How does your character know this language?: Kanokwan Hayashida is a half Korean-Half Thai female who grew up in Busan with her brother, Minato Hayashida, in their grandparents household. Her grandmother thought it would be better to keep the Korean tradition alive in the family, so she thought it would be best to teach Kanokwan Korean. She went to after school programs, went through work books, and private lessons to learn the language that didn't seem to quite click for her. After about 4 years of learning both formal and broken Korean, she finally learned how to speak fluently to her family before moving to Karakura, Japan.
