On this account, just Grade 12.

Why are Teachers so important to SchoolRP?:
It’s in the name, SchoolRP. Arguably the most important part of a school is the teachers. Without a teacher there would be no class. Without a class, there is no school. The teachers in the server are hand picked, and you don’t get that in every server, which is what makes us the best.
Do you acknowledge that if you are inactive you may lose your role?: Yes
Do you agree to undergo teacher training if your application is successful?: Yes
In-Character Section
What's your character's full name?: Bora Barlowe
What is your character's nationality?: Korean
What is your preferred subject to teach?: Art
Describe your character:
Bora is a shorter man, with blonde hair and green eyes. He was, in every sense, a twink. He wanted to be a family man, even if not the most conventional family. Art was his passion, as it was the staple to his sobriety journey.
What is your character's outlook on students and co-workers?:
Bora often looked up to his co-workers, both physically and mentally. He was friendly and sociable with them. His students, he’d often look at as a strict older brother. With care, yet stern when it came to respect or behavior, lenient when appropriate.
What is your character's motivation for teaching?:
As stated previously, art was a staple to Bora’s sobriety, as it helped him express feelings in a way that worked for his brain, and as a result he wanted others to have the opportunity to try their hand at art (both literally and metaphorically.) He wanted to be there to teach what he knew about art, help give suggestions to stir inspiration and creativity, and facilitate a safe space for students to be vulnerable and open, especially when it came to what they could put into paper.
Roleplay Scenarios
A student in class is struggling to understand the content, what would your character do?:
He was patient and understanding. Every artist knows the feeling of artist block all too well. Instead of the daily assignment, Mr. Barlowe would assign prompts related to the assignment, that are meant to inspire a student and help practice the skill despite the block.
A student is continuously being disruptive in class, talking out of turn, and making jokes with classmates. What would your character do?:
Barlowe was undertanding at first, letting the student off with a stern warning. “Not the time nor place, please sit down and keep your eyes on your own paper.” Barlowe warned. Usually, he allowed students to talk amongst themselves while working, who was he to inhibit them from sharing inspiration, and flowing the creativity?
However, if the student talked back or continued their behavior, he would ask them to leave the classroom for a few moments to calm down before allowing them to return. If the behavior persisted, he’d hand the student a detention slip and ask them to leave the classroom, as to not disturb the students classmates for the remainder of the period.
Provide at least 2 interactive class ideas related to your preferred subject:
Bora valued both interpretation and creativity. As such, he has plans tied to both areas. 1.) Six random objects are placed on separate tables, in the middle. The students would be instructed to draw the objects exactly as they saw them on the table. This helped them to work on their hand-eye coordination, important in most art styles, and general realism skill. It also let Bora know where each student was in terms of strengths and weaknesses, which would help determine the course of the next class. 2.) The students are given 20 minutes to draw based on a simple prompt, and are given 3 prompts in the 60 minute class period. The prompts may be something as simple as a street lamp, but would illicit different thoughts for each student, some being as simple as recreating what they saw, or others would create a whole storyline to the visual. Either way was up to the student and what skill they were looking to develop. 3.) Over the course of the school year, students are given a brown cardboard folder meant to hold all of their drawing materials and work for the class. If the student had free time during class, or wanted to work on it at home, they were to decorate this folder however they wanted, but were encouraged to be as creative as possible, whether a student wanted to bedazzle their folder, or color a tree using markers, was all up to them.
