What is your motivation for applying? I'll say this and it might be no different from anyone else's application but it would be my first time applying here for EMS and i would genuinely like to know what all happens, ive wanted too for a while but I didn't ever have the gut's to actually make an application and figured why not at least try?

What knowledge do you have of the roles within the Hospital Faction?
As of right now, I do not i'll be 100% honest.. and I'm not going to lie, I could just look at the forums and place what i see and go on my merry way, but I don't as I never took the time to look at the roles within the hospital faction and what each do, but i was hoping that if I get accepted that I could learn them..
Do you acknowledge that if training is held whilst you are online, you are expected to attend or you will be punished?

Majored Bichemisty, focusing on molecular biology, organic chemistry, and human physiology.
Master's Degree Biomedical Sciences
Pursued A Master's in Biomedical Sciences, conducting research on cellular regeneration and trauma recovery.

Character’s Marital Status: I'm single and LAME
Character’s Religious Denomination: I am a Deist.. it means that i don't serve a god, but I believe in one.
Character’s Spoken Languages: None I'm.. not good at learning languages
Character Backstory (Optional): Valentine grew up on a farm with her parent's, they had a farm and tended to sick animals, and whenever an animal needed some type of surgery or was sick, they came to her family's farm to be helped back to health, and it made her curious why things got ill, sick, die, and it confused her, she looked at everything was beautiful and that death was the saddest thing to ever exist. She couldn't fathom having the ability to help and not help them, and one day she wasn't taking care of her chores and her father who noticed, so he set her down and asked
"Valentine.. what's up with you? You love animals. You hate seeing them suffer, but today you didn't care in the slightest. I know that isn't what I raised you to be."
"Daddy.. I.. why do they have to die, they are just animals.. why do they have to suffer, why do they have to get sick, why do WE have to be sick? WHY it doesn't make sense in the slightest. If we just get sick, what's the point to try and prevent it?"
"Valentine.. We do what we do, because we have the ability to. People who have the ability to help have the moral obligation to do their best to help the people relying on them, doctors and surgeons hold a sacred life in their hands because the patients trust them enough to give their life to them. You may not a Christian like me or your mama but you have said you believe in God and you know God never intended for us to suffer like this. And with the world so set on tearing it's self apart, what's wrong with trying to piece a little bit of it back together?"
And that, started Valentines rethinking.. she hadn't thought of it like that.. she believed God never intended for people to get sick or die but she hadn't ACTUALLY put thought into it. But right then and there her father opened her eyes with the sentence 'We have the moral obligation to do their best to help the people."
She started buying all the books she could on human anatomy, and spending hours on end learning about the human body, how it worked, how one body relied on the other, how the blood flowed but didn't allow too much oxygen into the blood but just enough to keep you alive. Although her town wasn't too big it was just big enough that they had a doctor. And she knew the doctor well and he started teaching her all that she needed to know to attend doctor's school with help that late school nights she was down at his office for 4-5 hours max learning all that she could.

What is your character’s medical speciality? Why did they choose this focus?
Allergy and Immunology
Allergy and Immunology drew her in because it is the science of protection, understanding WHY the body sometimes fails to defend itself, why it reacts to harmless things as though it's a fatal enemy, and how to strengthen the body's defenses, To Valentine it was the closest thing to making sense of suffering, not just treating the illness, but trying to prevent it, giving people a chance to live without fear of the one thing keeping them alive also being the same thing to betray them.
She saw the beauty in the paradox, the immune system is invisible yet it's the strongest guardian you'll ever get, and it and it determines whether a person thrives or suffers... She wanted to understand why some bodies fought, and some just lay down and allow themself to get sick, and why sometimes they attack the wrong thing making the person suffer even worse.. The field of Allergy and Immunology became a way to wrestle with the question that haunted her since childhood.
Allergy and Immunology gave her a chance to move upstream, to possibly prevent suffering before it takes root. She saw it as the closest thing to make sense of illness and death, not just repairing broken bodies, but trying to teach the body how to protect itself and giving people the chance to live without fear of being betrayed just for living. In her eyes every discovery in immunology was more than science, it was a way to give dignity back to life.
Does your character have any work experience in medical positions?
She has medical experience from her home town and attending college to learn more medical training from the doctor in her home town and staying up countless nights late after medical school.

Describe your character; how do they look, what makes them unique? How would they be perceived by others?
Valentine would be gentle, she would be perceived as someone who would devote everything to help ease the suffering someone even if it's just temporary
How does your character act around the hospital? She's respectful to all who enter the hospital, considerate that some may be embarrassed too openly say that they need help, because that's common, she does what she can to make them feel comfortable and safe and be open without judgment
Does your character function better on their own or with others? She believes the more heads the better, she understands that not every time will someone's help will be available but more than happy to have help.
EXTRA: I ask that you please be.. lenient with me as I'm not the best at making applications.. I haven't been at all and I know i don't know a lot about being a doctor but I hope you'd allow me the chance.
