My favorite character to RP depends on my mood. I do find a lot of joy when I get to RP Ryuijin Kotagawa because it's just really fun being a total passive aggressive shit sometimes. I also really enjoyed RPing the Babadook in October.

RYUIJIN:
Ryuijin Kotagawa was born to a loving set of parents, however, early in her life, her father disappeared. Although she likes to lie to herself that he disappeared not of his own accord, her mother often told her that he was not a man to live up to. When she was younger, she was often plagued with visions of ghouls and mysterious people in her mother's restaurant at night (they lived right above it) when she went down to grab a glass of water or a midnight snack. They often told her of her failures and that her parents would not be proud. Although these were likely projections of her insecurities, the cacophony of those dreams rang in her ear every moment she doubted herself. This only let her dig a deeper hole.

As she grew older, her mother got busier and had to focus more on the restaurant and a little less on praising Ryuijin's work at school and the restaurant. Ryuijin suddenly began to feel as though she wasn't good enough and that her mother disliked her. From then on, her self-struggle to make her mother proud was a motive that drove every goal. From a crush to an assignment, all she wanted to do was make her mother feel pride in her. Although her mother felt proud, Ryuijin allowed this delusion to continue too long, and it became her reality.

When her mother grew too old, Ryuijin inherited the business and made many changes that she was afraid her mother would dislike. She made the business a larger chain and formed a board of directors. She placed herself at the head. Her fear of her mother's disapproval drove her further into thinking this a reality and started to seep into every aspect of life. She grew insecurities about every little thing. As her mother and her drifted apart (due to Kotagawa herself fearing her disapproval) she created the idea that her mother wanted to be away from her.

In an attempt to take a breath, she stepped down from the president of the board and became a lower member. This, she feared, would anger her mother, which caused her, to again, distance herself. She would, after realizing that taking time to herself was only giving her more time to create more delusions and cracks in her life, step up as the CEO of the company, and in attempts to distract herself, left to try to make a business deal in Karakura. However, after meeting Goemon Asōgi, she decided to stay longer to be with him. However, her inability to report back to the board whilst starting a whole separate life in Karakura caused the board to remove her as CEO, therefore removing her family entirely from the family restaurant. She was so disappointed in herself and afraid of her mother's disappointment that she stayed in Karakura. She trusted that her life with Goemon would go well allowing her to make her mother proud finally by starting a family. However... no. No. Things just can't be perfect, can they? Goemon and her relationship fell apart as they got into frequent arguments and he told her to get her shit together in her life. This broke her. It sent her into a smile. Her life was in shambles? No. No. No. No. Not at all.

And so she left. Perhaps she needed some time to pursue other ventures she had thought about.

BABADOOK:
never really was a lot of schemed out lore about the Babadook character but to some effect he was a social outcast and a rather eccentric person when he was alive, he was in love with Jeff the Killer (not real names, as far as I know. not sure about jeff but babadook wasn't named babadook, that's just a shapeshifting disguise), they both died somehow.

I have a part of Goemon Asōgi's backstory, which I'll happily share. Big time shoutout to @houndrats for letting me use his character in this piece!

One day, a peculiar boy came to Asōgi’s legal consultancy. His hair, deep in onyx shade, cloaking his neck, face, and back, all the way down to his waist. A rather thin boy with dead eyes, about the same height as Goemon, looking like he’s been handling much more stress than he should. Sounds familiar.

??? - …

Goemon put up a façade of cheeriness, while greeting the boy.

GOEMON - Heyyyy, welcome to Goemon Asōgi’s legal consultancy! How can I help you?

The boy looked to his side. By the look on his face, it’s evident that he’s having second thoughts about being here.

??? - Nevermind.

He was about to leave, but Goemon stopped him, by holding an arm out.

GOEMON - Wait, wait, wait, wait.
??? - What?
GOEMON - What’s wrong?
??? - I mistook you for someone else.
GOEMON - Because there’s another legal clinic in the city?
??? - No?
GOEMON - It was a rhetorical question, my dear boy! Look, you didn’t come all the way here, just to turn back, did you?

The boy stood still. He huffed, and reluctantly entered Goemon’s apartment/clinic.

GOEMON - Soooo…

The rookie lawyer offered the boy one of two wooden seats by his desk, and poured him some tea.

GOEMON - How may I help you today? Well, before we get to that… Uh. I’m Goemon Asōgi. And you, my dear boy, areeee?

The boy stood silent for a little bit. He started saying a name… G-something.

??? - Percival. Niiyama.

How lucky Goemon was that Percival likely had no standards for this. After all, here he was, in some random guy’s shabby apartment, seeking legal counsel.

GOEMON - Mmmhm. How can I help you today, Mr. Niiyama?

Again, he gestured to one of the two wooden seats. As uncomfortable as they were, Asōgi would be ashamed to admit that they’re the only ones he could afford.

PERCIVAL - Mm… My dad. And my mom.

The boy struggled to get the issue out, bunching the hem of his shirt in his hands.
It was almost as if the lawyer’s ears perked up. Terrible parents were certainly a thing the two could bond over. But he wouldn’t dare let his personal and professional life be conjoined, contrary to what his current living situation may suggest.

GOEMON - Mhm?

PERCIVAL - I need you to split them up.

GOEMON - Whoa. That’s a big ask. Mind if I ask why?

Percival grimaced uncomfortably, knuckles turning white. Some of them were bruised, oh boy…

PERCIVAL - Dad beats mom. And me. And my sister. I need him gone.

And there it was. Percival had always been a symbol of what Goemon could have been, and this is right where it started.

GOEMON - Mm. I’ll see it done.

That’s how little convincing it took. To show a piece of shit father his place was more than satisfaction enough.

GOEMON - I need to have a word with you, your mom and your sister. Gather proof. Initiate a divorce, and get a restraining order from the police.

PERCIVAL - Mhm… Mom can’t go outside, you’ll have to come visit.

He spoke few words, disjointed and fearful. Overall, he looked like a rabid dog already. Never a good sign. As if the rest of the conversation didn’t already instill this sense of foreboding in Goemon.

GOEMON - I’d love to. Do you know when your dad won’t be home?

PERCIVAL - Fridays, usually. He comes home very late then.

It really did not help the atmosphere in the room that the boy was being cryptic and frankly just straight up creepy. Looked like a ghost, too. Ugh.
The conversation alone was a test of the lawyer’s resolve. It felt like things just got real. Of course, his tone shifted accordingly.

GOEMON - Alright.

Goemon took a piece of paper with his number on it and slid it across his desk, for Percival to peruse.

GOEMON - Text me when he’s not home. I’ll be there.

PERCIVAL - Mhm.

And just as quickly as he appeared, he walked out. This sense of consternation lingered, however. Even as Goemon took his pen and paper, and drew up a vague game plan.

Just as agreed upon, Goemon appeared in the residence of the Niiyamas upon receiving a text from Percival, hopeful, albeit apprehensive.
Noriko, the boy’s mother, was unresponsive, appearing like a wall in her almost stoic silence; betrayed by her tear-stained face. Anything Goemon asked was met with averted glances, and the concealment of new tears.
Anzu, Percival’s sister, eventually intervened, fearful for her mother’s emotional state, fearful of her father’s wrath. She only barely suppressed her emotions, evident by her trembling voice as she asked the lawyer to stop.
When it was the girl’s turn to be questioned, she revealed some more information - though, much to Asōgi’s chagrin, it didn’t suffice for a restraining order, let alone a divorce favoring Noriko.
Goemon was frustrated and disheartened, desperate to come up with a new plan to save the Niiyama family from their torment at the hands of Katsuhira.

With a plan not as well-conceived as he would have liked, Goemon resolved to tail Katsuhira Niiyama, hoping to uncover evidence of criminal activities - after all, inveterate inebriates tend to slip up. Drawing from stories he had heard from his Aunt Keiko, a seasoned detective, Goemon ventured into unfamiliar territory, convinced that his lack of experience would not hinder his efforts. After all, the drunkard wasn’t going to notice, was he? And yet, his surveillance efforts yielded nothing more than Katsuhira's habitual visits to various bars, including Club Umbra, Shizukesa, and Ryūketsu. Even Goemon’s occasional presence alongside the boy’s father at these establishments failed to unearth any incriminating evidence.
It was with a heavy heart that Goemon reported his findings - or the lack thereof - to Percival. The boy wordlessly departed from the clinic, and went missing in action. One evening, Goemon waited for the boy’s father, so as to confront him, but he never again showed up at any of the three bars. The case was put on ice. The failure weighed heavily on the junior lawyer. In a journal entry, he wrote the following:

GOEMON - A country that fails to uphold the truth in its justice system is a country with no future at all. I cannot ever let another Katsuhira Niiyama roam free. There is much that makes me feel powerless, and yet I know that I cannot fight fire with fire. If I did, nothing would set me apart from common criminals.

might be a shocker, but ezio

A fallen Eagle. December 14th, 1999
Located in Sardinia Italy, a young boy was born to Eliana Marcella, and Catez Senrico. Eliana was a prostitute who worked the streets day and night. His father was a wealthy man who ended up sleeping with Eliana. Months down the line Eliana found out she was pregnant with Ezio, she was disgusted by the fact she had even had a child. Wanting nothing to do with the boy at all. As nine months had passed she gave birth, giving him no name, or last name. Not even her own. He was nameless but carried the birthmark of what looked like an eagle's eye, wide with a beady dot in the middle. This is only the beginning, of Ezio’s life.

Small image of what the birthmark looked like

A lost child, January 19th, 1999.
With Eliana not wanting the baby, she dropped him off at a house known for taking in orphans. The Calderon Family. Ezio was quickly taken in by a young girl, Lamoni Calderon, who was 8 at the time. She took care of Ezio as a child, made sure he ate, made sure he had a roof over his head even if she didn’t. She was the mother that Ezio never had, she named him Ezio, Italian for Eagle due to his birthmark.

8 Year old Lamoni Calderon

A growth in the family. May 15th 2004
As the years passed, Ezio learned to speak basics in Italian, the alphabet and simple sentences. He learned very quickly to cook, specifically Italian and Mexican dishes. When Ezio turned four he began to help Lamoni around the small alley that they lived in. A week before Ezio’s birthday, or what they thought was his birthday, another baby in a blanket arrived at the entrance of the alleyway. Another baby that looked nothing like Ezio and Lamoni. Ezio was the first to see the blanket, bringing it up to Lamoni; her eyes lit up with joy as she had another younger brother. She let Ezio pick the name, he chose Manillo, meaning handle. Why? He accidentally said it when choosing it, for no reason at all.

Baby Manillo

Six months later. November 27th 2004
As months felt like seconds to Ezio and Lamani, it felt like years to Manillo. He had begun to crawl and say random things in Italian. Simple words that Ezio would say, “The” “Water” Apple”. Young Ezio began to see Manillo as his own brother, his biological brother. He grew close with the boy at a young age.

Another egg enters the nest. October 5th 2005
Life was going smoothly for the Calderon Family. Ezio was five years old, Lamoni was 14, and Manillo was nearing one year old. They had a stable way of living, Ezio went to catch fish, Lamoni would prepare the fish, and Ezio would cook it for the family. Ezio learned to prepare all types of meals, from simple eggs, to toast, to small meals like fish on a skillet. Suddenly one night, the screech of car tires filled the alleyway with unsettling fear. The three rushed to the view seeing yet another blanket with a baby boy. He had blonde hair and blue eyes. Lamoni once again beamed with joy, she named the boy Lucio, meaning light.

Baby Lucio

Life in the Alley, August 30th 2006
As life continued for the bunch. Ezio began to grow close with his sister, she taught him how to cook and read and write. She was always stubborn with his decisions, but they were always inseparable. Ezio would watch after Marillo whenever Lamoni was getting food, or working. The two had grown close, while living in the alley Ezio learned how to fight in order to defend his family. He wasn’t strong but it was still something, he would play around with Marillo, helping him throw punches. He would help Marillo understand how negotiations would work, “A homeless kid gains more than a homeless man.”. Then there was baby Lucio who would often have tantrums, despite the decent age gap between the two, Ezio learned how to take care of him quickly. Each of his family members taught Ezio his morals he holds onto now. Lamoni, teaching him how to care for those he loved. Manillio, teaching Ezio to care for family even if they aren’t related by blood. Finally, Lucio teaches Ezio to protect those who cannot protect themselves.

Tragedy. December 4th, 2007.
The day started normally. The smell of bakeries preparing for openings, the sounds of construction, cars driving past. All these sounds Ezio heard as he walked the streets going towards the river he would normally fish at. Hours felt like minutes to him as he caught three fish big enough for the family. He took his time enjoying the town that day, the birds were chirping, the wind blew songs as they traveled. The air was crisp, in his mind nothing could go wrong. Sadly, Ezio doesn’t have a happy start to his life. The air turned dense, and filled with a terrifying smell. The sky turned grim and gray quicker than a blink of an eye as smoke clouded the area being seen up ahead from Ezio’s view. With his memory of the town he dropped everything in hand and began to bolt towards his house. As people crowded the path the young Ezio pushed and stumbled with his eyes shot open as far as they could, tears strolled down his cheeks like a river flowing down a mountain. Alast he came upon the tragedy, the alleyway and the house next to it raged in red and orange embers, he rushed into the flames, he saw nothing, and quickly rushed out hoping his family wasn’t home. As time passed, the embers lowered as the EMS carried out three bodies. Ezio looked on in horror and screamed at the top of his lungs until he couldn’t scream anymore. The bodies were recovered, and shown before Ezio, Lamoni was only recognizable at all, the only reason Ezio recognized her was because of her locket that she kept on her. Manillo was only recognizable due to his size. The same with Lucio. The young Ezio was left in shambles, with no name or family. He walked the streets of Italy, alone.

Hell. January 2nd, 2008. Age: 9
Ezio was now 9, he wandered the streets with nothing to his name but a bag of uncooked fish, and no hope. His body was frail and weak as can be, he was lost, and deprived of food. The nights were cold with no place to call home, the days were scorching with no shade to call his own. He lived his life alone, he thought he’d surely died soon.

Vincent Giorno. March 25, 2008. Age: 9
Ezio was approached by a tall shadow figure before him, surrounded by numerous people in black silky suits with a sapphire blue pin. Ezio stood at a young 4'5, compared to the mans 6’5, Ezio stood still in the face of danger. He had no reason to fear death at the time as he had nothing to lose, and what he thought was nothing to gain. The man bent down with a cigarette between his lips and a deep laugh. His voice was deep as the Mariana Trench, and raspy as a chalkboard. “How would you feel if you could soar like an Eagle.” The boy stayed silent with a hollow gaze, the man spoke again. “An offer like this doesn’t come easy boy. There’s something I can give you that no others can’t. A Family.” With those words, Ezio spoke with a dry voice, he was dehydrated but still managed. “I’ll take- it.” With that, the man shook Ezio’s small hand, and spoke once more, “The name is Vincent Giorno, welcome to the Family, Ezio Calderon.”

A pointed blade. June 12th, 2009. Age: 10
Vincent began to train Ezio to wield weapons, knives, guns and even ancient weapons (spears, crossbows etc). Ezio had no clue what he had gotten himself into, but he caught up at the age of ten. He began performing skilled attacks and being ****y with his knife work. Ezio was given his first knife and gun at the age of 10, illegally. He got to carve his name into the blade, and name the gun. He named the Beretta Px4 Storm, “Macellare” Italian for Slaughter. The blade was a beauty, it was made from a deep Cobalt Steel, curved near the handle with numerous curved edges, and a thin blade near the tip.

Did he really? January 1st, 2011. Age: 12
Ezio began making friends within’ the Family. With the Mafia being the Mafia, they worked in prostitution, money laundering and loaning. Life was going good for Ezio, he had food on his plate, a roof to hold over his head. Though he had to do some “chores” around the home. He started off with simple chores, cleaning around the house, making breakfast, lunch and dinner. Then it gradually grew more strict, assisting with laundry, he’d see blood stains in clothes, some small, some large. Then it became helping his brothers and sisters with money laundering, for a year straight he assisted with it, before that day. Vincent had approached Ezio in an alley, Ezio was in his normal suit, his weapons on him at all times. Vincent spoke quietly in Italian to Ezio, “They’re coming, Ezio.”. With that Ezio nodded and stood guard, he was only twelve at the time, but knew how to use a gun, and use a knife. With the warning given, Ezio stayed on edge for hours, until he was called by one of his sisters to go to a warehouse for a meeting. Ezio made his way there as he walked in, a sight of horror stood before him, his sister Mariana was dead on the floor, a slit in her neck and her phone shattered next to her. Ezio began to hyperventilate and let out a rage filled scream as he pulled out his gun, shouting, “WHO DID THIS.” blinded by the rage he gave his arrival away. Six men came from hidden areas of the warehouse, two of them were armed with firearms, two with a knife and cleaver and two others with a metal pipe. Ezio’s eye’s had widened with rage, and a gunshot went off. Ezio had now developed his first altar of DID, Elisio, a female Protector . All that Ezio remembers is the gunshot and waking up on the stone cold floor with all six men dead, on the floor with a single bullet in their heads. In reality, Elisio had fronted to protect Ezio from what was going to happen. Tightening her grip on the gun, shooting the two men with the firearm first with decent precision, one in the temple and one in the nose. They died instantly. The next two she rushed with all of her might stomping on their foot to trip them, but failing, gaining a slash to the left arm, she shot the man in the forehead instantly, shooting the next man with a knife as well. With seeing the past men being skilled, she instantly shot them, every body dropped dead. Elisio gained a major headache, nearly passing out. She stood tall but went to check on Mariana, not knowing she was dead just yet. He found her pulse to be solid, she was dead. Seeing Mariana was dead, she passed out, as 45 minutes passed Ezio had fronted once more, to where we continued. Ezio stood up with an ache and blood along his arm, and sadness rushing his body. He felt his head with a headache beyond belief, looking around as all threats were gone. Taking his phone out he called Vincent breaking the news. “Vincent, Sister Mariana. She’s dead.”. An outburst of anger could be heard on the other side of the phone, glass shattering, screaming that wasn’t in Italian. The phone hung up, and Ezio picked up her body, carrying it back home with tears falling down his cheeks in pain, he walked in the house resting her body on the table. The family grieved for days as they had lose their beloved sister. Everyone felt guilt, especially Ezio, if only he had gotten there faster. He sat in sadness for longer than anyone.

Recovery. January 15th, 2011. Age: 12
It had been fourteen days after the incident, Ezio finally came out of his room. His body was thinner than before and he looked exhausted, the family waited for him to come back, so he had. Ezio had been given his knife and gun back, as well as his suit freshly washed and cleaned. He was set off to another task given by Vincent, his exact words were, “Go make sure the police don’t know it was you, now.”. Ezio set off to the police department as he hit a few stores on the way, coming out with 300 Euro from them. He had made it to the police station. He saw a lady near his age there, she was gorgeous, stunning with eyes as blue as the ocean, hair as blonde as the sand and soft as clouds. She was perfect in Ezio’s eyes. She was being put in a police cruiser, Ezio rushed over to slam his fist into the officers skull, starting a fight with two officers. He caught a glance of her once more, she smiled brighter than the sun, but suddenly a baton his Ezio over the head, falling to the ground. Waking up in a holding cell he was charged with illegal possession of a firearm, and Assault of an Officer. He explained how he thought the Officer was sexually assaulting the girl, so he stepped into action, but soon learned he was mistaken. He was let out with a strict warning about the firearm. He saw the blonde lady sitting in the waiting room, she spoke with an angelic voice, “How are you feelin’?”. Ezio fell in love with everything about her, he spoke in a very nervous tone, stuttering even… geek. “I’m, I’m good? Who are you?”. The girl laughed and said, “Giulia, what about you?”. Ezio said his name with a laugh as well, more awkward though. “Ezio Calderon. I thought you were being harassed, so I stepped in.”. The two made a face, and began to laugh as they walked out of the station together, a beautiful thing began to form.

Giulia.

A start. March 4th, 2011. Age: 12
Two months felt like days to Ezio, Giulia would walk him around town holding his hand, dragging him. The Familia warmly welcomed her, even told her to keep Ezio in line, which she did. Ezio was healed mentally and emotionally after meeting Giulia, she was a drug he couldn’t get off of. Vincent approached him with an envelope in his hand, a red wax seal on it. Ezio took it and read it outloud to Giulia while they were in her apartment. The note read, “There is a Mafia who has become our Rival Ezio. Go learn about them, and then kill them.”. Ezio looked in shock, and Giulia laughed. She said kindly, “What are you just gonna sit there and deny?”. He laughed with her, saying, “Of course I am, it’s like my whole job.”. Ezio took her hand walking to a changing room, where he slipped into a black suit with a sapphire blue pin. Giulia straightened his collar slightly, and got in her own black dress with the sapphire blue pin. The two walked out looking snazzy as ever. They were ready to start their investigations.

Time. March 6th, 2013. Age: 13
Around two years have passed since the beginning of the investigation. Ezio had successfully infiltrated the rivaling Mob, gaining their father, the names of their brothers, leaving the sisters out of harm's way. He met up with Giulia on a still night to catch up. Vincent was there as well, all of them had their suits and Sapphire Blue Pins on in an alleyway as dark as the night sky. Ezio started off with showing a flashdrive, plugging it into a laptop, it displayed the groups ranks. He spoke with a quiet tone “I’ve found their base of operations, their division leaders, and their prized members.”. Giulia stayed silent letting Vincent speak next, but he too stayed silent looking at the information displayed before him. A smile crept across his face, his mind filling with greed and pride. He spoke quietly to him, “Kill them all, Ezio.”. Giulia looked at Ezio, he did nothing but give off a cracked smile, overjoyed by Vincent’s response. Ezio nodded and walked off, letting Vincent keep the flashdrive.

Bang. March 15th, 2013. Age: 13
Ezio went into the next meeting with a suit and tie feeling more snazzy than ever. He opened the door after talking with a sister in the Rival Mob. Bang. Ezio fell backwards with a thud, as blood began to pour out of his torso. His eyes went hollow, as his mind began to race, and dissociate.

A dead woman walking. March 15th, 2013. Age: 13
Ezio lay there, blood leaking. Dissociating a throne began to come into view of the headspace, with a woman sitting on it. Elisio had fronted over the body, and began to rise onto her feet. Her footsteps slammed on the ground like boulders falling to the ground. She reached for her gun, shooting the man who had shot the body, dead in the forehead. Killing him instantly. She walked out to the front of the place, surrounded by nothing but rivals, she was doomed, and had no line of surviving. With a sudden screech of a tire five black cars rolled up letting hellfire loose with numerous automatic guns at the enemy. Elisio had done her job of protecting the body, and fell onto her back, into a bloody pile. She was taken to the hospital, and rest for days, weeks. Giulia never left Ezio’s side.

Fear. March 17th, 2015. Age: 14
Two years. Since the incident, Ezio was never informed of what had happened exactly. He only knew that he had been shot. The scar faded almost completely, being taken care of by his family, he was in perfect condition after physical therapy and the exercises he would do daily. A day came when Vincent asked Ezio to go on a task to get information on a rival Mafia again, this time they had the man kidnapped and tied up ready for Ezio. The boy walked in, recognizing the man for one of the people who were at the attack two years ago. His words fled his tongue, as he went to take a breather before starting. His mind began to flood with thoughts, and fear. A PTSD-like feeling struck his veins like a knife going through his hand. The boy grew an arrogant grin across his face as he walked in with two things. A wire connected to an outlet, and a bucket of water. Ezio spoke as if he was bubbly, and arrogant knowing everything the world had to offer. He asked the first question to the man, “I want to know where the new base of operations is.”. The man answered honestly. “Rome.”. Despite the man giving an answer, Ezio began to laugh as he dunked the man's feet into the water, dropping the wire as well. Sending 120 volts of electricity through the man's body. Letting it sit there as the man was seeing his life flash before his eyes. Ezio stared on laughing as his body shook. Once he noticed the man stopped screaming, he took out the wire, slapping the man’s body to wake him up on purpose, keeping death on its door. Everyone else in the room looked at Ezio with fear, even Giulia. The only man in the room who wasn’t scared, was none other than Vincent Giorno. A bright smile across his face as the biological weapon he had created began to show. Ezio grabbed the wire carefully, not electrocuting himself. Screaming at the man one last time, “I want to know who the father is.”. The man answered truthfully once more. “Marcel Monduel.” Once Ezio heard the man, he punched the man in the skull and dropped the wire in. The man died nearly instantly once the punch landed. Ezio walked out of the room and the first thing that happened was a hug from Giulia. She expressed her worry to him and cried. The next thing that happened was a proud Vincent, saying, “My beautiful baby Eagle has learned to soar!”.

Life. December 14th, 2019. Age: 18.
Four years. That is how long has passed since the “Eagle” Vincent created was seen. In the meantime, Ezio has killed three people. One being a Swedish family, containing a mother and a father. The other being a male who owed money to the Family. Ezio has seen life be born into the world, and taken just as fast. Giulia and Ezio had gotten engaged, when Ezio asked her to marry him. She said yes in Germany when they were there shopping. Once Vincent had learned about this, he viewed Ezio as weak, somebody who loved. The day started as Ezio woke up, purchasing a bouquet of flowers. In specific, Yesterday Today Tomorrow flowers, Giulia’s favorite. He began making his way to the house the two lived in together. A screech came from the alleyway, a scream that sounded like Giulia. Ezio ran over, seeing his beloved on the floor, bleeding out. He screamed at her to try and wake her up, screaming for her to wake up, to move. He began to try his best to perform CPR on her, but nothing worked. He took her in a bridal carry, running as fast as he could to the local hospital. He took her there, and he waited ages in the waiting room. She was dead on arrival.

Liver . December 24th, 2019. Age: 18.
Ezio stayed at the hospital for ten days. Silent. He had drank himself into a depression so deep, he couldn’t pull himself out of the hole he was in. He stumbled to the old alleyway that he once lived in. He took a knife, raising it as he chopped his left ring finger off. Making a promise to Giulia that he’d never love another again. He walked to the bar where Familia lived. He informed them of the loss of Giulia. Vincent looked enraged, screaming at Ezio. He screamed back at the man with just gibberish as the two cried. Ezio finished the argument with, “FINE, I’LL FUCKING LEAVE.” With that Ezio opened the door and a bullet rang throughout the room. Ezio was shot in the liver. He made his pain unseen as he simply walked out. The end of Ezio’s journey in the Mafia.

[The ages may not be accurate to current age Ezio due to having to age him up a few times since writing these]

It is a lot, and can kind of explain why Ezio is the way he is.

Oh, that's easy.
My favorite to play has gotta be Alois Tullybellton. Jesus' #1 fan, king of yapping and talking mad smack about his enemies.
It is very fun having your character be a very visible, well-educated, and highly opinionated religious figure in Karakura. It's certainly led to unique interactions.

His upbringing, particularly his early childhood, does go some way in explaining his distrust of authorities. So I'll just extract that little tidbit below from the full biography.

Born in Rome, and delivered in the Sistine Chapel within the Vatican City State in utter secrecy. The authorities in Rome decided against making any public statements on the birth to prevent controversy, as the birth parents were a Nun and a Catholic Cardinal. This was a fact Alois only learned later in life, with the status of his parents unknown to him to this very day. The official story promulgated by the Roman Curia was that he was found abandoned in St. Peter's Square and accompanied by a letter. Alois was raised as a ward of the Holy See; being appointed as a citizen directly by John Paul II.

His early childhood was very lonely, he spent these early days under the care of Nuns within The Mater Ecclesiae Monastery. Keeping him as a ward of the state was an extraordinary and debated decision as many within the Monastery thought he’d be better off in an Italian Orphanage instead of being integrated with the city state’s rather unique population composed of clergy, religious members, and laypeople serving the state. Alas, the Roman Curia felt it best he remain within the Vatican. It was felt ‘he wouldn’t get lonely’ because ‘the city routinely receives thousands of tourists and scores of new workers!’.
