Describe your activity on SchoolRP:

7 / 10. I get on at least once a day and stay on for a reasonable amount of time unless there is nothing happening RP-related or event related. The only time I ever find myself inactive is when I am out of town for family trips or educational purposes IRL (bad grades, school trips, etc). Other than that I'm highly active on the server overall and am able to get online whenever asked.

Describe your roleplay experience with SchoolRP and other roleplay networks in general:
My overall roleplay experience in the SRP is quite positive. I've been playing for over a year now, which yes isnt a long time but for me that's pretty decent. I have grown pretty fond of how its not JUST roleplaying as a high school student, but theres also the opportunity to become city roles or school faculty. As well as gangrp and any sort of sportrp. Which I have enjoyed because it's not something I can grow bored of since I can just change up my roleplaying or make another character to be completely different.
I've been doing roleplay for a long time and I always have enjoyed it, I would go into other minecraft servers that were meant for roleplay but it wasn't ever as organized as I wanted. I was also very into LARP growing up and would get my entire school involved. Sometimes pretending to be someone or something else is exactly what a person needs to just get away from their own world.

TRIVIA SECTION

What is your motivation for becoming a professor?:

Truthfully, it wasn't my original plan to become a professor but I do wish to be apart of the school faculty. As I stated in my experience in roleplay, I like how we have the option to take on something completely different than just being a highschooler or college student. I want to try something new and I feel like I'd actually do very well at being a professor. Overall most my characters have been portrayed as the "adult figure" with their peers by teaching their friends or just being the mature one. I have been wanting to be apart of a city or school role for a while just haven't been able to figure out how to write the applications.

Work out two interactive classes you will host if accepted:


1. The first interactive class that will be hosted will be a Partner activity where the students will learn how to make Okonomiyaki with their partners. Which is a Japanese pancake dish made with the key ingredient of wheat flower batter and several other ingredients cooked on a teppan. I will first hand out an instruction notebook as well as explain what the dish is at the start of class. Each pair will try their best to follow the instructions while I walk around and help out or give tips small tips to help with their success on the taste of the meal. This activity will typically be hosted during 3rd period so once the pairs have completed the dish they will be able to enjoy it for lunch with what may be a new friend.

. The second interactive class would be "Getting to know you" game where the students would pair up with someone of a different/slightly nationality and make a dish from their partners culture. This activity will help the students create a bond together as they are learning something new in multiple ways. The students will be learning about their classmates culture as well as how to make a food they may not be familiar with. The dishes will have to be simple in order for each student to succeed and still be able to communicate with their partner. By the end of the period each pair will try a bite of their partners dish, deciding whether or not it is accurate to how they make it or if it was just a complete fun fail.

Work out a field trip (meaning a class outside school grounds) you will host if accepted:

A field trip I hope would be approved would be a trip to a restaurant which I can attempt to work out with any owner willing to help. The class will go during either 3rd or 4th period to the restaurant to further their knowledge of what this culinary class has to benefit their future. Maybe some students will find out they want to own their own restaurant. I will also encourage each of the attending students to try something new. It may be a fun field trip to their favorite dinner place, but I want them to open their minds to new options.

SCENARIO SECTION

Your character would encounter a group of college jocks surrounding a bobcat jock, what would your character do?

I first attempt to verbally get the jocks to step away from the bobcat jock, if a verbal warning isn't enough and it gets physical or verbal violent, I will first call for other faculty to come help me split up the fighting. I would try to get between the students or pull the bobcat out of the circle. As well as give detention to all the college jocks involved and anyone else who had helped out.

Your character would be supervising detention, one of the students constantly disturbs by asking stupid questions, what would your character do?

Firstly, Daiyu would give them a verbal warning to stop, following with handing out a second detention for the following day or week. If they decide to continue Daiyu will tell the student that they will be suspended if they do not stop. She would also inform either the (vice)Principal or (vice)Dean depending on the age of the student.

Your character would be hosting a class, and a group of cheerleaders keeps on playing songs on the phone and call out other students in the class, what would your character do?

Daiyu would tell the group to stop and turn off their phones, as well as to be respectful to their peers. If they continue then she will take away their phones until the end of the class as well as tell them if they don't stop being disrespectful to the other students then they will get detention. If the group continues to disrespect Daiyu and the other students then she will give them all after school detention.

Your character would be walking on the school perimeter and encounter a fight between a couple of students, your character tried to break it up but it didn't help, what would your character do?

Call another faculty member to come help her pull the students apart. If there is no other faculty available she will continue to try to break up the students as well as giving them both detention. Daiyu would eventually get between the two if she is truly unable to break it up. Making herself a wall between the students so they won't be able to hurt each other.

CHARACTER KNOWLEDGE

Tell us everything you know about the character you will be playing in a few paragraphs. What does they look like? What makes them unique and different? What is their outlook on Students? What about the other teachers? What is their personality like? What is their plan for the future?
Daiyu today is a 5'8 female with a hourglass yet muscular figure, her hair is dyed a light pastel purple with yellow bangs. When her hair is down it's noticeable that her hair fades into the same yellow as the bangs. Her eyes are a cold like blue with her pupils almost always dilated.
Daiyu's overall outlook on students is that they are young minds who are still new to the world. She feels as if she needs to nurture them in order to help them be successful for life after graduation. Each student she could care for as her own and make sure they are always in a healthy mindset. Daiyu learned from her foster father to be caring and loving to all, even if they don't seem to want to help, they may one day open up. She wishes to be a trusted adult for all her students in case they ever need someone to help. Whether it just be a person to listen, or help with school. Maybe even a shoulder to cry on, Daiyu wishes to be a safe place for the students she is presented with. She feels the same with her coworkers. When Daiyu is working with someone she tries her best to be someone they can lean on, with the other faculty members she will openly admit to being a friendly member. Daiyu sees her coworkers as other human beings, they deserve to be treated with the same respect as she wishes for, so her outlook on them is no different than her outlook on students except for that they aren't young. Though even adults sometimes still need nurturing.

Describe how your character ended up becoming a teacher and their previous life. It is optional to include earlier life but recommended.

Daiyu Yìhán was born in Shanghai, China. Her mother, Li, was a 16 year old girl who had attended a small private school. After Li had learn she was pregnant, it was too late for her to abort the baby and decided she would put the baby up for a closed adoption once she had been born. The small baby girl was born December 5th, 1997, with the weight of 7.4 lbs and height of 13.2 inches. Her hair was a Raven black with bright blue eyes. Three days after she had been born, she was sent into the foster system with the name, Daiyu Yihán. Her foster parent, Haoyu Xiu, had Daiyu in his care for 5 years before deciding he wanted to legally adopt her as his own. The two shared a close bond while the other foster children were being adopted out with ease. It seemed no one had wanted her until Haoyu decided he did. Though the both agreed that Daiyu would keep her mothers last name in honor of her. They discussed that when Daiyu turned 18, she could change her name if she felt it more fitting. Which never seemed to end up happening. Once Daiyu had turned 13 she was sent into an all girls private school. She had succeeded in all her curricular courses but took a strong liking to her cooking classes. By the time she had turned 18 her father had gone bankrupt, forcing Daiyu to leave her current private school and moving to Karakura, Japan for a fresh start and hopefully a good education. She had stayed in Karakura for a year until she finished her high school education, moving back to Shanghai to attend Fudan University. She stayed in the university until she graduated, obtaining her Associates Degrees in Culinary Arts and Masters Degree in Mathematics.
After Daiyu graduated from Fudan University she went back to her former highschool McTyeire School for Girls. She had arranged a meeting with the principal prior to her graduation in order to get a spot in the faculty. Daiyu had wanted to teach at this school as she knew the environment was a comforting place for her to start out. It was a school she always felt safe in and each year the students would always improve. After a thorough interview with the Principal, Daiyu became their Culinary teacher for all grades. Daiyu felt it was better for the students to mingle between their older and younger peers in order to grow a better environment. She felt that her class and teaching methods would make it so all students would feel safe and well taught.
