List your current and past IC/OOC faction applications:
I am currently on the HS-M VB team, don’t know if that counts. Other than that, I have not applied for any other factions.
Describe your activity on the server:
I play almost daily! Working from home makes it a bit easier to be on when needed, or when I feel a little inkling for some roleplay. It’s usually between an hour to three hours mainly. I am still relatively new, starting back in late July of 2025, but I have really valued my time here. It originally was supposed to be a just “one time” thing, but I am still playing daily, so we see how that went. . . In my earlier days of playing, I dabbled a bit in GangRP, which definitely increased my activity on the server. I had always really enjoyed the volleyball plugin though, spending a lot of free time trying to learn it. Eventually I decided that I would like to try out for the team, since to me it was a big highlight of the server, and yippe! I got in!
After joining volleyball and exploring with JockRP, it felt like a completely different side of the server that I hadn’t prior experienced. I still dip my toe in from time to time with some CrimeRP, but one off things rather than it being ALL I do now. I really enjoy being on a team, the amount of ICLY drama was NAWWWT something I expected. But overall, it’s been a fun experience, meeting new people both ICLY and OOCLY and opening the doors to both roleplay and friends! Recently, I have been dabbling into BandRP with friends as well, taking a little bit of a different route and creating songs that can be taken ICLY, and hopefully being able to perform them eventually! Along with another character I have, who is also my volleyball character, being in a band as well, with a small upcoming performance soon heh.
What is your motivation for applying?:
Like I've mentioned before, I am still new-ish to the server, but I have always thought KPD has looked so fun. At that point, never would I have imagined myself actually applying to join, I didn’t even think I would want to join any faction at all. I mainly just did a little bit of trolling or interacted with ONLY my friends I had joined with. With the growth that I have made on the server, seeking out new opportunities and roleplay, KPD was always a personal want. When my main, and only character at the time, got arrested (Lol) I got to see a little bit more of the roleplay that comes with being an officer.
You would think after that, I might be a bit deterred, but nope! It really piqued my interest, and from being someone who has had some IRL experience in studying laws and forensics, it really intrigued me how the roleplay does, in some ways, mimic a real scenario. It just seemed really fascinating. Obviously it's not one to one but still! I have never been in a faction before, nor have I ever applied for one, so this all is/would be a new experience for me. Writing this app alone, I’ve never locked into writing this much since like. . . highschool. But it’s been really fun to push my writing abilities! But trying something new is what I am seeking for, and I think joining KPD would be something really fun and interesting to learn and experience!
What knowledge do you have of Police Work?
Though I do not have much particular knowledge on how the KPD operates, I do know a few general things. I have learned this just from word of mouth, forums, Karakura Emergency discord, and just seeing them pass along throughout the map! As well as some time spent in GangRP and having a run-in or two with KPD. Oops!

SOME DUTIES OF A KPD OFFICER
DUTIES | DESCRIPTION |
Patrolling | KPD officers will patrol certain routes and areas, ensuring that these routes are clear and safe. If any crimes are occurring or a criminal is spotted, they handle it. |
Monitoring CCTV | Around Karakura, if you look in certain areas and hot spots, you most definitely have noticed cameras around. KPD are able to access these cameras to monitor these areas. Along with if a crime was committed with a camera nearby, they are able to use what was caught as evidence. |
Taking Reports | When a citizen of Karakura believes they have information or evidence to report about a crime, they can go into KPD and talk to an officer. The officer is responsible for patting down the individual, taking them into a separate room, and taking the report for them. |
Arrests and Detaining | When on duty, there's multiple reasons why or how KPD would be making an arrest. It could be while on patrol, getting a call/report from a citizen, and so on. The goal is to keep the streets of Karakura safe. The officer is expected to first pat down the individual before either arresting them or detaining them for more information. |
Raids | In some situations, KPD perform raids on houses/apartments throughout the city. They’re looking for incriminating things, such as weapons or items from the Black Market. But to perform these raids, they must obtain a warrant along with permission from higher-ups. |
Interrogations | When an officer makes an arrest or detains someone for questioning, an interrogation begins. The officer or detective will ask questions to the criminal to try and learn more information about the crime that took place. |
SOME EQUIPMENT AN OFFICER MIGHT HAVE
ITEM NAME | DESCRIPTION |
Gas Mask | You may have seen officers wearing gas masks before, they wear them to protect themselves from threats. These threats can include things such as pepper spray, gas leaks, and just general things in the air that could affect them from doing their job. |
Radio | Waterproof radios are used throughout KPD so they are able to quickly communicate with one another. Along with in some situations, being able to communicate with EMS as well. |
Body Cams | The KPD bodycams are meant to keep both officers and citizens safe. They document everything they can see. They use these documentations in cases when needed, for example, an officer was assaulted by someone on duty; they then can use the footage from the body cam to fully assess the situation afterwards, and to be used as evidence. |
Handcuffs | Officers are equipped with handcuffs to restrain the criminal and hinder their movement. |
Stun blasters | Not all officers are equipped with stun blasters. They are used in situations where the criminal is flee-ing and they have been previously told to ‘halt’. It renders the perpetrator immobile for sixty seconds, where the officers can get close enough to detain them. |
Riot Shields | Riot shields are used in certain situations for officers to protect themselves, or to protect others. They have both an offensive and defensive mode, one allowing you to use another item while holding it, and the other purely for defensive mode. |
Pepper spray | An item to render the criminal blind for 60 seconds, it will not work if they are wearing a gas mask. |
Crowbars | An item used mostly in raids, they are used to open doors and containers in the household. |
Baton | An item that assists an officer in making an arrest, it's used to give some room between the officer and a perpetrator approaching them. |
Luminol Spray (ItemRP) | Officers keep luminol spray on them for spraying down a criminal's weapon, surface, or mask to reveal any blood that couldn’t prior be seen. For luminol spray to not be detected, a weapon or surface must be cleaned properly with proper chemicals. |
Disposable Latex Gloves (ItemRP) | Officers keep disposable gloves on them at all times. They are essential to keep the officer safe from any cross contaminants, and to preserve evidence of anything they might have collected. |
Fingerprint Scanner (ItemRP) | Used to scan a criminal’s finger prints, could be used to identify them if their prints were on any piece of evidence. |
Why is Police important to SchoolRP?
Karakura is home to an insane amount of criminals, there is always a constant of criminal activity. Between the copious amounts of gangs and average citizens that just get a little too angry, there's always something happening. If there was no KPD there to help minimize and apprehend criminals, then the whole city would be overruled by thugs. Their presence in the city alone deters major crimes from happening in such public areas over and over again. Along with keeping the citizens safe in situations where they are terrified, the KPD is there to help and keep everyone, including the criminals, safe.

Describe your character; how they look, what makes them unique?
Daniel is a Hispanic male, standing at a Karakurian average of 6 feet flat, his weight fluctuating between 170-180lbs depending on how much he wants to follow his diet. He's not the strongest of the bunch but, through working out and playing a multitude of sports, he definitely has toned his muscles, turning him into a rather tall, lean man. At first glance, you would notice medium brown hair, but most noticeably the bright blonde streak that falls on his forehead. Ask Daniel! He'll probably end up making an over the top story about the truth, but when pushing it a bit further, he'll eventually let you in on what really happened... It was never supposed to be that blonde. His sister begged him to let her practice on him, but they had both ended up taking a nap and left the bleach on for a bit too long. He's just grateful he wasn't left bald. When you get a closer look, you'd notice Daniel's dull green eyes that sat underneath his dark brown eyebrows. A feature that stood out in comparison to the light blonde streak that would oddly give him a cartoonish look! Smaller freckles that peaked through on his pale-ish skin, an interesting look considering you'd think a man who spent so much time outside growing up would get a tan, huh? Nah. Although defined, his facial features didn't appear too sharp. His overall look seemingly having a soft-ness of sorts to him. Daniel was never the most stylish man, he usually is found wearing green, he was told once it compliments his eyes, and it has been his main color ever since. Overall, he's just. . . a guy.

How does your character act in a professional/casual situation?
Starting from a young age, Daniel was raised in a household that always felt busy. His father and mother were always working, only coming back into his life in bursts he struggles to remember. But the things that stuck were the morals, the values they taught him. respect, proper manners, and a high regard for the rules. The latter being a strong suit and a weakness, and though some people dislike the fact that Daniel continues to follow the rules to a tee, he pays them no mind. Growing up, he had little opportunities to see his parents, that meant even lesser opportunities for screwing up. Taking everything into account, he grew up adapting these qualities into his own.
As Daniel got older, he grew into himself a bit more as well. Keeping in mind the morals that mattered to him, but adapting them into his own special formatting. What...? He couldn't stay a golden child forever. Does his parents know? Of course not, after all, strict parents make sneaky children. So of course Daniel still remains a polite and respectful guy but he also knows how to let loose. Never would he do anything stupid, but he enjoys being silly and putting on a show for people. He is often found in his free time hanging out with his sister, or asleep, the man is able to relax and find comfort in going out with his friends and family, working as the life of the party wherever he goes.
What is their outlook on the idea of co-workers & teamwork?
Daniel has always loved being a part of a team. Stemming from playing sports as he grew up, and having a family that depends on him, his outlook on community and teamwork only has a positive standing from his point of view. Just like the concept of 'the more, the merrier', Daniel truly believes in the idea that it is always better to work with a team. Building strong bonds and expressing his trustworthy nature is very important to him, in a way where he wishes for his co-worker's to feel comfortable enough to do the same towards him!
What's your character's backstory?
(0-13)
Daniel Guerra, was a Mexican-American male, born and raised in West Covina, California. He grew up with his younger sister, Ximena, with their parents in a small apartment. Growing up, Daniel was always described as a very sweet kid. You could mostly thank his parents for ingraining kindness and respect as a necessity to little ol’ him. Though the parents were very loving to the two children, they both had to work very hard. Leaving the responsibility of Ximena, solely up to Daniel, who was only a few years older than her. He was never one to complain, he took on the task to the best of his ability.
(14-20)
Throughout school, Daniel played a plethora of sports, mainly focusing on volleyball and soccer. Though, after graduating, he got too busy to participate in local teams, so instead he chose to start working out at his local gym. He always felt the need to stay fit! Which led to a burn-out in Daniel. He felt he was working out for nothing, there was no reason to do all of that, when he wasn’t doing anything with it. He spent the next 6 months focusing on his 9-5 job, then going home to look after Ximena.
While in this rut, Ximena convinced him to attend a school event with her. She knew Daniel would do anything for her, so he begrudgingly agreed. The event turned out to be a job fair, for seniors graduating to discover new careers. At the fair, Daniel noticed that his local police department had a booth. Remembering that an old friend of his, Zeke, joined the police academy right after graduating, he decided to go take a peak to see if he was there. And lucky for him, he was! He spent the next hour or- so catching up with him, towards the end of the conversation, Zeke had handed a pamphlet to Daniel. He suggested to Daniel that he should check it out and potentially apply to the academy. Guerra didn't think too much about it at the time. He headed home with his sister and called it a day. It was not till Ximena saw the pamphlet and decided to try her best to convince Daniel to at least give it a try. To him, that talk felt like a wake up call, and that night, he immediately researched more about the police academy. After applying, he felt his craving for working out, came back to him, he set his heart out to train and be the best applicant he could be.
(21-22)
Flash forward a bit, Daniel was accepted to go through the academy. He was ecstatic! Going through the training was a breeze for him. He kept up a good attitude with the other cadets, being friendly while still keeping sharp. He trained hard daily, both physically and mentally. He would ask his sister to help him study to pass each test. He felt confident with her by his side. Nearing the end of his training, Ximena brought him the news that she is moving to Japan in 3 months. He felt his heart drop to his knees at the thought of not having her around. Without any hesitation, he decided he must follow her there, to keep her safe. 3 months? He should graduate his training by then, what would be the big deal? Alongside his academy training, Guerra decided to start secretly learning Japanese. He found out it was a lot harder than he thought it would be. His routine was as follows. Wake up, workout, cook and clean, study for work, and then study Japanese. Day after day, rinse and repeat. He barely had time to sleep, and yet it all felt worth it for him. Time came and went, and eventually Daniel grew to be fairly fluent in Japanese, but he wasn't even close to finishing the academy. But he must do what he must do. Daniel dropped out of the academy, and followed his sister out to Karakura, Japan.
(22-25)
After moving to Karakura the two got a small apartment that they shared rent for. Ximena quickly found a job, while Daniel fell back into the rut he was in once before. He performed odd-ball jobs here and there but nothing steady came to him. He became a home body, talking to only his sister and a few friends he’d manage to make… somehow. He knew the move would be hard on his mental, but never could he have imagined that moving here would almost completely obliterate it. He was one to always want to keep busy, yet nothing could fill the void. Till one day, on his way to the mechanics, he passed by the KPD. All the memories of what drove him back then, came flooding back to him. He took a second, sitting outside and just staring for a few moments. He remembered how excited he was to get into the academy, how proud his family was of him, how much joy he felt while training. Guerra knew this could be another shot, another chance at pursuing what he was working on for so long. He felt the fire that was once in him, return. This time, he wouldn’t let anything stop him. For once, Daniel would put himself first.
From that day on, he decided he was going to try and join the department again. Re-upping on all the information that was once super ingrained in his brain, yet he was in a different country, with different rules. He studied what he could learn about the different laws in Karakura, hitting the local gym to regain the physique he once was oh so proud of. He finally put in his application for the KPD, and here we are :D!

Can you legally own a pocket knife in Karakura?
Daniel straightened his back, adjusting his posture. “No, you cannot legally own a pocket knife. For the better it’s like that, letting the average joe walkin’ around with a pocket knife? You’re gonna let some guy named Greg hold a weapon. . . legally?? Yeah. No. Keep those things off the street.” He let out a small chuckle at the thought.
Name 5 medical items that do NOT require a prescription
His leg eagerly bounced under the table, trying to think back to the last time he visited the pharmacy. “Err. . Off the top of my head, I know melatonin is one of 'em’, along with a wooden cane, an eyepatch, bandaids, uhhh para- uhh paracetamol, and errr. . cough syrup!” He paused for a moment “That's five right? Or was that four. . . if that was four then UH- multivitamins! I take them from time to time heh.” He went back, counting how many the man actually said, he grasped his hands together on the table, smiling triumphantly ‘Yep! That was for sure five’.
If you see your co-workers physically abusing an inmate, what should you do?
He pointed over to his chest where his hypothetical body cam would lay. “Ensure my body cam is on. Everything must be documented.” He put his arm back down. “The first step would be to call for a supervisor and try and deescalate the situation, separate said co-worker from the inmate. I would make sure that the inmate is not injured, or check if they need medical attention, radio EMS if needed. If my supervisor needed me as a witness, I would lock in and do my best to recall the situation to the best of my ability.” He nodded, confident in his answer.
What should you do if you see your co-worker being assaulted?
He pushed back his hair, taking a deep breath before answering. “I would yell at the perpetrator to stop what they are doing, if they do not comply, I would try my best to get them off of my co-worker. After, making sure to quickly detain the criminal to ensure they don’t get away. After the person is detained, check up on my co-worker and make sure they are okay.”
What do you do if you find out that your co-worker is corrupt and is helping criminal organizations?
“I would NOT confront them.” He made a big X with his arms, before realizing that was stupid and quickly putting them back down. “I would do my best to gather as much information as I could. Documenting as I go, attempting not to alert the co-worker that I knew anything at all. Can’t have them know that I’m on to them, y’know?” He nodded, pausing for a second. “I would keep this as private as possible, sharing this information with higher-ups as soon as possible.”
How would you react to a criminal trying to bribe you?
“I would deny them, if it was mid-arrest, I would continue on what I was doing. If it was just out of the blue, I would still deny them but I would ask them for any form of ID. Remembering that there is a fine for bribery, I would fine them as well. In both situations I would most definitely inform a higher up, to give them a heads up that the person might try and do something like that again. Can’t have that type of thing potentially weigh me down, I keep my hands clean.” He scoffed at the thought of someone trying to bribe him, tough luck, Daniel’s morals are more solidified than a fortress.
