Backstory:
Inherited most physical traits from his father, even his blond hair and blue-gold heterochromia. Born and raised in the US. He was sent to study in Japan to hopefully improve his social skills. He's never been a talker, but he's always a good listener. Over the course of 5 years in Japan, he's made and lost a few friends, but one thing remains the same: he's not a talker around new people, and is prone to freezing up a bit when in an uncomfortable position, like a conversation he never thought he'd be a part of. While at school, he notices the only music in the community was that of theater. Being the band kid he is, he's currently thinking about starting a band at school.
He just needs to take the first steps.
