Why are Teachers so important to SchoolRP?:
In my opinion, SchoolRP cannot function without teachers! It represents the server and the purpose of the game. You need teachers that are attentive, ready and willing to teach the kids about daily, and historical things that benefit and shape the mind! When I first joined the server, seeing that there were roles that helped play and make the server more engaging and realistic made role playing so much more enjoyable! For all the classes, and subjects that are there, they cannot be played out properly without teachers that are qualified and ready to serve the students accordingly. They are some of the most admirable people that children can meet when they are encouraging and passionate about what they teach! Teachers are important in SchoolRP because they drive the story, shape the world of Karakura, improve character development, keep the RP dynamic and, the teachers presence in general keeps the authenticity that you'd want in any other role play!
Do you acknowledge that if you are inactive you may lose your role?: Yes
Do you agree to undergo teacher training if your application is successful?: Yes

What's your character's full name?:
Hymari L. Koya
What is your character's nationality?:
USA & Japanese Nationality (Has full citizenships in both countries)
What is your preferred subject to teach?:
Physical Education - Health & Exercise
Describe your character:
Hymari was a taller woman then most, standing at 5' 11, 29 years old, she had a light tan, and she had a loving presence as well. She always strived to achieve the best, and wanted the same for others. She was very fit, and enjoys exercise, however, she's not some basic athlete. She's always wanted to prepare others with the same goals she has, which is to be strong, physically and mentally! One of her biggest goals is to simply reach out to those who want to grow! And she wants to be a part of that journey in their lives, and be a role model to those who need it!
What is your character's outlook on students and co-workers?:
Respect is a key factor. Even those who wont show respect back, humans deserve rights and one is human decency. She believes that no matter the person or backstory, as long as one is there to learn, or help, she wants whats best for them! Showing kindness even when people are hating, can outweigh the darkest moments. She believes no matter what, showing love is the most beneficial thing because it has the power to soften anger, heal wounds, and remind people of their shared humanity!
What is your character's motivation for teaching?:
In her childhood she struggled with the loss of her father and younger sister in a car accident, and it damaged her mind. She fell into depression and lost all motivation to work and stay healthy. But it was the moment she realized that nobody is going to sweep you off your feet and rescue you. She decided from that day forward, what happens in your life can either define you or help you grow, and she wanted that message to be shared to everyone. It's what you do from hard situations that help shape you into the person you're meant to be, and that's exactly why Phys. Ed. is so important to her. She wants others to be motivated when put in tougher situations, whether that's extreme workouts, or team spirit. Being surrounded by people that can help, shape, inspire, and improve, can mold a character into the person they are meant to be!

Roleplay Scenarios
A student in class is struggling to understand the content, what would your character do?:
Hymari is very charismatic, and at the same time attentive! She is the type of person to check on each of her students if they seem off. She wants to get to know her students. If a character is struggling, she won't meddle, but she will check in on them. If they need advice she will do her best to help them in the best way possible!
A student is continuously being disruptive in class, talking out of turn, and making jokes with classmates. What would your character do?:
She would take them outside to talk first and she would ask why they are disrupting the class. If they don't give a valid reason they will be formally kicked out of class to be dealt with later. If they continue disturbances like this in the future without any valid reasons, excuses or not, its sensible to punish them with detention. However, if there is a fight among 2 students, she will immediately step in and break it up and both students will be given detention because violence is not the answer!
Provide at least 2 interactive class ideas related to your preferred subject:
Interactive Idea #1: Class would start with a self-reflective question, and then the teacher would call on 1-2 students who feel comfortable to share their answers. Secondly she would move onto the task of the day, which would either be related to exercises, how it benefits our health, or certain sports topics that are modernly affecting the world, whether positively or negatively.
Interactive Idea #2: Class would start with a basic "Good Morning, how was everyones week." And maybe tell a joke of the day. She would then shift the classes gaze to a discussion about favorite sports! And then they would move to play one of the top picks, whether dodge ball, basketball, baseball or even soccer.
Interactive Idea #3: Class starts and the teacher would say a greeting, and begin class by asking for students to raise their hands if they have good stretching exercises. She would then write them out on the board, and then talk about how stretching is beneficial by helping ones flexibility and range of motion, and improving ones health in general because it can reduce the chance of injuries in certain activities. And then she will take the class to the roof or the gym room to practice some of the stretches talked about in class.
Have you read and understand the Teacher Application Guidance thread? Yes
Additional notes: Thank you for taking the time to read through my application, I enjoyed writing this, and best of luck to all other applicants! Have an amazing day/night!
