Describe your activity on the server:
I am very VERY active; I am on every day for several hours a day. I am usually running around the map or roleplaying with a few people! I recently started really getting into roleplays as an adult and have actually gotten the chance to do combatRP and some injury stuff! I am also on the high school baseball team, so I do that too! Whenever there are events on SRP I tend to go running around interacting with the people and really do get a good look at what people are doing! I also tend to watch people roleplay to get a better aspect of roleplaying on SRP. I’ve also been a part of the whole Art/Tailoring commissions side of SRP, and I have so much fun developing my style. Sometimes I mess up when it comes to certain sides of RP but I always learn my mistakes and move on! I've also recently started trying to get more into DETAILRP and that is just so fun because of how expressive it makes your character feel. Although I am not the best at it, I find it immensely fun and love using new words to describe situations and emotions, because I've always struggled with that.
Whenever I get home from college or work, I do tend to get on SRP unless my family wants to go out. These are usually unpredictable I fear but I always try to get on for at least an hour a day! And Altough I do not have the most applications, I have on this server for a few years and have only recently realized how much more I can do within this server, I got my first big role as a Teacher, that was incredibly fun, and I even joined a Team, though it wasnt for long it showed me a different side of SRP.

APPLICATION INFORMATION
What position are you applying for?:
I am applying to be a Governor!
What is your motivation for applying?:
My motivation when it comes to applying for government comes from being bored a majority of the month, I have IC baseball practices on the weekends and then I’m generally bored a huge majority of the week since my roleplay buddies have a life outside of SRP and aren't always available to RP with me. I know that if I get into this faction, I will be able to experience a new side of SRP as I don’t usually apply for things, I only recently applied for teacher and that was fun. The things I've heard about the government faction on SRP sound so interesting, there’s a side where people trust them and then the group who hate the government. There’s just so many roleplaying opportunities that I think would be so fun to be a part of! I also have a few friends in the Government Faction that have expressed the fact that it is a fun faction to be a part of, and I want to experience that for myself!
Do you have an understanding of Karakura’s laws & Constitutional rights?:
Before this I had very little information about anything in regard to Karakura's laws & Constitutional rights. But after wanting to join the Government faction I have made sure to study these laws and gained a better understanding of what is legal and what is Illegal. I have learned that there are so many things that could you get in trouble with the law, and how long you would have to serve a sentence for depending on the crime that was committed. I'm happy that I was able to find these rights because without them I would've been a lost puppy wandering around not knowing if something was wrong or right. If you commit a crime, it's either a felony or a Misdemeanor but it all really depends on what exactly you did, different crimes get you different consequences in life after all.
What are your goals for being in Government Faction?:
My goals for being in Government Faction would be me learning how to roleplay better, interaction with newer faces, as I tend to stick to the same crowd of people. Learn more about the Karakura Government employees and how exactly their thinking process works when it comes to the Town of Karakura ICLY, and just overall learning about a new part of SRP that I haven’t exactly gotten the chance to explore! So far, I have learned more than I knew when I've started because of the Government Faction. There have been so many events with them and it has been so cool to see the different sides of the people of Karakura. Whether it's people who hate the government, LOVE the government, are simply against it or even people who ignore it. I personally feel as though these events would be so fun to be a part of because of the controversial takes some people have. I have also noticed how the activity within this faction has died down SO MUCH, and it's genuinely really sad to see, especially when players need something oocly or icly from this faction but can't find anyone to help them because no one is active, I have so much motivation to bring activity to the government faction, I am usually consistently on SRP, but lately I haven't exactly found a reason to stay on for longer, being in this faction would bring me 10x more motivation to get on to this server and roleplay.
In your own words, describe the different roles of the Government Faction:
Governors:
Governors are usually the people who hand out ID’s and put people into the system, they allow people who want to get married to their loved one by officiating said marriage, Attend Trials of sorts, roam around surveying the public, help start families by approving adoption paperwork, and even make sure that shops aren’t breaking any violations and are in tiptop shape, because these shops are often visited and we don't want anything bad to happen while people are out shopping! They are usually the people I see around handing people ID's and registering them into the system. Governors have recently also been able to give out marriage certificates, adoption certificates and Death certificates now! These allow people to keep track of the things they have put into the Karakura system. Since these usually need a lot of information.
Lawyers:
Lawyers attend Trials but with their clients and defend them, they often have to argue against their opponent using the evidence they have gathered to prove or not prove someone's innocence. Lawyer's answer attorney calls, go to client meetings to gather evidence and make sure they inform their client on the situation and any updates about said case, file restraining orders on dangerous people to keep the people safe from people they believe are dangerous, of course they have to have valid evidence for these restraining orders, sit in the front desk and work, and finally they build up clientele. The most important role because they either defend people who were lets say assaulted by a criminal and get that said criminal locked up so that they can do their time since they decided to commit a crime. Lawyers have the ability to file various types of motions when it comes to any and all types of cases and then they pass it onto the Judges as well!
Judges:
Attending trials, judges are usually the most important role when it comes to trials because they dictate whether someone is innocent or not and are the ones who can negatively or positively affect someone's life by using the Karakura laws. They issue warrants on properties that KPD need in order to look through and potentially lock up a criminal. Reviewing cases, officiating marriages like governors do, file restraining orders on dangerous people, do front desk work and again help make families well families by approving adoption paperwork! Judges also now do preliminary reviews; these decide whether or not your case goes to court
Deputy Mayor:
The deputy mayor is the 2nd highest rank in terms of the government in Karakura. This person usually steps in for important jobs whenever the mayor isn't available for things like speeches, public appearances, attend important meetings, sign documents in place of the mayor, of course there are limits to these, usually the deputy mayor only steps in if they're again not available or the task at hand isn't as "important' or a situation that would be considered "smaller".
The Mayor:
The big man or woman. The Mayor is the one in Karakura that has subjectively the MOST power in terms of construction and making brand new buildings to replace the old and rundown buildings in Karakura. They have the power to hold speeches within the government faction and the public! The mayor of course manages the lower ranks of the government. They attend meetings that are seemingly more important and even plan a meeting themselves. The mayor is mainly supposed to improve Karakura by keeping all the citizens safe and sound, as well as making space for new things in this town.
Do you acknowledge that upon being accepted you can be subject to removal at any given time?:
Yes! I completely understand this!
Have you read & agreed to follow the Government Faction rules?:
Yes!

Full name:
“Solveig Kraūss.” Offering her hand out for a handshake as she spoke. "It's a pleasure to be able to be in this interview today! I am rather excited to answer all your questions!"
Preferred title (Mr., Mrs., etc.):
“I prefer Ms. Kraūss as I am not married at the moment.” A small smile rested on her face. Perchance this will change.
Current age:
The Krauss would smile softly staring at the individual for a while before answering,
“I am currently 27 years young actually!” Solveig clapped her hands together just once! Though she believed asking for a woman's age was rude, for the sake of this interview she dismissed it, she needed this job and being rude is not very nice.
Date of birth:
“I was born on January 3rd, 1999, along with my twin brother!"
Academic Background:
“I have a high school diploma and a bachelor's degree; I majored in communication AND law and justice.” The Kraūss beamed. She was clearly proud of herself. "Though throughout my childhood I was raised to do what's right. That made me super motivated to do well in school, so I was always an B average student and SOMETIMES I got A's. I got so interested in government work that I would always take a government class, and surprise surprise I got the highest grades in those classes because of how involved and fascinating it was to learn in that class, I even decided why not go learn about the government of the United States! I was a transfer student for about 2 years, throughout all that I was so focused on learning everything I possibly could!" - "Getting involved in the government means that you get involved in Politics, the politics of some parts of the world are truly horrifying honestly. I eventually ended up taking some classes that involved Politics, and although they were interesting. They got draining after hearing all the horrible stuff that happens, nonetheless I gained so much knowledge because of those classes."
Work experience:
Tilted her head to the side taking a moment to think. “I was actually a government worker back home in Germany! I was actually supposed to put in a transfer request but never got to it!” Kraūss intertwined her hands as she spoke. It was clear she missed having a job. Something to keep her going, something that would be her responsibility to take care of. "I have always admired government work, so as soon as I could I would find opportunities to intern in law firms, it fascinated me to learn about the type of hard work it goes into building a stable and amazing government. At one point I was focused on the laws of Germany, so as one would, I researched and researched, and then I began studying the laws of different countries and states, it's truly a surprise how different some laws are. So I have all the necessary experience if I do say so myself." A crooked grin on her face.
Nationality & born location:
Solveig’s eyes sparkled as soon as this question was asked, a sense of pride for where she was born and raised glittering on her face, “I am German and was born in Goslar Germany! A nice place to grow up if I do say so myself!” - "Though there are some parts I don't exactly enjoy about my home- But we're not here to trauma dump!"
Criminal record:
Grinned. “I am NO criminal! I am a law-abiding citizen! Why would I work in the government if I was one? I mean I know there are shady people out there that want to spy on them but that isn't me!” A hand folded in front swatting the air downwards giving an 'as if!' vibe. "At least I shouldn't have one? I just moved here not too long ago after all..." A sheepish look washed upon the blonde's face.

"I want to make a difference in Karakura. I want families to be able to adopt children they have grown close with, being able to bond with a stranger so much that they consider each other family. A truly heartwarming situation wouldn't you say? Being able to be a part of such an important role in the town of Karakura would be so eye-opening and a unique experience that I would love to be a part of. Especially with all the stuff going on within Karakura, I have so much motivation to make changes within this town whether it's a small or big change. As long as one really wants to make an impact I feel like it's bound to even make even the smallest of changes." The blonde would clasp her hands together under the table, "I believe that the people best suited for a job like this would have to have a backbone and compassion and a strong sense of motivation. I have those things, being able to help people is a wonderful feeling, this job is an important part of this town after all. I have been waiting patiently for this job opportunity and I believe that patience is something one must have for this job."
