Why are Teachers so important to SchoolRP?:
Teachers in SRP are generally one of the biggest building blocks of the entire server, they're a kind of royalty that keeps the server running and the school roleplay going. Teachers serve, just like in real life, to study, hand out grades based on test scores and homework, and are expected to have an understanding of their subjects. They give us players the opportunity to learn something new, whether it's English or physics. Mainly for fun, but more realistically, for studying, or to participate in mini-games or hikes. The teachers are players themselves who want to make a name for themselves on the server, which is how they gain respect and become friends with them. If there were no teachers on the server, a whole part of being there would be lost; the role of the teacher is what holds the school system together. For everything you do you get rewards like reward stickers, good grades or educational credits which can even get you into college with a good number of 50 from Teacher given homeworks. Teachers are also conflict mediators and are usually the best friends of the students and faculty. They prepare lessons and try their best to fill the lessons with tasks or games. Even though it can unfortunately be boring, it's mainly about memories for some people, being able to describe which teachers were good and which weren't, which also leads to scenarios where students talk about different teachers in-game and can build something new. Teachers also play a big role in emergencies like fire alarms, setting up intercoms or warning students, stopping arguments and dividing themselves up among those who need help even when nurses aren't on hand. Well, during fire alarms, for example, they act in a coordinated manner so that all students gather at a meeting point outside the school, while still making sure that no one is still inside the school when a fire breaks out. Or at school events like Halloween, a waltz, or other events, where teachers themselves work at booths as if they've changed careers, which isn't the case. In other words, they're also organizers and can at least bring some fun.

Do you acknowledge that if you are inactive you may lose your role?: Yes
Do you agree to undergo teacher training if your application is successful?: Yes

In-Character Section

What's your character's full name?: Mayuko Kurosawa
What is your character's nationality?: Japanese, Filipino
What is your preferred subject to teach?: Performing Arts (Music)

Describe your character:
Mayuko Kurosawa is a 4'9ft tall woman with a fairly slim yet sturdy build. Starting with her head, she is a creamy blonde with sky-blue eyes that look almost heavenly in their brilliance. Her cheeks are as pink as a tulip petal; she looks simply natural enough to make her stand out as a blonde Japanese woman, with a supple build and a hint of lavender. Her appearance alone describes how Mayuko behaves; a noble lady who usually reveals herself as a wealthy figure with white or normal clothing. Her soft yet fluid Japanese voice sounds as if she were part of an angelic choir, showing that her own voice is a special instrument that can almost explode like a bomb in colorless love. Mayuko is a mother of six children and is married to a man named Mayo Kurosawa. She has three equally blonde-blue-eyed daughters and three brown-haired sons with brown-blue eyes. If you were to stand before her, her presence can usually only be viewed as positive and cheerful. A woman who is like Eden, a divine force who always smiles, even on bad days. However, she can easily show her emotions if you lead her astray.

What is your character's outlook on students and co-workers?:
Mayuko is a very gifted woman who presents her demeanor in a rather talented manner like a ballerina, supple and vibrant in her demeanor. A kind of elegance and barely a trace of arrogance. A true dream woman, you might say, but it's a blessing the way she is. She was a ballerina herself and looks athletic too, speaking almost as if she were bound along with the flow of the musical melody in a duet. She is fabulous, kind to everyone. Almost like an angel in heaven spreading joy. You could describe Mayuko as the daughter of Eden. It doesn't really matter whether it's a faculty member, a student, or even the SLT them selves. She behaves decently and can seem funny, but sometimes she prefers to show decency towards her fellow human beings and employees. When it comes to teaching, she wants to see motivation, which means she's more likely to be motivated to design her own lessons. Creating art with gestures and showing how friendly and kind she can be in front of people to reduce negativity.

What is your character's motivation for teaching?:
Mayuko had been a ballerina herself as a teenager, but also participated in musical activities. She became a pianist herself, able to play beautiful pieces with years of experience. She loved to show off her musical talent, not just as a ballerina on the dance floor. She wanted to become highly gifted and also teach more people what it is like to feel music based on the melody and how something comes about through time. She loves to talk about music and art and thus shows a loving talent in this area. Since then, she began studying music to find out more about how famous songs were composed, which instruments were used and why. The reason why was this subject particularly close to her heart. Why was this piece of music created, the background and facts for this wonderful piece were very close to her heart. And through these interactions with all these topics and the real playing of songs, that's what she wants to share and the best thing is when she's a teacher at a school where she can show what she's been shown to study.

Roleplay Scenarios

A student in class is struggling to understand the content, what would your character do?:
If a student doesn't understand something and speaks up on their own but doesn't explain what they didn't understand, Mayuko would first approach them so they could talk to them normally. However, in front of the class. Mayuko would want to ask what exactly they didn't understand in order to get to the bottom of the matter. Mayuko wants to give everyone a chance to understand what the student doesn't know exactly. If it hasn't been explained either and Mayuko hasn't figured out why the student simply didn't understand, she would have to explain it again from start to finish, briefly and concisely, step by step, to better impress on the student's understanding. This should usually work, but if the student doesn't understand and gives up and refuses to learn, then Mayuko would have no choice but to continue the lesson after trying to teach.

A student is continuously being disruptive in class, talking out of turn, and making jokes with classmates. What would your character do?:
Mayuko would consider it a noise nuisance and a disruption. She would first become more involved in the class, continuing her theme to see how the students react and how the troublemakers behave. However, if they were disrupting the class, Mayuko would have to issue warnings stating that it was pointless to even disrupt the class, demonstrating that this would simply be bad behavior. Depending on how she feels about the class, she would interpret a system as a whole by developing a kind of points system where students with more points get a better chance of getting homework, or those with fewer points get none at all, a way to encourage students to participate more quietly in class without causing a disruption. But back to the topic of the troublemakers who are currently continuing to disrupt the class. Mayuko would become cheeky and expel the indecent students with a warning. It would, of course, depend on whether these students responded to the warnings this time or not. What would be important to Mayuko is for them to continue participating in class and stop the nonsense. In the worst case scenario, she would have to expel troublemakers from the class or even impose detention for not listening to the teacher.

Provide at least 2 interactive class ideas related to your preferred subject:
A special topic about the famous American soul pianist and singer Ray Charles with a matching quiz
- The topic is discussed in detail, with examples of the singer's musical pieces being shown, as well as the instruments used for soul pieces, including the breathtaking rendition of the sung song "Hit The Road Jack." It is kept simple, but also about the lifestyle that led Ray Charles to become blind at the age of 8, thus becoming recognized as a blind soul singer and player.

8 Mile Movie - Eminem
- This is more about a kind of reconstruction of how rap originated from Eminem himself, a world-famous American rapper who even had a film made in which he tells his life story, how he lost a rap battle and, at the end, rose from the depths of the cellar to the roof of his honor. A look back at Eminem's past, which could also be given as homework.
