The times I’m active may change, but as a student I’m on for at least 38+ hours each week. Most of my free time is spent on the server, enjoying every aspect of it. The roleplay opportunities and writing experiences I gain make me love it a little more every day. These times are the times I’m usually available for events, unless there are other things I have to prioritize. In addition to the times I listed of availability, I’m also able to be online from 5AM - 7:30AM, depending on how awake I am.

Describe your roleplay experience with SchoolRP and other roleplay networks in general:

Through all the years I’ve roleplayed and created stories, I’ve had about seven years of experience. In my first three years I joined some Roblox communities, where most people start. I hadn’t known that at the time, only knowing that I loved writing and reading. I went on to roleplay fantasy and other things of that nature, enjoying every moment of it. Once I got more advanced in my skill I wanted more, but couldn’t find any for a long while.

I had quit roleplaying and focused more on simple games and finding friends online. With finding friends online, that came with joining new servers and playing more games. One of the times I spoke to someone, they introduced me to SRP. I was a bit skeptical since I’d put roleplaying in my past and didn’t plan to pick it back up, but after the first week of experimenting and playing the server, I started to enjoy it in a different way than I had in Roblox servers. When I joined SRP it was new and the coding shocked me, even though that was just the start of it. I found it way more realistic and interesting than other roleplay communities, which led me to stay, take a longer break than I ever would’ve liked to, then come back. This has all helped me to be the roleplayer I am today.

As for the things I do currently in SRP for roleplay, I tend to lead my characters towards drama or fun. I had recently joined highschool feminine football, yet they purged the roster and my captain left very soon after. The factions and shops I’ve joined so far have been great to me, thought, welcoming me like I was already their friend. I’d love to be in another welcoming and fun community to expand my knowledge of SRP and roleplay itself.

What are your current roles on SchoolRP:
[Grade-11] Hae-Yeon Kimura (Bloomerparty)
[Cat] 'Sir Meow Meow' (Bloomerparty)
[Grade-12] Akane Stark-Kuznetsova (Bloomerparty)
[Grade-10] Soo-ah Kimura (applying on. . . Bloomerparties)
And a few other characters but, they don't have any tags besides Grade-12 and under. The day I submitted this application highschool feminine football got purged, so I lost that role, unfortunately.

What is the subject you want to teach?:
3D Art.

TRIVIA SECTION

What is your motivation for becoming a professor?:

My motivation for becoming a professor depends on many reasons. The main one I’ve always branched off of was roleplay quality. Every time I interact with a professor I enjoy the roleplay and experience I get out of it. The classes are well thought-out and I’d love to be able to plan classes myself. I’ve always wanted to do something in the school part of SRP and being in a position to teach new and existing players was always the main idea. I find it extremely fun to be able to write out anything and perform it, I feel like a class would give me that same opportunity.

Work out two interactive classes you will host if accepted:

1.

Mask decorating
In this class students will need:
A clean mask, a pencil, and paint!
“Come grab a mask from the front table. There are paints and markers on the front table as well for you guys to use. If you need a pencil, you can come to me for one! Draw, color, or paint the mask in any way you see fit. It’s your own, make it unique. I’ll be around if you have any questions”

2.
Cardboard Animal Sculptures
In this class students will need:
Pieces of cardboard, paint or markers, a pencil, scissors, and
glue or tape.
“There’s cardboard on the front table along with paint and markers. Make sure to grab a pair of scissors to cut out the sizes you’ll need for your cardboard animal, and don’t be shy to make it a box. Cardboard cutting can be hard! If you have any questions or need help with the project, let me know!”

Work out a field trip (meaning a class outside school grounds) you will host if accepted:

The field trip would consist of Soo-ah bringing the students outside to the forest near the entrance or in sight of it with permission, allowing them to pick one out of two activities to take part in.

Paper boat: This activity is simply making a little paper boat out of strong construction paper that Miss Kimura also bought. The students will be shown how to fold the edges correctly in order to make their boat. After they’ve folded the boat into its perfect shape, they’ll be allowed to decorate it or make a small flag to add to it. Once they feel their boat is ready to take sail, they’ll be allowed to place it into a small pond in the forest!

Stick fort: This activity is a bit more complicated, requiring students to gather sticks from around or anything they see loosely laying around to work on their creative problem solving. After they’ve gathered sticks or logs, or whatever object they’ve found to make their fort out of, they’ll be allowed to start on it! They could work with one partner, a few partners, the whole class, or simply by themselves. When they’ve got their fort built, they can sit in it and take cute photos, or maybe even decorate it with leaves!

SCENARIO SECTION

Your character would encounter a group of college jocks surrounding a bobcat jock, what would your character do?

Soo-ah would walk up to assess the situation, saying “What’s going on here? Is everyone alright?” in the calmest but sternest tone she could while she kept a close eye on all of them. She waited for an answer or reaction, still processing it herself.

If anyone was hurt or injured: Soo-ah would quickly separate the group of jocks, taking the injured student and leading them to the nurse. After getting the student to the nurse and into a bed, she would either intercom or ask a co-worker to. The intercom would be for the select students to come down to the nurse's office to face further punishment or questioning

If no one was hurt or bruised: Soo-ah would simply separate the tense situation, asking the students what happened again in a respectful, yet worried tone. “Someone tell me what’s going on.” While she had the question up in the air, she would add a request, “Let me see your knuckles, elbows and knees.” Afterwards, Soo-ah would go to report the incident to a caretaker and ensure she could see the camera footage for a clearer image of what happened, as well to ensure that everyone was safe and no lies were being told that could require punishment.

Your character would be supervising detention, one of the students constantly disturbs by asking stupid questions, what would your character do?

Soo-ah would give a verbal warning for them to quit twice, saying something like this for the first time they interrupted, “You need to be quiet and focus on your work, please stop asking questions that aren’t important to your assignment.” The second warning would be more of a threat, “If you do not quit, an SLT report will be made.”

If they stopped: Soo-ah would simply wait for the student to be done with their work while continuing to supervise the other students. She’d make sure no one was distracting another student, assuring that the detention could be seen through properly!

If they continued: Soo-ah would follow her threat and file an SLT report or call an SLT if they were available to deal with a disruptive student.

Your character would be hosting a class, and a group of cheerleaders keeps on playing songs on the phone and calling out other students in the class, what would your character do?

Soo-ah would speak up to give the students a stern warning through her lesson, “Please turn your phones off and stop distracting your fellow students and peers. It’s disrespectful.” Once she’d stated this, she would go back to teaching.

If they stopped: Soo-ah would continue on with her class as normal, instructing the students on how to do that days project while watching the cheerleader closely to make sure they had actually quit their distractions.

If they continued: Soo-ah would provide another warning, “If you continue you will be kicked out of the class, please don’t make me have to do that.” A huff came out of her as she hoped that would be the end of it. Seeing as it wasn’t and the cheerleaders kept causing disruptions, she followed through with her threat and kicked them from the class, saying, “Please only come back to my class when you’re sure you can act correctly in an academic environment beside other students.”

Your character would be walking on the school perimeter and encounter a fight between a couple of students, your character tried to break it up but it didn't help, what would your character do?

Soo-ah frowned towards the students fighting, hoping a crowd wouldn’t form around them while watching to see just exactly which students they were. First, she would attempt to call a member of SLT, though if no one came she would jot all of their names down on her phone, making a note to write an SLT report on the entire situation with all of their names. In the report, she would specify which students were actually throwing the hits and which were witnesses.

CHARACTER KNOWLEDGE

Tell us everything you know about the character you will be playing in a few paragraphs. What do they look like? What makes them unique and different? What is their outlook on students? What about the other teachers? What is their personality like? What is their plan for the future?

Soo-ah is a charming and quiet female, walking in confident footsteps with the clicks of her heels following like the scent of coffee attached to her like a moth to light. Her thin and slightly wavy dirty blonde hair matches her caramel energy. She was usually seen holding a warm cup of coffee with a lovely smile pasted on her face, dimples popping up to show how unique her look was. Her muddy pools of irises would glow in the sun with the woman’s expressions, looking relaxing and comforting like honey.

Soo-ah sees students and co-workers with just as much respect as she sees herself, a lot. She maintains a calm speaking tone with most of anyone in nearby every situation. Under any case of pressure or frustration with another person, she rarely gets angry or raises her voice. Soo-ah has found that by doing this she’s been able to make closer bonds.

Soo-ah carries herself with confidence and sass from an outside perspective, but to those who have met and know her, she’s respectful and sweet. Her demeanor seems like she’d judge you or scoff at any mere interaction, but she’s just the opposite!

Her plan for the future is simple, in her head. After studying for countless years, planning and planning for the moment, she's able to re-unite with her daughter fully. She's got a firm plan for what she wants set in place, to raise her kids to the fullest and spoil them and to settle down with a husband and a loyal set of kind people as her friends.

Describe how your character ended up becoming a teacher and their previous life. It is optional to include earlier life but recommended.
Make sure this is over 100 words.

On a cold winter day in December, a couple walked out of the hospital, newborn in the father’s arms in a beautiful blue swaddle. Her mother named her Soo-ah, a precious blonde baby girl, her hair was lighter in color then. As she grew up, her hair got darker while her vision faded, glasses being given to her at a young age, which she disliked. The young girl grew up with an older brother, three years apart, yet as close as any pair of siblings. As they matured, that changed.

Little ten year old Soo-ah looked over her newborn little sister’s cradle when she was ten, looking at the lovely brunette giggling and cooing while her mother told her the difference between her and her sister, that her sister couldn’t hear. Soo-ah understood at that moment that things would be much different from then on, yet all young Soo-ah cared about was that her little sister would be loved and cared for in the way she deserved. Her older brother, Hikaru had grown more distant in this time period, only being more rebellious towards their parents with the more time unsupervised he had thanks to their parents taking care of Yoon-Seok.

Simple disagreements and scoldings shifted to screaming matches between her father and older brother, watching them bicker over dinner or his most recent call from local police. Nothing had gotten physical, but Soo-ah didn’t like the atmosphere anyway. Instead, she spent more time with her mother who had also wanted to get away from home at the marine biology camp her mother worked at.

Soo-ah would go to school, come home, eat dinner, then immediately leave to go back to her mother’s workplace. Most nights, she’d fall asleep there as well after her mother had tried to teach her something new about one of the most recent orcas they were helping, or a random sea turtle. Soo-ah loved what her mother was interested in, but she was more attracted to the swim team that was having a set of tryouts in a few months. Thanks to months of practice before the tryout, she made the cut easily. After she made it on the team, all she wanted to do was focus on becoming the best swimmer there, and everywhere in Korea.

Soo-ah went through her teen phases as any other teenager would, moody and closed up. The fighting every time she walked in the door didn’t help her or anyone else. Her father and mother had begun fighting by this point as well, her father’s argument being that her mother never disciplined Hikaru and her mother’s being that she didn’t want to turn into the toxic person he was. Soo-ah and Yoon-Seok simply watched on the sidelines while Hikaru escaped out the front door while his parents weren’t looking to go to another terrible party with the worst kinds of people.

Soo-ah didn’t want to disappoint her father, so she dropped by the home often, though she rarely slept a night there. While she was there, over dinner, she’d talk to her little sister or giggle along with all the new things she had to tell her, all being done over sign language. Her mother had taught her and her brother this so that they could communicate with Yoon-Seok. Even if she did stop by to talk to her little sister and enjoy a meal, that didn’t mean her home environment got any less toxic.

On Soo-ah’s fifteenth birthday, one of her gifts given by her team was the lovely title of ‘Swim Captain’ on a large bulletin board, her name one of the biggest things on it. She was in awe of it, choosing her best friend of seven years, Mai to be her co-captain. The two had grown up with each other since both of their mothers worked at the same place, letting their daughters interact often, considering they were also on the same swim team. With the titles they achieved, they were now able to teach kids how to swim, both of them being incredibly excited to do so.

A few years passed before seventeen year old Soo-ah walked in from the heat only to be met with yelling while she set her coat and bookbag down. She had just come home from a rough day of school, looking around for where her mother was in the madness, who was nowhere to be seen. The house seemed louder and more crowded this time. Even Yoon-Seok hadn’t stuck around to see all the mess, even when she usually would. That’s how Soo-ah knew this was probably the worst fight they’d had as her eyes traced the area, seeing multiple plates smashed against the expensive kitchen flooring. Her father was backing her brother up into the counter, with her brother retaliating the same. They both screamed in each other’s faces.

By the time Soo-ah was ready to yell out asking what the hell was exactly happening, her brother had already scrambled away, packing a bag and heading out the door, her father yelling pointlessly at her brother who was already shuffling into his car, the one with scratches all over it, and random dents from near accidents. Soo-ah tried to calm each of them down and get her brother to come back inside, but all in vain.

The car vroomed off recklessly, almost slamming into the mailbox. He knew there was a tropical storm on the way, or at least Soo-ah assumed he did. A few moments later a notification appeared on her phone screen with a ding, ‘Going to a friend's place, I’ll stay there during the storm since you’re all assholes.’ From her brother of course, Soo-ah didn’t worry too much, since he had tons of friends and he stayed there often. That was until she got the call.

The storm had cut off connection to any devices for a few days, assuming they’d see Hikaru walking through the front door any second. After all, he was twenty. He went to parties and picked girls up as he pleased, not listening to anyone, unless they wanted him to pay the bills on time, which he didn’t. The call the family received when their phones had stable connection again was gut-turning. Soo-ah was the first one to hear it over the line, a formal man apologizing for her loss. All she could do was tell her parents, then walk upstairs hearing them sob. The first time she’d seen her father cry and her mother break down on the floor with Yoon-Seok staring from the dining room table, her little hand still holding a crayon while a few coloring pages laid on the table. Poor girl.

Soo-ah had multiple thoughts about telling her sister what had happened in sign language, but she could never bring herself to. A few months after her brother had died and she’d turned eighteen, she received an acceptance letter in the mail to her dream college, choosing to attend as soon as she could. She packed her bags the night of, telling her parents the same day. In the morning, she left at the break of dawn, telling nothing to her little sister, one of her biggest regrets. Soo-ah slid into her car and left her horrible childhood home for good, ignoring her need for closure over her brother’s death and taking on a new path in life.

While Soo-ah went to lectures and attended classes in the day, at night she was someone different. To forget about her brother’s death, she would go to bars, raves, concerts and festivals. During one of these forgotten nights, she’d woken up in the morning nauseous and sick, yet she didn’t think anything of it. Only when she continued to feel the symptoms without parties was when she knew something was wrong. She was pregnant, with a baby girl.

Her pregnancy made her anxious and overwhelmed, deciding to do what was best for the baby. After a few months of caring for her newborn, she handed off Hae-Yeon to her friend Mai, who she was still connected with. Luckily, they lived in the same home and Mai already had her degree. Mai gave Hae-Yeon everything a child could ever dream for while Soo-ah visited every other day, or maybe if she was lucky, every day. Hae-Yeon was enrolled into ballet and loved her Aunt Mai, while keeping her mother close. Soo-ah planned to take back full guardianship shortly after she got a job, aiming to teach like she used to, except on a different topic. She took on art, for her little sister Yoon-Seok who loved to craft, draw and create.
