His eyes mostly were half closed, due to how tired he commonly was obviously appearing with dark circles constantly forming under his hazy blue eyes, commonly covered with makeup. He liked to have his hair hang down over his eyes or in general face, whilst also not caring enough to brush it as it constantly looked matted, but smelt like a freshwater lake.
Kāen's personality would be kind at times, but also very sluggish and lazy unless the time was right for action. For the right price, he would do things you asked him to. He enjoys being bribed into things.

Backstory:
Kāen KV-Katz was born and raised in Karakura, a quiet town known for its uneasy balance between peace and hidden violence. His father, Makihirō Roşu, was a man carrying a broken soul — scarred by a life of pain, crime, and loss in Romania before coming to Japan. Though Maki had once sought a fresh start, the darkness he'd endured became the darkness he passed down.
From the earliest days, Kāen’s life was ruled by strict discipline — brutal training sessions where he was forced to wield a katana before he was old enough to understand the meaning of death. Makihirō, convinced that the world would devour the weak, believed it was his duty to forge Kāen into a weapon. Every mistake was met with cold violence. Every show of compassion was seen as a defect to be beaten out of him.
To outsiders, their home looked ordinary. But inside, Kāen lived under a constant storm: endless drills, punishing spars, nights spent cleaning wounds he couldn’t remember receiving. His father's words were carved into him as deeply as the scars on his back:
"Mercy is weakness. Weakness is death."
At first, Kāen obeyed. He learned the way of the blade not just with skill, but with a terrifying precision. He moved like a predator, fast, efficient, deadly. But as he grew older, he began to see the truth: Makihirō was not teaching him strength. He was teaching him cruelty, passing down the same poison that had once been forced on him.
The final straw came when Makihirō demanded that Kāen kill an innocent — a traveler who had unknowingly offended the wrong people. In that moment, Kāen saw not a father, but a man who had chosen to be a monster.
That night, in a confrontation lit only by the cold silver of their blades, Kāen fought back. The battle was fierce, brutal — a clash of everything Makihirō had taught against the humanity Kāen refused to surrender. In the end, Kāen struck the fatal blow, standing over the man who had forged him and broken him in equal measure.
He did not weep.
He did not speak.
He simply left.
Now, at eighteen years old, Kāen carries the weight of his choices. Towering at 6'5" and 210 pounds of disciplined muscle, he is an intimidating figure — but behind his steely eyes is a young man searching for something beyond survival. Though he hides his emotions behind a cold exterior, Kāen struggles with guilt and grief, even as he refuses to let Makihirō’s legacy define him.
He refuses to raise his blade without cause. He refuses to become the weapon his father wanted.
Instead, he wanders through Karakura, looking for purpose, haunted by the past but determined to carve his own future — one scar, one battle, one step at a time.
