Describe your activity on the server:

I have been playing on SRP for about two years now, give or take. I heard about it from a friend and was instantly enamored! I have played almost every day since then. Recently, I went offline for about a month. I was struggling with my mental health. But I'm back (thankfully) and back on my feet, ready to go and hopefully get started with EMS! I am on every day (with a few rare exceptions) for a few hours a day. I spend quite a large chunk of my free time on SRP. I'm unemployed and getting ready to graduate. I'm currently job seeking. If I'm not actively speaking with someone, I'm usually talking with people in the OOC chat. I love helping the new players get situated, so I'm often doing that as well. Below is my current schedule.

What experiences do you have with roleplay?:

I have been roleplaying since 2014. Twelve whole years! I started out when I was very young on apps like Avakin Life and IMVU. I had a pretty popular character on IMVU (back then at least) named Abigail. She was a vampire, and the princess of the Blood Moon Castle. A bit silly, but I was only around 7 at the time so I believe I can be forgiven lol. I soon moved on to apps like Roblox and Minecraft in 2016. I would play on older roleplay servers like the Cops and Robbers' server on Minecraft, and family roleplays on Roblox. A few years after that, in 2018, I moved onto social media roleplaying. I started on Amino, Instagram, and Discord. I still roleplay on Instagram and Discord, with my account on Instagram having nearly 2000 followers and hundreds of roleplays I've done. I have around 10 roleplays at a time and am always starting new ones! I typically do fantasy, but more often lately I've been doing more realistic roleplays. I love what I do, and I hope I never have to stop for any reason.

What is your motivation for applying?

I love EMS, both in real life and in SRP. I'm physically and mentally disabled in real life, so I speak with doctors frequently and they have helped me a ton. I want to help someone like that, even if it's just in a game.

What knowledge do you have of the roles within the Hospital Faction?

Hospital Director-> This is the person in charge of the whole hospital. They make decisions that no one else can make. (They're also really rich and really cool. Pancake my goat no glaze frfr)​

Higher-Ups-> These are the next in line. They make hard decisions that the average hospital employee can't make on their own.​

Paramedics-> These are the people who are first on the scene. They drive to the scene in an ambulance and provide medical aid fast.​

Doctors-> These are the people who deal with the physical health of the patients. They preform surgeries, physical therapy, check-ups, and more!​

Psychiatrists-> These are the people who deal with the mental health of the patients. They hold therapy sessions, prescribe medications, diagnose mental disorders, and more!​

SECTION 1: PERSONAL DETAILS
"What's your full name?"

The girl before you linked her fingers together in her lap.
"My name is Yuri Fujihara. It's very nice to meet you!"

"What do you identify as? What pronouns do you use?"

Yuri turned her hands over in her lap a few times.
"I identify as a female. I go by she/her pronouns, please."

"How old are you?"

She bowed her head at the interviewer in front of her.
"I'm 25. I just graduated medical school."

"Speaking on that topic, tell me about your academic history."

She shifted in her seat, a sad look in her eyes.
"Ah- Well... I went to a public high school in Kyoto until I was old enough to support me and my sister outside of the orphanage. After graduating high school, I went to college. I majored in biology while there."

"What is your nationality?"

Yuri smiled softly.
"I'm Japanese. Born and raised."

"What is your marital status?"

She picked a string on her skirt, cheeks slightly rosy from the question.
"I'm single. I've never been married."

"Are you religious at all?"

Yuri smiled sadly at the question.
"I worship Christian and Shinto gods. Any god that will listen to my prayers, haha."

"Do you speak any languages besides Japanese?"

Yuri sat up straighter.
"I'm currently learning Japanese sign language. I think it will be beneficial to know."

Character Backstory (Optional):

OOC- (she would likely never tell you this herself): Yuri was born into a happy, midclass, nuclear family. She had a loving mother and father. Her early years were fairly normal. When she was five years old, her mother gave birth to a little girl named Ririka Fujihara. Although Yuri loved Ririka to pieces, she was also incredibly jealous of the attention Ririka got. When Yuri was seven and Ririka was two, Yuri's jealousy peaked. She decided that to be in the spotlight again, she would cook her parents a nice meal. Yuri was going to make them see her again. While her parents and baby sister were still sleeping in bed, she got to work. She went downstairs quietly to the kitchen and began to get everything ready. But, as it turned out, she made a crucial mistake. She turned the stove on too high and used far too much oil in the pan. She stepped away for a moment, only a moment! But it was too late. The fire spread quickly and was far too big to be put out. The fire alarms went off. Her parents ran downstairs to see what was happening. Yuri was standing in front of the blazing fire, eyes wide. She cried, apologizing over and over again. Her parents ran upstairs to get Ririka., but Ririka wasn't in her crib. Yuri had moved her little sister downstairs to their playroom. Time was running out. Her parents looked all over for their baby. By the time they found her, the fire was spread over most of the house. Yuri's parents handed the baby over to her and told them to get out quickly. Yuri did as she was told, and, with her baby sister wrapped in her arms, ran out of the house. Her parents never came out. Yuri blames herself completely for what happened that day. She dotes on her little sister both out of love and what she thinks to be her duty for taking Ririka's parents away, despite the fact that Yuri herself was only a child at the time. Yuri doesn't want anyone else to go through what she made her little sister go through. She wants to help as many people as possible in her life.

SECTION 2: MEDICAL HISTORY
"What is your medical specialty? Why did you choose it?"

Yuri sat up straighter, taking this question seriously. She had a sad look in her eyes.
"My specialty is in Pulmonology. My little sister suffers from very severe asthma. She can't participate in any physical activities, and she can hardly go to school. I want to help her, and other people like her, be able to live a happy life."


"Do you have any medical work experience?"

Yuri smiled at the question.
"I do. When I was in college I completed and successfully passed my EMS internship here.

SECTION 3: CHARACTER KNOWLEDGE
Describe your character; how do they look, what makes them unique? How would they be perceived by others?

When Yuri walks in, her long brown hair swaying behind her, the whole room lights up. She's almost angelic in this way. Her straight brown hair is shiny and well taken care of. Her clear blue eyes are her most striking feature and are frequently complimented. She's fairly tall for a woman, standing at 5'6 inches.

Yuri has a very calming air about her. She speaks softly and is very kind to everyone she meets. She loves helping anyone she can and is seen as very maternal. She is very feminine in most ways. She loves cooking, cleaning, and taking care of people.

Most people she interacts with appreciate Yuri and all that she does for them.


How does your character act around the hospital?

Yuri would be seen almost as like the hospital's big sister. She would always be willing to help someone out or to lend an ear or a shoulder to cry on. She was spend most of her time with patients. When she isn't with a patient, she'll be speaking with her coworkers. When she isn't doing either of those things, she'll be reading research papers and trying to get better at what she does.

"Do you prefer to work by yourself or with others?"

Yuri unlinked her hands, instead placing them both on her knees.
"I prefer working with others. I do much better when I'm in a team of supportive people."
