What are your current roles on the server?:
Finnternet:
Grade 12.

Why are Teachers so important to SchoolRP?:
Teachers keep the school running! Without teachers, there wouldn't be classes. Without classes, SRP wouldn't be as realistic and fun as it is. The teachers work very hard to bring that realism into their classes, and plan very hard for lessons. SRP wouldn't be able to accomplish it's main theme of school without people playing the teachers. It's a very important role for roleplay, helping students learn and still have fun out of character. Teachers make the experience enjoyable and fun for all, regardless of your grade level, and I admire that.

Do you acknowledge that if you are inactive you may lose your role?:
Yes
Do you agree to undergo teacher training if your application is successful?:
Yes

In-Character Section

What's your character's full name?:
"Chikao Haru."
What is your character's nationality?:
"I am Japanese."
What is your preferred subject to teach?:
English

Describe your character:
Chikao is a stern looking individual, but as long as you are nice to him, he returns the kindness. He has medium ginger hair, and a soft gaze, with dark eyes, a dark brown. His clothing is quite casual, from a students eyes. Even with his kind face and 6'3 height, Chikao is a strict man when needed. He can discipline students whenever needed in the moment and become a much different man.

If others had warmed up and became friends with him, they would realize he is quite laid-back outside of school. Once he's outside of the gates, the tension releases and his focus shifts from teaching, to just having casual conversations with the students he had taught just hours ago. He's a very funny and lovable man.

What is your character's outlook on students and co-workers?:
"I respect all of the students, even if they are troublemakers sometimes.. I hope the respect would be mutual. Students do tend to have behavioral issues, but I still respect them as a person and one of my students."

"For my coworkers.." He pauses. "Also respect, nobody I've met at the school I have any negative opinions on. All of my coworkers are very diligent people with a great future ahead of them as educators or employees."

What is your character's motivation for teaching?:
Chikao wants to be able to teach the youth in Karakura, helping them learn more then they know now. He has always wanted to be a caretaker of sort for kids, working at an adoption center in Germany for multiple years before moving back to Karakura, his hometown. He wants to continue his career around kids, even if the people at the high school are older. Being a role model to them is his top priority.

Roleplay Scenarios

A student in class is struggling to understand the content, what would your character do?:
He walked to the students desk, leaning down slightly to be face to face with them. He had a calm expression, neutral. His hands stayed clasped behind his back as he spoke. "..Are you alright, (Name)? You seem to be struggling on the assignment. I can help a little extra if you need." He smiled gently, welcoming the student to ask for any assistance needed.

A student is continuously being disruptive in class, talking out of turn, and making jokes with classmates. What would your character do?:
He noticed the student as he was speaking, pausing to glare at them and giving a sigh. "(Name), please stop disrupting my class. I will not tell you again, this is your only warning." He narrowed his eyes, almost as if to say 'clear?' and continued his speaking.

He noticed once again as (Name) was speaking out of turn and making jokes with friends. He sighed, walking to his desk and grabbing a sticky note, jotting something down on it before placing it on (Name)'s desk. It was a pass to detention. He then continued as if nothing happened.

Provide at least 2 interactive class ideas related to your preferred subject:
- A class where students are given a prompt and will write poems about it. Different types of poems will be taught, and then the students will work independently. Extra credit can be given if the students explain the meaning of their poem and how it relates to the topic.

- A class where we learn about grammar and play quiz games about it, like Kahoot and Blooket. Stickers can be given to winners and extra credit, along with extra credit to students trying hard and having fun.
