I have had 1 ban on my account, that being a 2 week ban for ERP back in early 2021. I was just screwing around for fun and I now heavily regret that decision. I have grown and matured as a person since and I assure you that it will not happen again.
Describe your activity on the server:
My activity on the server has gone up and down since I started playing years ago. My playtime on my account is 5 weeks and I’ve been playing since 2019 from what I can remember. My usual activity is at least 2-3 hours a day back when I played frequently but I do take breaks throughout the years to make sure I do not burn out or lose interest in the server. I have just come back from a long break from SRP and my passion has returned for the server.

What experiences do you have with roleplay?:
I have roleplayed for many years now with now it being 5 years since I started to roleplay. I first started with Discord text-based roleplay with genres such as fantasy, superhero, military and sci-fi. While I still participate in pure text based rp, I moved onto other types of rp such as Minecraft where I discovered SRP. I found it to be very different, the mixture of gameplay and in time dialogue was really fun for me. For medical/hospital based rp, I only had some experience when I roleplayed as an army field medic back in mid 2022. I would need deeper knowledge and I’m willing to learn and improve for it.
What is your motivation for applying?
Mostly my motivation was when I first witnessed the SRP medical staff work. It seemed like a lot of fun for them, especially the interactions and scenarios that they would encounter. When I tried out medical based rp for the first time last year, I really found it enjoyable. It's hard to explain what certain aspect hooked me into it but I’m hoping I can find that joy here too if I am accepted to join the hospital faction.

What knowledge do you have of Hospital Work?
To be honest my knowledge of hospital work is general or brief to say the least. I only know from what I researched myself, the shows I've watched and from one relative that is in the health industry. While I might not know as much as you may desire, I am very willing to expand my knowledge and learn more.
As for hospital work in SRP, I do have a much better knowledge of what the staff do. Surgeons are self explanatory, their role is to perform surgery on any character that needs it. From what I’ve seen it can range from surgery needed due to violent wounds such as stab wounds or even amputation to surgery needed to counteract diseases or other icly issues. For Doctors, their role is to examine, inspect and check patients for injuries or issues that they may have. They prescribe medication, advise those with questions and treat whatever they can that would not require surgery. For Psychiatrists, they do not focus on physical injury, they instead focus on mental health. Characters who wish to fix an issue they have mentally would approach a psychiatrist. There are also the Paramedics. They act outside of the hospital most of the time, focusing on keeping the patient alive on site of the issue or whilst they are transporting them to the hospital so that the other hospital staff can assist.

Backstory (100+ Words)
Yosuke was born in June 1996 to a Japanese national and a French immigrant. His upbringing was different to other kids in the city, with a foreign mother he was taught different beliefs and a different culture since he was a young child. Whilst his mother was a very gentle parent, his father was incredibly strict with high expectations. These expectations paved the path to where Yosuke is today.
Entering into his teen years, Yosuke was quite different in his personality to other kids his age. He was quiet, antisocial and often very blunt with his opinions. His parents began to worry that this behavior would be a problem in the future, that was until they saw his interest and passion in helping his fellow classmates. While Yosuke was still alienating himself, whenever someone he knew was hurt or in pain, Yosuke would always approach them and try to help even if his attempts had no effect. This passion towards helping others started the interest and desire to work in the medical industry as a doctor.
As Yosuke neared the end of his days in high school, Yosuke showed great promise with his goals. His grades were high and he had little to no issues at school but he hit a major roadblock upon the sudden death of his father. He was 16 at the time and his father was heading home from work. A drunk driver was on the road and crashed into his father on the sidewalk. The news devastated Yosuke and made it harder for him to continue on in school but he managed to persevere with the help of his mother and with therapy.
After graduating from high school, Yosuke was one of the lucky few to manage to immediately get into medical school. The 6 years of learning was challenging for him to say the least, whilst his focus and passion on his studies did certainly help him throughout the course, this did sadly also increase his antisocial behaviour. On most nights he would lock himself away in his dorm reading through all his books, some say that this was the reason why he passed. Locking himself away pushed away all possible distractions. But that didn't mean he sailed smoothly in school, he still struggled throughout but kept pushing through in order to make his late father proud. At the age of 24, the young man managed to finally obtain himself a medical degree. After obtaining his MD, Yosuke went on to do his residency before traveling to Karakura, hoping to start off in a new city and accomplish his dreams.

What is your character’s medical speciality? Why did they choose this focus?
Yosuke specialises in physiotherapy. He chose this focus because of his time back in school where he would help injured kids if they got hurt running around. He wants to do the same with anyone and with physiotherapy he can help anyone recover themselves when it comes to their injury.
What medical residencies did your character take after medical school?
Yosuke did his residency in physiotherapy after graduating medical school
Does your character have any work experience in medical positions?
The only work experience he has was during his residency in physiotherapy where he was helping patients recover from their injuries. Apart from that, he has no other work experience.

Describe your character; how do they look, what makes them unique?
Yosuke stands at a height of 178cm (5’10) and weighs 69 kg (152 lbs). Yosuke sports medium length blonde hair with small patches found to have darker hair. His eyes are a light jade green that seem to look often cold with no emotion to them. His face is neatly clean shaven with no facial hair to be found. His usual attire outside of work is a brown jacket paired with blue jeans and a white shirt. He’s always dressed somewhat smart even when he’s in a casual setting.
His overall personality can be seem to be rather bland at most times. His usual tone of voice is plain and cold with only a few moments here or there where it fluctuates. It also carries a unique accent, as Yosuke can both speak French and Japanese fluently, his accent is a strange mix between the French and Japanese as he spoke both languages at a regular basis between both of his parents. When it comes to his attitude, he's a very blunt person and it's seen in his work and personal life, to most people he will speak his mind as he believes that the complete truth is always better for the person receiving it over a lie.
However there are times where he would alter from his bluntness and that is dealing with children. Children can be a rough spot in the medical profession especially if it involves heavy news and so Yosuke prefers to find a way to gloss over the truth for the child's betterment. When it comes to humour, Yosuke finds humour in the little things and that's represented in his jokes. His jokes are often cheesy and corny but he absolutely loves telling them even if they're rare to come by. It's one of the things that makes him smile a lot. He's mostly making them for his own sake but seeing others crack a smile every now and then also brightens up his day.
How does your character act on and off duty?
When Yosuke is on duty, he acts professionally and with respect towards his fellow coworkers and patients. He occasionally can be seen to pull off a joke or the sarcastic comment but those are rare to see. He likes to be alone, often tucked away doing some work in an office or eating his lunch quietly in the break room. He still has to communicate to his fellow coworkers and patients but he only ever does it when he needs to since he despises small talk.
When it comes to the time where Yosuke is off duty, he doesn't really have a shift in attitude. It's as if he doesn't have a separation between his working life and personal life. He still stays just as professional and formal, he still quiet as always but he seems to have no issues with it. He has no proper connections, hobbies or friends outside of work so why bother changing the way he acts.
Does your character function better on their own or with others?
Yosuke is used to working alone, he garnered this trait back in school when he had little to no friends and thus he prefers to work alone rather than in a group. He believes that his isolation can allow him to focus and concentrate more than if he were to be with others, however, he does believe that with more people it would be easier to solve harder problems. He isn't irritated if he has to work in a group as long as everyone does their jobs.
What plans does your character have for the future?
Yosuke plans to achieve his goal of becoming a great doctor. He wants more than anything to make his family proud and provide for them whenever he can. Outside of his career Yosuke would like to explore more of the city and be more social with his coworkers, he wants to try and change his nature of being antisocial as it is slowly becoming a problem for him. Despite the moments when he enjoys his time alone, he envies those with close family members and friends. He's becoming more and more lonely as the days go by, he hopes that can change.
How is your character perceived by others? How does it contrast with their perception of themself?
When it comes to people meeting Yosuke, he’s often perceived the same way by everyone. He’s a very professional man who can be seen to occasionally be cold, alienating and blunt and thus he can sometimes come off as rude because of it even though he has no ill intentions. Although with time, they can see that Yosuke is a very caring man who takes great pride and pleasure with his work. When it comes to his own view of himself, it can contrast to what others perceive of him. Yosuke finds that his traits both positive and negative represent who he is and that he shouldn't need to change nor fix any. He understands that his attitude can be cruel and direct in some moments but he feels that its necessary for helping others strive and change for the better. In the end, he feels that these traits help him with his job and his ultimate goal, to care for as much people as possible.
