With this being unusual, her dad, Kenji Maki, took it to himself to go overseas and show his daughters the beauty in life. Their trip to France was a success. Both of them enjoyed the better things in life, but their father looked over their true values. While their dad was at work, their mom was a somewhat known author for her creative and realistic poems. Yumari spent most of her time in her office, observing the environment around her. This greatly influenced her passion for journaling. The silence she sat in as a child in her study made her adore sitting in silence overall.
