A counselor is a person who would work with clients who are experiencing a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties. This could be things such as anxiety, depression, loss and relationship difficulties which may be affecting ones day to day life. The counselor would attempt to enhance their well being, trying to make the client feel better.
What experience, in general, do you have in roleplay?:
I’d say I have good experience in roleplay, I've experienced different types of roleplays and understand how most work.

During a work-shift a student starts cursing at you for being pathetic, how does your character react?:
First my character would warn the student to stop the cursing as it is against the school rules, if they fail to stop after the warning he would then hand out another warning. If the behaviour was to continue he’d threaten with a detention in hopes they’d stop misbehaving, however if they don’t they would be given detention.
You notice two students are physically fighting in the hallway, – multiple punches have been thrown – how does your character react?:
Akimitsu would rush towards the situation, splitting it up immediately. He’d hand the pupils fighting a detention as it strictly against school rules for fighting to be going on. Whilst in detention he’d get the two students to write their stories on what happened so he’d be able to resolve the situation so it doesn’t happen in the future.
Another school employee is clearly acting inappropriately, doing something very dangerous on the job, how does your character react?:
Akimitsu would inform them to stop being inappropriate, they should be setting an example for students to follow as well as they should be acting professional at all times whilst at work. Even though he’d have had a chat about being inappropriate at work he would still take it to a member of SLT to inform them about the wrongdoings of the other employee.
When in the employee break room, how does your character act?
In the employee break room Akimitsu would be a calm guy, he’d try to have a laugh with the other employees to hopefully make their day a little less stressful. If he’d notice anything unusual about the other employee’s he’d try to talk to them in his free time, taking them out for a friendly coffee as he’d ask if they’d have any problems or not, this of course would also build up a bond which is what co-workers need to have a good time at work.

/me would be listening very carefully to what the pupil was saying to him as he’d lower his eyes onto his notebook as he’d open it and place the pen onto the paper, writing down what was being said to him, figuring out what the student’s possible problems are and how to resolve them
/me would give a warm smile to the student as he’d introduce himself in a friendly manor- “Hello, I am Akimitsu, it’s lovely to meet you! If you’d follow me please.” He’d stand from his seat, directing the student towards the table where they’d both be sitting “Feel free to talk about anything you’d like!”
/me would place his pen back down onto the desk, looking up towards the student sat in front of him he’d give a reassuring smile whilst speaking in a calm tone “Honestly you don’t need to worry too much about this situation at all, none of it is your fault. As of right now you should just focus on your school work.” he’d then close the notebook, giving a nod

Backstory
Akimitsu Hideyoshi was originally born in Kitakyushu, Japan. His mother, Etsuko Hideyoshi, and his father, Kiyoshi Hideyoshi were both married when Akimitsu was born. Unfortunately at a young age, Akimitsu's parents got a divorce due to arguing and other factors that Akimitsu was unsure of. This of course led him to only living with one of his parents- this being his father. Akimitsu being the age of 17 at the time he didn't really understand why he didn't have much contact with his mother, which led him to become depressed. Akimitsu didn't have much motivation to try anything due to the depression having such a huge impact on his life until his father one day brought home a lovely woman by the name of Akari. Akimitsu instantly grew a strong bond with Akari as they shared similar interests, this being performing arts. Akari one day decided to take Akimitsu to her performing arts club to introduce him to some new people as well as give him an opportunity to perform in front of professionals. He'd decide to give this a chance as he was highly motivated by all the people surrounding him, cheering him on to do so. A few years had passed by and Akimitsu had overcome his depression by attending this club and performing for people. Akimitsu believed this was his desired job, to be a performing arts specialist full time however a few of the other individuals that happened to attend the club came to him to talk about problems that were happening at home, this was because they noticed him overcome his problems. Akimitsu talked to them everyday and realised how much of an impact he made on many people's lives, making them happier and helping them overcome their mental health issues. Seeing all he'd accomplished and how he made their lives better, Akimitsu knew he wanted to do this as a full time job for young people as in today's age he'd noticed that mental health had increased by a lot.

Motivation for Joining KHS:
My motivation for joining KHS is to make an impact within the counselor department and show what i have to offer, my passion for helping the youth of today as mental health has had a huge impact on young people nowadays.

I do, history teacher at the school. I believe I’m a good asset when it comes to talking to young people as I understand some of their positions they are/were in.
Why should you be accepted over the other applicants?:
I should be accepted over other applicants because i have experience working with young people, I’m hard working and dedicated to the positions i’ve had and will be very dedicated towards this one as the students mental health is just as important as their grades, without a good mental health they won’t be wanting to do school work.
