I would say I am quite active. I always at least try to get on everyday for 1-3 hours which is the minimum. I typically only get sick towards the end of the month and won’t be one for at least a day or two and if I have exams but besides that I will always be on!

What experiences do you have with roleplay?:
I have had quite a long experience of roleplaying either being personal servers with friends that had a deep story and required detailed roleplay. Additionally I am a part of a fantasy roleplay called Journey’s End that also deals with roleplaying, however that is a bit less detailed compared to srp. Lastly, a friend of mine recently got me back into detailrp and I had forgotten how fun it can be to describe in great detail how my characters will react to certain actions and what those actions may add to their stories later on. Recently I dabbled in romance rp which is such a fun experience because you can heavily focus on deep connections with another character and crazy emotions causing more fun actions.
What is your motivation for applying?
During my time back on srp I would say that my confidence has started to grow more and more while making me feel comfortable to branch out and apply myself. Joining a faction clearly is a great opportunity for me to expand my knowledge and to become a bigger part of the community rather than just staying to myself. The Hospital faction is the most intriguing with what it has to offer with heavily detailed roleplay specifically focusing on human and animal health, physical or mental. I have been quite interested in the human mind and knowing I can go into a deep dive genuinely excites me and motivates me to try my absolute best.

What knowledge do you have of the roles within the Hospital Faction?
(This is to gauge at your current understanding of the faction prior to acceptance)
Doctors task vary within the hospital faction but the fundamentals of being a doctor is to determine what is wrong with the patient and establish the best plan to move forward; example if a patient comes in and describes abdominal pain the attending must ask a follow of question and depending on what is answered an X-RAY’S, MRI’S, or prescribing drugs may be needed. A doctor will also be the main one to focus on treating cuts, stabs, daily check ups etc.
A psychiatrist unlike doctors focus on mental ailments which could differ from PTSD (Post-traumatic stress disorder), acute depression, major depression, anxiety disorder and many more. Psychiatrists must be able to demonstrate great patience and willingness to listen to their patients and decide what is the best path a patient takes to be able to get better for themselves.
Paramedics can always be relied on to respond immediately to out of call emergencies and treat on scene if there is not much they can do at the scene they will bring the patients to the hospital in an ambulance.
Finally a hospital director is on the top of the pyramid, they oversee each department within the hospital ensuring that each employee is doing their absolute best while patients are getting the care needed.

Character’s Full Name:
“My name Is Isidora Torres, I know my name can be kind of difficult to pronounce so don’t be afraid to refer to me as Isa for short!” Isa would be placing both of her hands on her hips while smiling brightly, slightly leaning her body in as she awaits a response.
Character’s Gender and Pronouns:
Tilting her head, taking a moment to think and tapping her index finger on her lip before her face lights up to answer! “I don’t really mind what pronouns you use but I do prefer using She/Her. It's what suits me the best!”
Character’s Age (if accepted):
“I may not look it but I recently just turned 30, Happy Birthday to me!” She starts to giggle to herself after the I may not look it comment, then places her arms behind her back swaying back and forth with a huge smile on her face.
Character’s Academic Background:

Her facial expression would turn serious still showing a smile but it seemed that the topic was something she held close to her heart. Body posture would return back to standing straight up and arms to her side. “I have been told from a young age that I can be very stubborn when it comes to my goals/dreams in life so when I researched how well known Karakura High School was and as a bonus it offered internships for the hospital, I was sold on the idea of moving to Japan, earning my high school degree, head off to college to receive my Bachelors degree in biology, and finally achieve my Doctoral degree (Psy.D). With all that under my belt I can do an internship at MantraCare Japan.” After finishing talking she would return to swaying back and forth and smiled ear to ear!

“I am Hispanic on my mothers side and Korean on my father's side. I am more in tune with my mother’s side because most of my life I lived in Santiago Chile but I tried my best to keep connected with my dad and his culture either by visiting Korea or studying to learn the language.” An excited tone could be heard when talking about her hometown, then she looks down at the ground slightly fidgeting with her nails, possibly bittersweet subject to her?
Character’s Marital Status:
“Marriage has not been in the cards for me yet but I can’t wait to meet the love of my life!” A red hue could be noticed on her face, she would quickly turn her head away avoiding eye contact while she uses both of her hands to fan herself. Poor Isa seemed to have gotten a bit embarrassed by the question.
Character’s Religious Denomination:
“Growing up in a Hispanic household christianity was always in my life.” Pauses for a moment, then quickly shakes her head and comes back to reality before clearing her throat and continuing to talk in her high pitched giddy tone. “However at the moment I don’t participate in the church but I am not opposed to going back one day”
Character’s Spoken Languages:
Another huge smile appeared when hearing the question about what languages she knows. She softly giggles before tapping all five of her fingers together leaning in close to ensuring whoever was listening could hear her well “My mother tongue is Spanish because it was what I was surrounded by but I always tried my best to converse with my father in Korean and continue to study so as not to fall behind.” “I believe knowing two languages is what helped me strive to learn Japanese as well! I’m still not a fluent speaker but I am confident in speaking with fluent people.” Placing her left hand on her hip then with her right hand flinging her hair back, she seemed quite proud at the fact how many languages she knew. (I still need to apply for Spanish for her but just haven’t had the chance.)

Isidora's life was pretty normal for the most part, she did have a few uphill battles usually stemming from her parents. Isidora never saw eye to eye with her parents as they were quite conservative and she never got the idea of judging others just because they didn’t follow the same ideals. However that never stopped her from trying to help educate her parents because regardless of not sharing the same ideals she loved her family.

What is your character’s medical speciality? Why did they choose this focus?

Isidora specialized in psychiatry. She chose to specialize in psychiatry because she had firsthand experience with how bad mental health can get if not properly treated. Her coming from a conservative Hispanic and Korean household, it was not unheard of to not take mental health seriously. However, Isidora never knew what she could do to change this stigma until one day she met an older gentleman. This gentleman told Isa he was here as a program to help those in poverty receive medical help, either physical or mental. Shocked that such things existed, she flew questions left and right at the gentleman before he had to tell her to slow down and informed her that if she was truly interested in everything he was saying to try to apply for a medical field. She was absolutely smitten with the idea that she could help people and that doctors could specialize in mental health
Does your character have any work experience in medical positions?
The only medical experience Isidora has was an internship at MantraCare Japan which offered clinical exposure, however that is all the experience she has had as of now.

Describe your character; how do they look, what makes them unique? How would they be perceived by others?
Isidora has long fluffy hair that was dyed with multiple different stands which complimented her tan olive skin and dark brown eyes. She would be quite short, reaching around 4’5ft (134 cm), if you noticed her left arm there would be a tattoo of blue orchid flowers wrapping around before being cut off from her shirt. Be careful when coming into contact with Isidora because she can talk your ear off in the hopes of becoming friends, her personality being quite bubbly, almost giving a similar vibe of a puppy wagging its tail. You could at least know that Isidora will be a friend for life with how loyal she can be.
How does your character act around the hospital?
Working in the hospital, Isidora always tries her best to act in a professional manner but she would want people especially her patients to feel comfortable around her trying to achieve this by always keeping her bright personality with a lovely smile on her face during work hours.
Does your character function better on their own or with others?
She can be a great team player due to her bubbly personality but her determination to succeed greatly pushes her to be able to work on her own. To summarize you can rely on Isidora but she will do well by herself.
