I’ve spent a lot of time on the server developing and growing my character's personality and backstory within the sports faction. What is your motivation for applying?:
For the past 3 years, I have only been a part of the sports factions. While my time in the sports factions is both good and fun, I would like to expand my horizons and try out a different faction and get to interact with different people. For a long time, I was only interested in the sports faction. When I became more active due to sports team events, I became extremely interested in the KPD specifically. Of all the factions, KPD stood out to me the most. KPD being one of the most important and essential factions in SchoolRP, it caught my eye almost immediately. I’ve always had an aptitude for helping others, whether it’s in game or out of character. Doing activities outside of the game, like community service, has boosted my passion for helping others. In addition, I am confident in my problem solving abilities, which are essential while working in a profession such as the KPD. As an officer, you need strong problem solving abilities, while also making decisions on the fly. Similarly, teamwork and cooperation is required for all members of the KPD. I strongly believe my time as a member of sports teams within and outside of the game has honed my ability to work well within a team setting.
What knowledge do you have of Police Work?

Training occurs when a new person gets accepted into the KPD. When they are accepted, they have the title of ‘Cadet’. The training will bring all Cadets into an official Officer. | Patrolling is an important part of an officer's responsibilities. While on patrol, they monitor the streets of Karakura, looking for potential criminal activity. | CCTV Cameras are placed all around the town and school which can be used for evidence for criminal activity. Although the school cameras do not catch footage usable by the KPD. |
Why is Police important to SchoolRP?
Police are important to the safety of all the citizens of Karakura. Ensuring their safety by fighting crime and handling criminal offenses effectively and efficiently. The KPD responds to all criminal activity which is usually done by gang affiliations. Although different factions, GangRP and KPD work hand in hand. These two factions have plenty of involvement with each other. Without KPD, there would be no protection for the citizens of Karakura and no one to enforce the city laws against gang affiliates.
Do you acknowledge that if training is held whilst you are online, you are needed to attend or you will be punished?
I understand that I must attend training sessions when available or it will lead to a punishment.

Describe your character; how they look, what makes them unique?
Kazumi stands at a short but proud 5’7” (170.18 cm). Kazumi’s light brown hair was messy and unorganized, complimenting his bright and shiny eyes which were also light brown. Upon even a slight glance at him, it was obvious he is a young man with a bubbly personality. Often seen with a smile on his face. Kazumi can be described as an unserious man that is easily entertained by small things. Although mostly unserious, he is capable of switching his demeanor almost immediately.
How does your character act in a professional/casual situation?
Kazumi can switch from his professional self to a casual mindset almost instantly. While in professional situations, he presents himself as respectful and polite to those around him. During professional situations, Kazumi’s lighthearted jokes and mannerisms take a back seat, turning into a quiet and attentive individual, especially around his peers and co-workers. His ability to completely change his demeanor is something he takes great pride in. On the other hand in a casual situation or setting, he is a jokester who loves to laugh. Kazumi gets joy from seeing others smile and laugh from his antics. He is often described as a “Ray of Sunshine”, having the ability to lighten up the mood of those around him with ease. As a person who doesn’t care what others think of him, he always tries to put himself out there to socialize with not only his friends and family, but even to people he doesn’t know.
What is their outlook on the idea of co-workers & teamwork?
Kazumi respects and values individuals who can work well and communicate well within a team environment. He strongly believes teamwork is one of the most important skills to have. Always willing to help others, also translates in a work environment. He is willing to do whatever is needed for a team to be successful, even if he must take a role he doesn’t prefer as long as it benefits the team in a positive manner. As a former Captain of the Spartan Volleyball team, teamwork and cohesion is at the top of his values list.
What's your character's backstory?
From an early age, Kazumi was a kind and considerate boy. Constantly caring for his younger brothers and sisters before himself. He always wanted the best for them. Both him and his siblings were all athletically gifted. With the natural talents they had, they all joined Volleyball. As the years passed, they trained with each other becoming talented players in the process. This brought the Chizuru siblings closer together, with what he thought was an unbreakable bond. The strength of this bond was put to the test many years later.
When Kazumi turned 20 years old, he and his family wanted to bring their athletic skills to a school, and play together on the same team. With this new found ambition, they ended up in Karakura. Kazumi was never the academically gifted sibling. Always needing to study harder than his peers, he found himself always playing catch up in terms of knowledge and understanding at a higher level. After years of hard work and studying, Kazumi enrolled into Karakura High School as a College student. Kazumi became an official College student studying for Science in Criminology.
After the first few months of his new college life, he yearned for Volleyball again. Training endlessly, he worked to get on the Spartan Volleyball Team. Kazumi’s sister was a member of the Spartan Female Volleyball team, which drove him to be on the Male team. All he wanted was to face his sister in a tournament setting. Unfortunately for him, it didn’t turn out how he assumed it would. One by one for various reasons, all of Kazumi’s siblings vanished around him. As quick as the Chizuru’s arrived, they all vanished. Now feeling lonely and lost, Kazumi had another motive to get onto the Volleyball team, to make his brothers and sisters proud. Months and months of training had paid off for Kazumi as he was accepted onto the team. Now a player for a collegiate level of Volleyball, Chizuru was more motivated than ever.
Kazumi being a social butterfly, he got comfortable with his team. He built a special bond with each of them on an individual level. The bonds he built on this team weren’t going to amount to the bond he was about to form. On a rather uneventful day, he encountered an unexpected interaction. Not just any interaction, an interaction that would build an unbreakable bond that would change his life entirely. On this day, he met a tall, confident, and strong woman that went by the name of Lyric Hunter. Off of the first interaction, Kazumi knew that she was truly special. They spent hours and days talking about their goals, desires, and hobbies. Now growing very close and becoming best friends, feelings that were platonic became to turn into romantic feelings for each other. Although they were extremely different, polar opposites in some aspects, they complimented each other perfectly. After a flash of bravery shown by Kazumi, the two ended up as lovers.
Two long years later, Kazumi and Lyric have now got married. Along with the marriage, Lyric was now pregnant and expecting twins. With this on the horizon, Kazumi was met with a choice. He could stay in Volleyball, or he could quit Volleyball entirely to help Lyric take care of the twins. After weeks of thinking, he chose to quit Volleyball and to help take care of his wife during labor. Saddened about his abrupt end to his Volleyball career that started at such a young age, he found closure knowing that he can be happily with his wife and two twins for the rest of his life knowing he won’t have any regrets.
At the current age of 26, Kazumi has returned to Karakura after a hiatus from the town for some years. Wanting to assist Lyric financially, he looked towards the KPD. Kazumi has always had one constant goal, to help others in need. As an officer, he can protect others which is all he ever wanted to do. Kazumi had a passion and a desire to become an officer, because he always saw officers as "heroes" so to speak.

If you see your co-workers physically abusing an inmate, what should you do?
“This behavior is not encouraged and absolutely unacceptable. I would first utilize the Radio system. Using the radio to call for any backup from any available officers. I would then take it upon myself to separate the co-worker and the inmate. If the inmate is seriously injured, medical services will be contacted. Once the inmate has been completely separated from the co-worker, either moved back into his cell or escorted by EMS, the co-worker should be taken into custody for possible Assault charges. If the co-worker is found guilty at all, they can be sentenced to 2 months in jail and lose their title as an Officer.”
What should you do if you see your co-worker being assaulted?
“If I see my co-worker being assaulted, I will radio for backup. I will step in and break the two apart from each other once assistance has been requested. In a situation where my co-worker is badly injured from this altercation, medical services will be contacted over the radio. Once the two have been separated, the individual who was assaulting the co-worker will be detained and brought in for prosecution and given jail time for Assault and any other offenses they committed during the act.”
What do you do if you find out that your co-worker is corrupt and is helping criminal organizations?
“If a corrupt co-worker is helping a criminal organization, I would first ask fellow co-workers if they had any information or evidence on said person. If evidence is available, I would present said evidence to the higher-up and let them dictate a proper punishment for the corrupt individual.”
How would you react to a criminal trying to bribe you?
“As soon as the offer is given, I would deny it immediately without hesitation. Bribery of an Officer is a finable offense, therefore they would be detained and fined the proper amount for bribery of a police officer.”
