ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: I had accidentally equipped it during the a model change to the small model and had gotten my head, so I reluctantly put my head on hoping it'd just take the ballistic off my face and return the head, but it returned the head and removed my ballistic entirely, getting rid of it.
