Can't use resource pack

Ok, pretty simple. When I try to use the resource pack, my game just crashes. I've attempted to use it like 30 times now

Have you tried joining the server first with only the schoolrp texture pack and then putting on your own texture pack?
If you are using a texture pack that is very stressful for your PC then it will always crash upon joining the server due to trying to render the spawn point and then failing to do so.

It’s most likely your computer at that point. Can you list everything you’ve done so I could hypothetically help you?

Try clicking edit while selecting the server, then press yes. Usually works for me, if it doesn't for you use this (Click on this and try solution 2)
