character do?
Jomei would ask them to be quiet, being straightforward but not in a brash way just to avoid any form of conflict to keep the classroom at peace. Although, if they begin insulting other students, then Jomei would probably put them in their place with his own response and get them to be quiet. If push comes to shove, Jomei would place them in detention the situation deteriorates or they do not refrain from talking.

Your character would be walking on the school perimeter and encounter a fight between a couple of students, your character tried to break it up but it didn't help, what would your character do?
Jomei would call for assistance, using the radio to ask for other members of the faculty to assist with calming the students down. Detentions would be given out, however, if the fight continues then the senior leadership team would be threatened and then contacted if continued. Jomei has no temper for violence.

Jomei is standardly attractive; usually presenting himself in casual, comfortable clothing and a mellow expression on his face. He stands at a height of five-foot-ten and talks with a softness in his baritone voice. Jomei likes to keep himself in shape with the idea in mind to remain as fit as he can as he progressed through life, so if he can’t be found, look in the gym. As a Japanese man, his almond-shaped eyes were dark in colour, similar to the loose curls that rolled down his shoulders; the sides shaved into a trendy mullet. Although he’s not incredibly unique, he would mostly be known as a pretty laid-back and chilled professor. Although not crazily strict, Ueno doesn’t mind the odd off-topic conversation during his classes. He also prefers to get to know his students and get them engaged rather than just read off a whiteboard to blank, uninterested faces and he does that by being as engaging and as interesting as possible. Personality-wise, Jomei has a pretty lax attitude towards most things. Although his hard-working side of him paid off by helping him persevere through his education, Jomei has finally found the more relaxed things in life. Relaxing at home, working on himself; hanging out with a collection of friends, all the things that he misses from his university days. Jomei is known by his friends as a hard-working, yet laid-back individual with an outgoing mindset and a headstrong attitude towards everything. He has no patience for violence, disliking it so much that he intended to use his qualifications to teach others about the ripple that certain violent actions can cause. His plans for the future are to find somewhere good to settle down and work as a lecturer in criminology as it is his passion and something he thoroughly enjoys. Although it would be nice, Jomei doesn’t mind finding himself climbing higher through the ranks; he would just enjoy settling in a place which would let him be just fine.

Describe how your character ended up becoming a teacher and their previous life. It is optional to include earlier life but recommended.
Jomei was born and raised in Osaka, Japan. He was birthed to kind-hearted parents who only wanted the best for him. They both had their own well-paying jobs so Jomei had a rather blessed childhood. During his education before his university years, Ueno was a very good student. He’d keep up with his homework, interact in class and keep his grades at a steady high mark. Outside of school, Jomei had a good-enough social life. Many friends he had made had remained with him up until this day whom he keeps in regular contact with. Although it is stereotypical for those straight-A students to be anti-social, Jomei was quite the opposite. Nights were spent clubbing when he reached university; drinking and partying as much as he could which did indeed lower his grades, but that was expected from doing that so much. The second year of university hit harder, and Jomei decided that it would probably be the best time to put his head down and get done whatever was needed in a timely and up-to-standard manner. Becoming a teacher was a dream of his since a young age, having been inspired by the impact that teachers can have on students. Whilst inspired by his teachers from the school, his mind was set on criminology thanks to the movies and shows that he had viewed growing up. It completely fascinated him, and he knew that’s exactly what he wanted to do. Since making up his mind, Jomei has been working his absolute butt off to achieve his goal.
