Auction house questions

So, the other day I had listed a few items in the auction house. I've just come on to check and I've checked manage listings to see what was left or not and everything is gone. I haven't gotten the money from the auctions so I'm wondering what happened to them. Does it just get thrown away if it doesnt sell? Im confused.

If items don't sell within a certain amount of time, they are returned to you.
Check the post office, and they should appear as packages, just like the items you buy from the Auction House.
