General Appearance
Appearance: Finn is an Irish male, standing at about 6'4" with a slim, but sculpted figure. The dusty blonde hair that stood atop his head would flow down the back of his neck. However, his jade green eyes would catch someone's attention. His clothing choice was laid back and gave off what he was really all about; a chill, flowing personality. Just above the collar of his shirt a scar reading, "S II" would be visible. The scent of a subtle Irish cider would flow through the air as he strolled by.

Personality: Through word of mouth, some may believe that Finn is a casual surfer-dude. While this is partially true, it's just what he shows to the general population. As you get to know him, you'll realize that he's actually quite the character. He can be funny at times, but his mood can switch to a much more serious one in a matter of seconds. He protects those he befriends, as it's something he's done naturally from a young age. When it comes to the one he's fallen for, this attribute is heightened to a whole new extreme. Something that highlights his personality like previously mentioned is his hobby of surfing. While he's been doing it since a young age, he's grown to be quite exceptional at it, even competing across the world at the professional level.

Serious Problems/Flaws/Addictions:

Finn was diagnosed with mild ADHD at a young age, with his main symptom being hyperfocus. Seen through when he's learning certain things like a new skill for surfing, he loses most to all sense of his surroundings to a greater extent than most people. He can also lose focus and switch topics without realizing it while talking from time to time, though this symptom isn't as prominent for him. Other than this, Finn suffers from PTSD induced night terrors of the last moment he saw his dad.

Finn also has a severe issue when it comes to alcohol. No matter the situation, he seems to always turn to it. While he has built himself quite the tolerance, he will force himself to drink past his limits in order to escape the reality that he's currently faced with. Some of the people around him have attempted to break his habit, but to no avail. Maybe someone will convince him someday, but for now he will continue to stick to the substance that he grew up around in his father's pub.

Skills: He has an incredible sense of balance from his years of surfing. Along with this, his legs are also quite prominent. If faced with a situation such as a fight, he would much rather send a kick towards his opponent than a punch. He's also grown to know a lot about marine life and geography. Traveling from country to country for surfing competitions allows him to explore each country and its culture. This is something that he absolutely loves doing, fully immersing himself in the culture whenever he gets the chance to.

Backstory

Finn was the first-born child of Nora and Rowan, only a few minutes prior to Rory. These two would soon be followed by the two middle siblings of the family; Lonan and Makoto. Finally, Clara would be born about two years after the middle children. The family of seven would live together in their hometown within County Sligo until Finn and Rory were about six, before deciding that this small town wasn't going to be the best fir for them. So, they decided to pack up their home and move to one of the best vacation destinations in Ireland; Wexford.

The scenery of the countryside was something that Finn will always hold dearly in his heart. Being in the great outdoors has always enticed him, though there wasn't much of anything else to do in the country anyways. His parents introduced him to a wide variety of outdoor activities. Bike rides, hiking, gardening, and sitting by the peaceful ocean water were all things that he picked up from his parents and grew to love. Although, none of these compared to the sport that stole his heart; surfing.

Wexford was the perfect spot for Finn's obsession with surfing to grow. The popular beaches drew in large crowds that also contained other surfers. However, he never believed that any of the other surfers were as good as his father. Rowan introduced the sport to Finn at the age of five by using a four foot long soft-board for him to practice on. Finn would practice as much as he could depending on how warm the waters were. As time went on, his passion for surfing would allow him to begin competing in surfing competitions starting at the age of nine. At the start he only competed in local events, but later on Rowan began to bring him to larger competitions all throughout Europe that were put on by the European Surfing Federation (ESF).

Throughout the duration of his travels, Finn grew a love for learning about each country's literature. He'd been introduced to reading at a young age, even beginning to read short novels by the age of six. He made it a point to grab a book about the country's geography and culture each time he visited a new place, building a collection that he now keeps on his favorite bookshelf within his apartment.

Later on, he and his siblings began working at his father's newly franchised pub; The Gaelic's Getaway. Finn started off as a server in the dining room of the pub, before making his way behind the bar to begin his bartending career. He'd always been a pretty vocal person, but this is where he began to learn how to better interact with the people around him. This is also where he began to find his cheery personality that is put on display for many. His common, "Heyo!" greeting was learned from behind the bar when Rowan told him that he should find his own unique greeting that people would remember him by.

One day, Finn and Rowan were on their way to their hidden surfing location along one of the more unused shorelines in Wexford. As they arrived at the beach, the two would start to get their boards ready before getting into their wetsuits. Once the two were ready, Finn would begin to trot down to the beach with his board tucked under his arm, before turning back to see his dad beginning to pick up his board as well. "You coming?" Finn would ask, halting his jog abruptly. Rowan would nod, flashing a bright smile as he shooed his son down the beach before saying, "You go on ahead. I'll be there in a minute!" Without a second thought, Finn would turn back towards the water and resume his jog. When he arrived at the shoreline, he'd enter the cool waters of Wexford and slowly walk out until he could get onto his board. Just as usual, he'd make his way out into deeper waters, smirking as he saw the enormous wave beginning to race towards him. Once he decided the wave was close enough, he'd spin his board around and begin to prepare for the oncoming wave. As he looked out at the shoreline, the sight before him sent a chill throughout his body. Rowan was nowhere to be found. . .

After falling victim to the wave, he'd wash up on the shore and quickly undo the cuff that rested around his ankle. His eyes would scan the entire shoreline as he sprinted about calling out for his father. Once he established that his father was nowhere on the beach, he'd hop into the family's old pickup truck and race down the dirt path that led towards the main road. He'd continue driving until he eventually reached the small gravel driveway beside his house. The door of the truck would swing open as soon as it was shut off, with Finn making a dead sprint to the front door. He'd struggle to get the key in the keyhole of the door, before the door abruptly opened from inside.

Standing in the doorway would be Clara, holding a note out to him as tears welled up in the corners of her eyes. He'd take the note as he scanned the lines, immediately recognizing that it was Nora's handwriting. "I'm so sorry my little bears, but I must leave now. Be sure to look out for each other, this world is a cruel place. I hope to see you all again, but until then, I love each of you to the moon and back." After reading these lines, Finn would crush the note in the palm of his hand as he pushed past Clara in order to enter the house. He'd enter each and every room, slamming the doors shut behind him after there was no trace of his parents. "Who is here?" All of the siblings would exit their rooms, meeting in the dining room around the table without actually answering Finn's question. "They're both gone. We're going to find them. I will make it my life's mission to find them. . ." They'd each nod as he said this, a few of them beginning to sniff back the tears. Before anything could be said, Finn would make his way to the front door, opening it and slamming it shut as he walked out.

After an entire year of extensive searching, the O'Shea siblings still had no evidence pointing to what exactly happened to their parents. Finn would be sitting in his father's old recliner, staring at the ceiling as he hung his head off the back of it. Just then, the sound of a knock on the door would echo throughout the entire house. Finn would gradually make his way towards the door, swinging it open without a care. To his surprise there wouldn't be anyone awaiting him in the opening. Instead, an envelope would lay on the ground at his feet. He'd pick it up, ripping it open to reveal its contents. Inside would be a singular note, precisely folded a few times. He'd unravel the letter, reading the singular word that was written upon it as his eyebrow raised; "Karakura". Finn would sprint to his computer, forgetting to close the door as he zoned in on the word. Once he'd opened up the search browser, he'd type the word in and find a plane ticket that would have him departing two hours from when he'd found the note. Without a moment of hesitation, he'd scramble to pack a bag, before heading to the airport where he'd be departing towards Karakura. . .
