FILESGENERAL
Moriel Maeng claims the following:
- Moriel made the original wax sculpture. This was designed as a one-off prank.
- Moriel does not know who produces the rest of the wax sculptures.
- The wax sculptures appear in front of the Maeng Residence.
- Since too many wax sculptures appear, Moriel tends to give them away.
- Moriel tries to have fun with them, as to not let a creepy situation get the better of him.
The Wax Sculptures contain the following physical properties:

These opinions tend to align with one of the following:
- Positive (Amused): People who express fondness and/or desire for wax sculptures for mischievous or decorative means.
- Positive (Ritualistic): Those who have developed unlikely ritualistic behavior towards the wax statues. This takes form in various ways (shrines, verbal praise/worship, etc.)
- Negative (Aggression): In response to the wax sculptures, some have developed a violent instinct toward the sight of Moriel Maeng and/or the wax sculptures.
- Negative (Fear): People who fear Moriel Maeng as a result of the wax statues. These people have often been the victim of a prank or supernatural experience regarding the wax sculptures.
- Negative (Speculation): A number of people speculate that Moriel Maeng himself is actually a sentient wax sculpture.
- Negative (Superstition): Accusations that the wax sculptures are all possessed/sentient and malicious in nature have been voiced by multiple people.
- Negative (Disappointment): Those who are generally unhappy with the wax sculptures for none of the other reasons, presumably for the absurdity of it. Some tend to accuse Moriel of being a narcissist in response to the statues.
- Nickname: Moriel Maeng often hears whispers referring to him as ''Wax Man.''
After many people have voiced concerns regarding whether the wax sculptures are sentient, paranormal, or demonic, Moriel Maeng visited two places:
THE SHRINE:
Moriel Maeng brought a wax sculpture with him to the shrine to ask about it. He spoke with the shrine maiden known as Haruka T. Hanazono regarding the situation. Haruka mentions that the Shrine's tree forms a protective barrier against malicious spirits. Therefore, if an evil spirit were inhabiting the specific statue he brought, it would've not been able to enter.
THE OCCULT CLUB:
Moriel Maeng spoke with the Occult Club leader at the time, Erik Finster. Moriel asked about the likelihood of the wax sculptures being a possessed object. Erik, in return, suggests that Moriel having a stalker is the more likely explanation.

The wax sculptures have been known to come to life within the walls of the Occult Club.
They tend to follow certain behavior:
"Six students and one Caretaker were haunted by the wax statue of Moriel Maeng, two of them physically attacked and hurled through the air!"
"The Moriel Maeng Wax figure attacked one last student but was ultimately destroyed when the room was purged - Banishing the Specter."
- Occult Club Discord (ErikFinster)

Although the producer behind the wax sculptures is unknown. Based on general public knowledge, there are a few people who would be more likely suspected than others:
MORIEL MAENG
It'd be reasonable to assume that the face is the one behind the statue. After all, he claims to have made the first one but never any of the successive instances.
KANAHO KAMUI
Kanaho has displayed a cultish following and obsession toward the wax statues. Could this obsession be attributed to the production of the statues?
FLOHR NARODITSKY
Flohr has ambitious dreams and dramatization for performances involving the wax statues. Is it possible that Flohr has ulterior motives for making wax statues regarding her showman goals?
JAMES PRETZEL
James has been known to cling onto Moriel and attach himself despite Moriel's efforts to push him away. Perhaps, this could be attributed to a stalking situation regarding the wax statues?

MAENG RESIDENCE MEMBERS
The Maeng Residence houses many people. Perhaps, one of the ones currently taking residence there is responsible? It'd make sense: This group of people are able to get close enough to make an accurate depiction of Moriel himself. This would include: Ahri Maeng, Fae Rouzet Maeng, Mylo Maeng, Shira Maeng, Hayami Maeng, Chyou Ma-Ri Maeng, Jeong-Won Maeng, Canna Kimura. Sid Hwang Ōmori also has a dedicated tent and is known to crash there sometimes.

CHAPTER 1: IDEA
*This is a directly transcribed IC conversation.
MORIEL
"Is it really just the fangs?"
MORIEL
"Yeah."
MORIEL
"But is it like, just the fangs making them hot?"
MORIEL
"How much of their hotness comes from the fangs? Percentage-wise."
MORIEL
"What's the other fifty percent?"
MORIEL
"That's like 70% fangs then, right?"
???
"Pretty much!"
MORIEL
"Okay, but where is the thirty percent hotness coming from? Like, is it what they wear? The fancy talk?"
CHAPTER 2: OBSESSION
??? has a long-standing crush on Moriel Maeng.
Moriel, was aware of this, but is under the impression that ???'s feelings have faded. Moriel appreciates ??? as a friend, but does not reciprocate any romantic feelings.
After some playful arguments between Moriel and ???, with Moriel refusing to put on the vampire costume, ??? decides to take matters into his own hands.
Unbeknownst to Moriel Maeng, a wax mannequin vaguely resembling Moriel is constructed and made inside the apartment of ???. It was placed in an isolated unused bedroom. Guests would likely not see it. This mannequin was dressed up in vampire clothes, as a means of coping.
CHAPTER 3: FAMILY PRANK
Moriel Maeng decides that he'd like to prank his family members. As such, he spends an incredible amount of time studying his proportions and detailing a wax sculpture of himself. It looks nearly identical to him.
The prank's objective was as follows:
Moriel Maeng would place the wax sculpture in the living room. When his siblings returned, they'd be greeted by the wax sculpture. Theoretically, the siblings would try to speak with the decoy as Moriel Maeng would observe the results of his prank in hiding.
The statue is left standing for a considerable amount of time. As such, eventually ??? becomes aware of this.
CHAPTER 4: MASS PRODUCTION
??? is fascinated by this wax sculpture. Considering this person has made their own replica, which wasn't as accurate.
Using the wax sculpture as a template, ??? begins to hand carve identical copies.
Partially fueled by their prank war, and partially fueled by an intense longing, ??? begins to anonymously deliver wax sculptures to the Maeng Residence. However, it never stops. The wax sculpture production continues and is delivered to the house when nobody is paying attention.
Moriel, unsure of what to do with the surplus statues, begins distributing them to the public.

CHARACTER-SPECIFIC INCIDENTS
A mysterious incident regarding the wax sculptures has caused Marseille M. Amias (previously known as Milo Chad Amias) to experience a moment of insanity.
Milo was brought to the church, where he groaned loudly and repeatedly made exclamations regarding the wax sculptures. Eventually, Milo would repeatedly scream Moriel's name. KPD officers arrived and surrounded Milo, uncertain of the situation. In the end, he was brought to the hospital. It is unknown to the general public at this time what caused Milo's psychological break.

Kanaho Kamui often expresses to Moriel Maeng that she wants to "learn the way of the wax." Having experienced countless trauma regarding wax sculptures, Moriel Maeng advises against it. In an almost cult-like manner, Kanaho insists and is fascinated by the concept of the wax sculptures.
Kanaho can sometimes be witnessed performing some sort of chant in front of Moriel Maeng wax sculptures.
In the walls of the Kamui family's apartment, Kanaho houses a ritualistic room dedicated to the study of the wax sculptures. Kanaho expresses that the wax sculptures have told her that they want to be set free.

During a patrol, the KPD has stopped by the Maeng Residence after spotting the Tower of Moriels (a visual gag in which multiple statues were stacked on top of each other).
Moriel Maeng went outside to greet the officers, as KPD expressed their disapproval.

During Ugo Topo's Design Technology (Workshop) Class, Ugo instructed students to design small wooden toy soldiers. Ugo Topo approached Moriel Maeng before this, asking for assistance with supervising the class.
Chiyo K. Komatsu chooses to carve and paint a small wooden figure depicting Moriel Maeng. A concerned Moriel questions how she was able to depict him so accurately. Chiyo responds with, "I've studied you closely."
Bobby Box, presumably inspired by this, creates his own figurine of Moriel Maeng. He reveals it, saying, "I made a figurine of Mr. Maeng."
Moriel becomes paranoid about how common knowledge his proportions are due to the wax sculptures.
