CLUB INFORMATION
What is the Official Title of the Club:
D&D Club ( Dungeons And Dragons Club )
Your current Members RPName & IGN:
Elodie MacLeod | imRea
Lyanna C. K. | DreamyBluz45
Aurelie MacLeod | NickiMinajRP
Min Janggok | maeie
What is your Motivation for Creating this Club:
My motivation for building this club was to spread joy towards students, especially to those who are interested in fantasy and imagination. The lack of fun-related clubs at school encouraged me to start my own club that will cater to students of all ages. Students are given complete freedom in choosing their own destiny and personalities, as well as the freedom to create scenes of their favorite characters. Additionally, students can achieve their own fantasy goals. It's important for students to have fun and go on adventures with others while they are still young. Furthermore, creating this club is a great way to achieve a goal that every student is able to reach in the future.
What Events could your Club do?:
1- Camp trips; There are plenty of stories to be told during camp trips, as well as opportunities for students to engage in conversations with each other and have sleepovers. Finally, there are a lot of games to play during the forest night.
2- Boardgames; The students will have the opportunity to pick their own teams and play against one another during our boardgames night
3- Character roleplaying; The goal of this activity is to troubleshoot the mystery by creating characters, finding out about them via roleplaying, and collaborating with their classmates.
4- Storytelling; A storytelling competition could take place for all students; students tell or write stories based on just a single word and a particular genre, and the winner would receive a prize.
5- Mystery solving; A competition! Students from all ages would be able to participate in a mystery-solving competition, in which they would have to uncover and explain the truth behind a problem.
How could your Club benefit the School?:
The club can benefit students of all ages as it offers social skills training, when working in a team environment. The club can also help students develop problem-solving skills, leadership abilities, public speaking capabilities, and even math skills. For students who are shy or socially awkward, or who have difficulty interfacing with others, this club could be a great outlet for them. Students are also able to interact with each other during a teamwork project. Moreover, it allows students to speak up for themselves and their needs in a logical way. Their creative thinking skills will be strengthened, and their impulse control will improve as well as their turn-taking skills. Students are encouraged to become more confident about their choices by joining this club.
Could your Club benefit from a club room or space on school grounds? If so, how?:
The club could use a club room during any time of the day to make club members feel comfortable.
the club room can display boards for club meetings and updates, and club members can participate in board games and character-making sessions, where they can make their own fictional characters.
It would be a good idea if our club room included a small stage on which members could practice, as well as some seating. It could also use an arts and crafts table to create the character figures into small wooden pawns, which would develop our members creativity skills.
Does your club have a supervising Professor/Teacher? If so, who?:
Rachel Shimizu | iicloudy_days
Is your club global, or only open to specific students?:
It's open for everyone and for anyone who wishes to join and follow their dreams can do so while becoming better educated.
