Describe your activity on the server: I am most active at 18:30-22:00 on weekdays and usually from day to night on weekends.

List your current roles on the server: No special roles, so far I have only been given the chance to RP as a student.
What experiences do you have with roleplay?: I have been roleplaying since I was a kid. I started out as a student on some old chat client that you had to download (I do not remember the name...Could it be ICE client maybe?) on a Harry Potter themed chat. Then I was a teacher there. Good times. Since then I have found minecraft and have been roleplaying on many different servers (magic-themed servers, fantasy-themed servers, city RP servers, and for the past few years city/school RP here). That pretty much sums up my experience with RP.
What is your motivation for applying?: I always loved roleplaying as a Psychiatrist on other servers. Playing as a student is fun but after few years it has gotten a bit stale. It would be a nice, refreshing experience to do something else.
Which role are you applying for?: I am applying to become a Psychiatrist.
What knowledge do you have of the roles within the Hospital Faction?: There is a Hospital Director that runs the facility. The Director has a Deputy. Then we could divide the hospital in sort of three departments: emergency, doctor, and psychiatrist. The Emergency Department has a Chief Paramedic that manages Paramedics and Paramedic Trainees. Paramedics answer calls and help people in case of a medical emergency outside of the hospital. The Doctor Department has a Clinical Lead that manages Doctors. There is a hierarchy between Doctors. Fresh members are trainees. Then they become Residents. Then they become Senior Residents and lastly they become Attending Doctors. In general Doctors treat physical injuries. The Psychiatrist Department also has a Clinical Lead that manages Psychiatrists. The hierarchy between Psychiatrists is pretty much the same as between Doctors: trainee/resident/senior resident/attending psychiatrist. A psychiatrist's role at the hospital is attending patients who need help with their mental health. Psychiatrists conduct therapy and prescribe drugs to help patients deal with mental disorders and guide them through a tough episode in their life.
Do you acknowledge that if training is held whilst you are online, you are expected to attend or you will be punished?: I do and I would be more than happy to attend all of the trainings.

SECTION 1: PERSONAL DETAILS
Character’s Full Name: A dark-haired, tall, fit man sits across from you. Calmness radiates from his presence. He would smell like crisp watermelon, sweet bubblegum, and floral magnolia. Upon sitting down he would smile gently, before taking a deep breath. Good morning. My name is Haru Shinji. You would see his eyes light up, anticipating the next question.
Character’s Gender and Pronouns: I am a male. I go by he/him.
Character’s Age (if accepted): I am 26 years old. He would smile, trying to win the interviewer over, as he knew, he is not the most experienced candidate - he is pretty much freshly out of med school and got his diploma not too long ago.
Character’s Academic Background: Upon hearing this question, his expression would relax, as he enjoyed studying and had fond memories tied to his academic background. Right after finishing my BA in psychology, I went to medical school to become an MD. Throughout med school I went out of my way to learn not only about psychiatry but also keep studying psychology. I finished my Cognitive Behavioral Therapy courses and became a licensed the****** in this area.
Character’s Nationality: I am Japanese. He said in a neutral tone.
Character’s Marital Status: I am a single man. He said in a monotone voice as well. It would be obvious that he does not like sharing his private life much with strangers.
Character’s Religious Denomination: He took a breath and paused for few seconds before answering. Religion is something really private to me. I definitely am a person of faith but I do not follow any religion specifically. He would hope that this answer was satisfactory to the interviewer.
Character’s Spoken Languages: As of now I only speak Japanese. I do hope to learn more languages in the future, though. He would smile.
SECTION 2: MEDICAL HISTORY
What is your character’s medical speciality? Why did they choose this focus?: His eyes would sparkle, as he waited to finally stop talking about his private life and start talking about medicine. He would be super excited to have the pleasure to discuss his medical history and what he specializes in. My medical speciality is psychiatry. I chose this path because I felt like it is only natural to pursue career in psychiatry after finishing my psychology BA and then med school. I have always been interested in how the mind works. He would think for few seconds. He would be worried that the next sentence might sound too pretentious, so he tried saying it as nonchalantly as he could.
During my psychology internship I have seen some cases where the system has failed people in need. I always knew psychiatry is my calling - to help wherever I can, however I can. He would smile, hoping that he did not come off fake. He knew he really meant what he said.
Does your character have any work experience in medical positions?: He would involuntarily show humbleness in his facial expression. No, I do not. Although I assisted psychiatrists regularly during my psychology internship in various hospitals around the country. With a calm expression and a smile on his face, he would wait for the interviewer to make the next move.
SECTION 3: CHARACTER KNOWLEDGE
Describe your character; how do they look, what makes them unique? How would they be perceived by others?: Haru is a fit, tall male with dark hair and smooth skin. When you look into his eyes you can see gentleness and kindness but also decisiveness and firmness. He walks in a calm, confident manner, with his head up high. He shies away from crowds. In a big group of people he usually prefers to keep his distance. He gives off calm and tranquil energy that you do not immediately notice when you first walk into the room, but when you do, you cannot forget this feeling.
How does your character act around the hospital?: He moves in a calm manner, as if the time is always on his side. During emergencies he ever so slightly hastens but not as much as to cause any panic. Wherever he goes, the room usually gets warmer. His presence tends to soothe the atmosphere.
Does your character function better on their own or with others?: Generally Haru functions better alone, although he does not have anything against teamwork. He is an introvert. He is best at ****yzing behavior and fixing broken, negative cycles that the brain entraps the patient in. He is not the type of person that is very talkative outside of work. It is semi-difficult to get to know him. With patients, he tries to be more outgoing and friendly, to keep them calm and gather information needed to treat them correctly. Haru has a tough 'shell' but once it cracks, you will have a lifelong friend.
