So this morning I was going to get online but it wasn't working? I tried logging on like usual but I kept getting an error... so I tried fixing it by updating Java and now it logs me in - disconnects and when I try a second time in the same open launcher it crashes entirely. Help?

Okay. Do this
Open Launcher>Click Launch Options>Click Advanced Settings>Click on the version you use>Click JVMArguments>Highlight the number that’s inside “Xmx1G”.
Changing that number will change the amount of gigabytes you use during that game mode.
Makes sure that you use version 1.12.1 because when using 1.12.2 with servers under it, it can cause an error accasionally.
