I can’t quite remember when, however the ban was for 1 hour - due to failure to comply with staff, Upon my sister and I wanting to buy an apartment each.

In as much detail as possible, describe the employee role you are applying for:

A school caretaker is one who ensures that students and members of the school faculty are able to work and study in clean and peaceful study areas. They are responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sometimes simple repair work, changing a bulb, or the like. A caretaker also might offer assistance working hand in hand with other members of the school faculty, helping to do basic tasks such as printing. In Karakura High, some places of interest where the caretaker might be responsible for is the cleanliness of the various classrooms and toilets around the school, along with assisting in the plant nursery, to do necessary trimming and tending to crops in the garden.

What experience, in general, do you have in roleplay?:
The first experience I’ve ever had in roleplay was when I first joined SchoolRP, in 2017. Although I wasn’t the best roleplayer back then, I slowly started developing a somewhat serious way of roleplaying the more I saw other people roleplay. Right now, that experience I’ve acquired is portrayed in many of my actions, some of which contain great amounts of detail.

Situations

During a work-shift a student starts cursing at you for being pathetic, how does your character react?:

Nabi would respond in a calm manner towards the student, to avoid provoking further unnecessary bad behaviour, warning the child that if the action continues, I would then explain to them that their behaviour could be considered harmful and offensive , and further punishments will be given. After a fair warning is sent their way, if it continues she would do exactly as she warned she would.

You notice two students are physically fighting in the hallway, – multiple punches have been thrown – how does your character react?:
Nabi would be fully willing to do whatever she could to stop the fighting from happening. Her most likely option, being to push the two apart moving herself between them to stop the punches from continuing, though doing so may cause herself to be hit in the crossfire, that's a risk she's willing to take being that she is a firm believer that the children's lives are more important than that. That's what the schools purpose is for after all, to ready the students to move forward in their lives. As for what she would do next, detentions would be handed out immediately, followed by a warning for if the behaviour continues further consequences would be taken.

Another school employee is clearly acting inappropriately, doing something very dangerous on the job, how does your character react?:
Nabi would firstly step back and think firstly how to best protect her students from any situation, and if safe to do so, remove the school employee from the situation.

She would then talk to the school employee to discuss the situation and how the whole situation was handled inappropriately. She would also remind the school employee to not repeat the same situation again, and depending on how serious the situation was, she would also proceed to inform the head of department or SLT.

When in the employee break room, how does your character act?:

In the employee break room, Nabi would be sipping a drink on her desk, going through students' assignments, and identifying topics her students are weak in, and thinking of how to help them understand certain concepts.

She would also socialise with other employees such as teachers in the breakroom, to get a sense of what is currently being taught in class, and to share common mistakes students that come in for tutoring.

When she sees other employees who are having a bad day, or feeling down, she would also try to comfort them by offering a snack, and offering a listening ear to them.

brushing her finger across the ledge of the desk, she would feel a thick blob of dust build up against her finger. Without any hesitation, she took out bright yellow cleaning gloves, and placed it on her hands, gripping the handle of her feather duster and brushed the desks in a sweeping up-down motion.

/me Whistled a familiar tune as she held her trusty broom, sweeping the floor in front of her in a circular motion as she moved around, covering the nearby areas. She would have an exhausted but honest expression on her face, as she ensures cleanliness for the hardworking students.

/me The female sat down in front of the plant in a crossed-legged fashion, and pulled her orange shears out from her pocket.She carefully trimmed the edges of the plants, and at the same time examined the plant to ensure that it is growing healthy.

Backstory:
Nabi M. Higasa was born in 1995 as a cheery bubbly girl in modern-day Japan. She is a creative girl that likes listening to music as well as drawing. Growing up, Nabi was one of the rare children that enjoyed going to school, having had many memorable experiences in the school.

Nabi grew up as a bright student who enjoyed studying. She had many memorable experiences during her time as a student in school, including those with her friends in the tutor room. She liked studying and being in the cosy school environment in general, and enjoyed the company of friends while she studied.

When Nabi was picking what to study in college, she chose to pursue her interests in Art and Music, as well as minors in Maths and English. Choosing to study four different subjects was not easy, but with the guidance of the teachers, tutors as well as many late night study sessions with her friends, she managed to graduate college in 2016.

Shortly after she graduated, she had a period of time whereby she wasn't sure what she wanted to do. She wanted to work somewhere where she felt familiar, and confident. She underwent a long period of meditation, and that is when she was reminded of her fond memories at the school.

She was curious how it was actually like working in a High School, and had asked several members of the faculty about how working as a school worker feels like. She believed that tutoring was what she wanted to do, having had many fond memories of kind tutors, and she wanted to offer the same to students who wanted help to do well.

However, after some time in tutoring, she felt that tutoring was not what she imagined for Nabi, and that although having experience being a student helping others in their studies, compared to being a full-on tutor, the workload is much more. She didn't want to leave the school entirely, as she enjoyed being a member of the school faculty, but she felt that she needed a change.

While she was in the employee break room, she overheard some professors talking about spots for school caretakers being open. She thought much about it, and pondered about it even during tutoring sessions, it felt like a good opportunity. In addition to filling in her tutoring hours, she did some basic cleaning here and there to make sure that this is what she wanted, and to prove that she can perform well in it.

Not long after, after consulting with some of her friends, she made the decision to transfer departments to become a school caretaker.


Motivation for Joining KHS:
One of my main aims when joining KHS is to get experience from being a school employee, for any possible future job as well as to know how it feels to take care of the school, I believe that school is the one environment where I feel more confident in, I clean one, knowing my surroundings as well its rules and what’s and what’s not allowed.


Do you have any previous experience working in a school environment? If so, please elaborate (If not, respond with "N/A"):

I have, and currently still am working as a school tutor, tutoring simultaneously as an Art and Music tutor to students. I tutored multiple students who required help with their studies, and tried to ensure that every student that came in, came out with new newfound knowledge and ideas.


Why should you be accepted over the other applicants?:
I have had experience knowing how to deal with students, having been working as a school faculty member as a tutor already, and I feel that with the responsibilities of a caretaker, that it will better allow me to help the school as a whole.
