ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

After loading the new resource pack (January 16th 2023 version, Minecraft version 1.19.3) my lightsaber turned into a diamond sword. I tried then to reload the old texture pack but it remained as a diamond sword. This might just be an issue with the texture pack not accompanying the model for the lightsaber however it doesn't explain to me why the old texture pack didn't work when I loaded it.​
